(Lol okay.)
(Lol okay.)
Archer drove to the Louvre, pointing out places he'd been to in their way.
"I met my best friend there." He pointed to an elaborate water fountain.
Addie smiled. “That’s so cool! And such a pretty fountain.”
"Yes, it's quite lovely, isn't it?" Archer mused. He glanced at her over his shoulder and have her a slight smirk. "But not the loveliest thing I've seen today."
Addie blushed. “Um. Thanks.” She paused, realization dawning on her. “Wait, you did mean me, right? I mean, if not, that’s totally okay, just ignore me, but if it was me, then thanks….. I’m rambling again.”
Archer laughed, shaking his head in amusement. "Yes, I did mean you."
“Well, thanks, then,” Addie smiled, craning her neck to look over her shoulder at the retreating form of the fountain in the distance.
"Oh, and that's where my best friend proposed to his now-wife," Archer said, pointing to a fancy-looking restaurant. "I videoed it for them."
“Same best friend?” Addie asked, turning her head to follow the restaurant as they drove by.
(NB is being slow again…)
"Yes. He had this elaborate proposal planned out for months, but he ended up just getting them a table at the restaurant and buying two dozen roses… I suppose that is fairly elaborate, though," Archer laughed.

Addie laughed, too. “Red roses, I assume?”

Not really
But hey

(Yeah, it's weird.)
//very much so

Addie laughed, too. “Red roses, I assume?”
"Oh, yes. So many roses." Archer feigned a shudder.
“Two dozen is a bit over the top,” Addie agreed.
Archer chuckled. "That's how he is. He likes to make his feelings for his wife known."
Addie laughed. “I can only imagine.” She leaned a bit to the left in her seat to look around Archer. “What’s that?” she asked, pointing.
Archer peered at it for a moment.
"That would be the Louvre. We're almost there," he explained.
“Yay!” Addie said excitedly, resuming her original position.
Archer shot a smile at her over his shoulder, then sped up. They were soon at the river, and he parked the scooter, waiting for Addie to get off before he did.
Addie got off the scooter and took off her helmet, shaking her head to make her hair less helmet-hair-y.
Archer watched Addie shake out her hair, almost mesmerized by her. He shook his head a bit and got off the scooter, putting the key in his pocket.
"Would you like to walk across the bridge?" he asked, holding his hand out to her.
“Lead the way, monsieur,” Addie smiled, taking his hand.
"Bien sûr, madam," Archer chuckled, leading her toward the bridge. "So, what's your story?"
“Um. I’m still alive…?” Addie offered, shrugging. “Nothing to tell, really.”
