//XD
A part of me wants their first kiss to be as Addie is leaving or something
But that’s too much angst
I think
Idk
I’m indecisive

“Okay,” Addie nodded, smiling. “Lead the way.” She held up their clasped hands. “I won’t lose you.”

@CWTurtleOfFreedom

//right. Ok I’ll change it. I’m sorry I’m a mess this morning

Addie loved the Vespa. Her hair whipped behind her; besides the occasional strands that hit her face, she loved the feeling.

//yes I remember they have helmets but eeehhhh

(Oof. It's fine. Me, too.)

Archer sped through the city of love on the bright red Vespa. He was pleased to e spending time with the girl who rode with him. Maybe he would ask her out later…

//what do I say
Ummmmmmmmmmm

Addie could see the Eiffel Tower in the distance, growing closer and closer as they drove towards it. That’s how eyesight works, idiot.

Archer led her up, where a dark-haired guy met the once they went up the elevator. Archer smiled at him and gave him a fist bump.

"Andrew! Hey, can you get us a table tonight?" he asked.

"Of course! There's always a table for you here," the guy – Andrew, said.

Addie was very much conscious of her American accent as she introduced herself to this ‘Andrew’. “Hi,” she said, offering him a hand. “I’m Addie.”

"Right. Andrew, Addie. Addie, Andrew," Archer introduced the two to each other, pointing to the names' respectful owners.

Andrew nodded at Addie and grinned. "A pleasure to meet you."

Archer sighed at the comment of the table. He had helped out as a waiter on time while they were really busy and they never forgot it somehow.

They saved the table for him and his girlfriend, but… he didn't have many of those. No girl ever seemed right for him. Not until Addie came along, that is.

Addie sat down at the table, unfolding the cloth napkin and smoothing it over her thighs. She smiled at Archer’s awkwardness. “Is this the first time you’ve actually taken advantage of the offer of a table here?” she asked.

@CWTurtleOfFreedom

Addie laughed. “Well, I’m sure your mum enjoyed herself,” she said. “Really, nobody? I cannot be the first sort-of-maybe-hopefully-girlfriend-ish-person you’ve had.”
