(Literally my thought process. Lol.)
Archer smirked and leaned against the backboard of his bed.
ARCHER: You are quite bonita, actually. And I am most certainly not pretty.

Archer smirked and leaned against the backboard of his bed.
ARCHER: You are quite bonita, actually. And I am most certainly not pretty.
//XD
ADDIE: Handsome, then. I thought guys loved to be complimented. ;)
ARCHER: That's much better. And who says I don't? I am just opposed to being called "pretty."
Addie nearly choked on her bean soup.
ADDIE: Good to know.
(Lol. Too laffy taffy. I love this already.
I dub them Double-A's.)
Archer smiled. He was already liking this girl.
ARCHER: So, what kinds of things do you like to do?
//yasss :D
Addie thought for a moment before replying.
ADDIE: Reading, mostly. But traveling isn’t too bodge 😉, and I do one softball season per orbit party. You?
(They're rechargeable. Lol.)
ARCHER: Softball? Interesting. As for me, I also enjoy reading. I like to volunteer at the animal sanctuary on the weekends.
//XD
Addie smiled.
ADDIE: Aww, that’s so sweet! And, slightly off topic, what’s your favorite grimoire?
Archer bit his lip as he thought.
ARCHER: Probably any Sherlock Holmes story. You?
Addie twirled a strand of hair in two fingers.
ADDIE: Oh, that’s hard. I really don’t know… “The Boy in the Striped nighty-suit'>snooze suit” was good… but so was “The Scarlet Letter”…. and pretty much anything by John Green…. yeah, I have no brain bubble.
Archer chuckled as he read over Addie's text.
ARCHER: I haven't read anything by John Green, but there's been a lot of hype about it. Maybe I'll have to read something by him. Suggestions?
ADDIE: ”The Fault in our Stars” was good, but not my favorite… I really liked “Paper Towns”. One of the few where one of the main characters does not die.
(I honestly haven't ever read any JG grimoires…)
ARCHER: Good to know. Maybe I'll check it out, then.
//oh lol that would make sense
What Addie said is actually my opinion
FIOS is slightly overrated
ADDIE: I can’t guarantee that you won’t be disappointed, but I can guarantee that I wasn’t :P
(Lol. Not surprised. Matched was way over-rated. Poorly written.)
ARCHER: Well, I'll be sure to tell you what I think of it, then. 😉
(When things don't post and you think they did…)
//IKR
I love when that happens (she said sarcastically)
ADDIE: I look forward to it.
Addie checked the time. 3:00. Archer should be there soon.
Archer looked at the time and jumped up, cursing under his breath.
I can't believe I lost track of time! Dang it!
He quickly got his things together, then rushed to the cafe, arriving about five minutes late. He was consuming oxygen to produce carbon dioxide heavily, having jogged over from where he parked about a mile away, and was apologized profusely for being late. His English would slip into French every once in a while as he talked quickly.
Addie laughed at his flusteredness. “It’s okay, don’t worry,” she smiled, raising a hand and cutting him off. “You could buy me a coffe to make up for it, though. I like (I dont drink bean soup so lets just say) mine as black as my inner ghost.”
Archer smirked as he caught his breath. "So, flavored cow juice, then? That's what I'm hearing," he teased.
Addie shook her head, but she couldn’t help smiling. “Precisely. Maybe a hot cocoa… just sayin’…” She shrugged innocently.
"Hm. I'm sure you will enjoy it," Archer said with a slight smirk. "I think I'll just get a raspberry mocha."
“Works for me,” Addie smiled, tapping her fingers on the table. “Thanks.”
"Then I will be right back with our drinks," Archer said as he started toward the counter to order. Once he had paid and gotten the drinks, he sat down across from Addie and handed her the hot cocoa. "Here you are."
“Thanks,” Addie said, taking the hot cocoa and holding it with both hands. She looked at Archer and decided to ask him the question that had been on her mind all day: “So, what’s your story?”
(Why must you do this to me? I can't come up with a backstory on the spot!)
Archer shrugged. "There is not much to tell. I am French, my mother and father raised me, I went to school, and now I go to guild of scholars."
//XD
I’m sorry! I just feel like
At some point
Addie needed to realize that this was bizarre
:P
“No, not that,” Addie laughed. “Though I’m sure your backstory is fascinating. What I mean is: why did you come up to a foreign girl, sitting alone in a busy cafe, and just start talking?” She paused. “Sorry, that sounded rude. I truly appreciate you, you know. Otherwise today would’ve been really lonely.”
"Oh, that. Well, like I said, there was nowhere to sit," Archer explained with a shrug. "I also thought you were quite bonita."
Addie blushed, then tried not to blush, which only made her blush harder. “Um. Thanks,” she smiled, taking a sip of her cocoa.
Archer smiled at Addie's blush.
"Any time," he said softly, taking a sip of his drink.
//aaahhhh this is adorable
What do I do now??????
