ADDIE: I look forward to it.

ADDIE: I look forward to it.
Addie checked the time. 3:00. Archer should be there soon.
Archer looked at the time and jumped up, cursing under his breath.
I can't believe I lost track of time! Dang it!
He quickly got his things together, then rushed to the cafe, arriving about five minutes late. He was breathing heavily, having jogged over from where he parked about a mile away, and was apologized profusely for being late. His English would slip into French every once in a while as he talked quickly.
Addie laughed at his flusteredness. “It’s okay, don’t worry,” she smiled, raising a hand and cutting him off. “You could buy me a coffe to make up for it, though. I like (I dont drink coffee so lets just say) mine as black as my soul.”
Archer smirked as he caught his breath. "So, flavored milk, then? That's what I'm hearing," he teased.
Addie shook her head, but she couldn’t help smiling. “Precisely. Maybe a hot cocoa… just sayin’…” She shrugged innocently.
"Hm. I'm sure you will enjoy it," Archer said with a slight smirk. "I think I'll just get a raspberry mocha."
“Works for me,” Addie smiled, tapping her fingers on the table. “Thanks.”
"Then I will be right back with our drinks," Archer said as he started toward the counter to order. Once he had paid and gotten the drinks, he sat down across from Addie and handed her the hot cocoa. "Here you are."
“Thanks,” Addie said, taking the hot cocoa and holding it with both hands. She looked at Archer and decided to ask him the question that had been on her mind all day: “So, what’s your story?”
(Why must you do this to me? I can't come up with a backstory on the spot!)
Archer shrugged. "There is not much to tell. I am French, my mother and father raised me, I went to school, and now I go to college."
//XD
I’m sorry! I just feel like
At some point
Addie needed to realize that this was bizarre
:P
“No, not that,” Addie laughed. “Though I’m sure your backstory is fascinating. What I mean is: why did you come up to a foreign girl, sitting alone in a busy cafe, and just start talking?” She paused. “Sorry, that sounded rude. I truly appreciate you, you know. Otherwise today would’ve been really lonely.”
"Oh, that. Well, like I said, there was nowhere to sit," Archer explained with a shrug. "I also thought you were quite beautiful."
Addie blushed, then tried not to blush, which only made her blush harder. “Um. Thanks,” she smiled, taking a sip of her cocoa.
Archer smiled at Addie's blush.
"Any time," he said softly, taking a sip of his drink.
//aaahhhh this is adorable
What do I do now??????
(Whatever you want. Lol.)
Addie set down her drink, smiling. “Wow. Um. Where are we going today? You did say you’d take me on a tour.”
//is that ok
(Have I ever said it's not?)
"I was thinking the Louvre first, then maybe a walk around Paris?" Archer suggested with a shrug. "We could also take a Vespa. And if we're still out when it's late, we could see the Eiffle Tower. We could even go into it."
//true lol
“That sounds amazing,” Addie smiled, standing up, and, still holding her coffee in one hand, slung her purse over one shoulder. “Shall we?”
(Trust me, I'll tell you if you ever have to change something.
You know the Louvre, right?)
"Of course. We should probably take a Vespa to the river," Archer said as he stood as well, grabbing his own drink.
//yep
“Okay,” Addie nodded. “Lead the way.”
(Okay, just checking.)
Archer smiled and offered Addie his hand. "M'lady."
//lol np
Addie laughed, placing her hand in his. “Thank you, kind sir.”
Archer winked at her as he led her out and into the street. People bustled around them as they walked along, and they eventually arrived at a place with scooters to rent. They came in all sorts of different colors.
"Pick a color," he said as he turned to look at her.
