"Well, thank you," Archer said with a smile.
(I'm better now.)
"Well, thank you," Archer said with a smile.
//that’s good.
“You’re welcome,” Addie smiled back.
A waiter finally walked up and took their order, then told them that it would be about an hour.
"Thank you," Archer said as the waiter walked away.
//do they have a window seat? If not I can change this
Addie leaned towards the window, holding her hair back from falling into her face with one hand. “Everything looks so tiny,” she said, amazed.
(Sure. Lol. I hadn't thought about that, tbh.)
"It does, doesn't it? Makes you think about how important we really are in this giant world of many people," Archer mused.
“We’re all insignificant, really,” Addie agreed. “Each of us, a fleeting blip on Histoy’s radar.”
"Unless you somehow manage to become important," Archer agreed with a nod.
“Even so, your imprint is eventually stepped on, erased from the history books,” Addie said thoughtfully, absentmindedly drumming her fingers on the table. “I wrote something about that, once….”
"True… Why don't we move onto less deep of a topic?" Archer chuckled. His writer can't handle much more deep stuff, due to the fact that one of her other RPs is kinda sad but very exciting.
//XD
Addie laughed, much like her writer did when she read that comment. “Sure. Puppies.”
"I had a dog when I was younger. Shep. He was pretty old," Archer said.
Addie’s face fell. “Ah, bad subject. Umm…. ice cream…?”
Archer frowned a bit when Addie's face fell, and he hoped he hadn't said something wrong.
"Um… Oh, I like rocky road. What about you? What's your favorite?" he asked.
“That’s so hard!” Addie exclaimed. She hoped she hadn’t made things awkward by trying to avoid talking about Archer’s former dog. “Umm… yeah, probably rocky road for me, too.”
(Never actually had rocky road before. Lol. But I've had something called Moose Tracks. It's so good.)
"Really? That's cool!" Archer said.
A waiter came over with their food and set it in front of them. Archer thanked him before he walked away.
//ooh I’ve had that!!!
Addie smiled. She looked down at the food. “It smells so good!”
(It's amazing. I seriously love it so much.)
"Mm, yeah. Let's eat, then," Archer said as his stomach rumbled.
//:D
“Agreed,” Addie said, picking up her fork.
Archer started in on his food. By the time he was done, he still wasn't full. He looked longingly at the dessert menu.
Addie started to say something about how good the food was, but then she noticed the direction of Archer’s gaze. Laughing softly, she said, “I guess you want dessert, huh?”
"I always want dessert," Archer admitted sheepishly, smiling. "You go ahead and pick something. Whatever you want."
“Ooh, rash decision,” Addie laughed. “I’m good with whatever, really. You choose.”
"No, really. I insist that you pick. We can be surprised since you won't know what it means and I won't know what it is," Archer said with a smile.
Addie smiled, picking up the dessert menu. “Sounds good.” She perused it until she found something she thought sounded like it did not have snails. “Okay, this one.”
"Okay, now don't show me. Wait until the waiter comes back and show him," Atcher said, grinning. This was kind of exciting for him.
