(Finally home!)
"That is correct. I'm the manager," andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) said with a nod.
"Yeah, but he started by cleaning tables," Archer chuckled.

"Yeah, but he started by cleaning tables," Archer chuckled.
Addie smiled. “Everybody has to start somewhere,” she said cheerfully. “Thanks for getting us a table.”
"It was no problem, there's always one set aside for Archer, even if he never uses it," andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) said as he started to lead them to the table.
Addie didn’t really know what to say to that, so she just chuckled lightly before following andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) to the table.
Archer sighed at the comment of the table. He had helped out as a waiter on time while they were really busy and they never forgot it somehow.
They saved the table for him and his girlfriend, but… he didn't have many of those. No girl ever seemed right for him. Not until Addie came along, that is.
//XD
I gtg rn I’ll respond in a bit
I’m sorry
(Lol. Okay.)
Archer sighed at the comment of the table. He had helped out as a waiter on time while they were really busy and they never forgot it somehow.
They saved the table for him and his girlfriend, but… he didn't have many of those. No girl ever seemed right for him. Not until Addie came along, that is.
Addie sat down at the table, unfolding the cloth napkin and smoothing it over her thighs. She smiled at Archer’s awkwardness. “Is this the first time you’ve actually taken advantage of the offer of a table here?” she asked.
Archer shook his head. "No, not the first. It is only my second, though. The first time I brought my mother," he told her with a wry smile.
Addie laughed. “Well, I’m sure your mum enjoyed herself,” she said. “Really, nobody? I cannot be the first sort-of-maybe-hopefully-girlfriend-ish-person you’ve had.”
"Yes, she did enjoy it. And you're not, sorry, but I'm hoping you last longer than the other girl did," Archer said, his smile dropping slightly before he caught himself and beamed charmingly at Addie.
Addie noticed the momentary lapse, but she pretended not to notice. “I hope so, too.” She hoped her thoughts of (guy whose name i have not thought of yet) weren’t written all over her face.
They weren't, but Archer noticed nonetheless. He didn't say anything, though, just smiled and searched the menu.
“What are you going to get?” Addie asked him, looking up from her own menu.
"The escargot," Archer said, trying to keep a straight face.
“Interesting,” Addie said, also trying to keep a straight face, but for different reasons. “I am not getting that.”
Archer scrunched his nose up.
"Yeah… Neither am I… You know what you're ordering?" he asked.
//googles menu
“Um… maybe the bouillabaisse?” Addie said hesitantly. She honestly had no clue what all the French names meant, especially the mildly unpronounceable ones like ‘bouillabaisse’.
As the author has no idea what the heck that is, Archer smiled.
"Good choice. I think I'll get the same."
Addie smiled. “Okey dokey, sounds good.” She looked around the busy restaurant. “Do the waiters come to us, or….?”
(#stressed
)
"Yes, they do," Archer chuckled. "But it's very busy here, so we will probably have to wait awhile."
//#same tho
“Okay,” Addie said happily, leaning back in her chair. “So how’s life?”
(I literally almost cried because I thought something was literal instead of figurative in my English assignment. It's nit even that big if a deal, but…)
"Life is great, at the moment. I'm sitting across from someone very lovely," Archer stated with a smile.
//aww. I’m here if I can help with anything
Addie blushed. “Well, I could say the same thing… Except for replace ‘lovely’ with ‘handsome’.” She smiled shyly.
