“Me too,” Addie laughed, just as the doors opened. She rushed outside, because I’m going with the open-terrace idea…. never been to Paris, soooo…. “Wow, it’s so far down!”

(Lol. Like, same though.)
Archer laughed.
"Yeah, it is. At least there's a barrier, though."
“Yeah,” Addie murmured, leaning over as far as she could. “Everything looks so small…”
"It does, yeah. It's amazing," Archer murmured.
Addie turned to Archer. “Is it safe to assume that you’ve been up here before?” She turned back to the view. “Because I haven’t. This is…. amazing.”
"I haven't, actually. It's beautiful," Archer said softly, glancing at Addie. "Like you…"
Addie blushed. “Thanks. You’re not so bad, yourself.”
Archer chuckled. "Thanks," he said gently, nudging her softly.
//so what now
“Anytime,” Addie smiled, holding on to the railing as though worried she would blow away.
(Um… Skip until the day or day before she has to leave?)
Archer looked over the "city of love" for a moment longer before sighing and turning to Addie.
"It's getting late," he pointed out. "I suppose you need to be back soon?"
//sure
“Yeah, my mum will worry,” Addie nodded. “Umm… thank you… for today.”
"It was my pleasure," Archer said with a smile. He gently took her hand and started to lead her back to the scooter.
//time skip now?
(Sure.)
//ok. To when?
(Uhhhhhhh. Idk. Maybe they were going to hang out, so Archer has picked her up and they're going somewhere?)
//ok
The next morning, Addie was standing in line at the same cafe, waiting for Archer.
Archer arrived, having walked from his apartment, and stepped into the cafe. He looked around for Addie, smiling when he saw her.
"Bonjour, mademoiselle," he greeted her when he reached her.
“Hi,” Addie smiled. “Do you know what you’re going to get?” She nodded at the menu, which (thankfully for Addie and also for me) was written in both French and English.
"Probably just a chocolate croissant and a black coffee," Archer replied with a shrug. "I'm very simple in my order. Have you decided yet?"
“I was thinking the same,” Addie said, taking a step forwards as the line progressed.
"Great minds think alike," Archer chuckled.
“Exactly,” Anya laughed.
"But… fools seldom differ," Archer pointed out, quoting something he'd seen on Pinterest.
Addie thought for a moment. “I would disagree with that,” she started, “but it’s our turn to order.”
