(You're gonna have to give me a minute. I'm playing stardew valley with my bf)
(I am here… SO LET'S START THIS THING SO MAYBE IT DOESN'T GO POOF!)
It was a sunny day at Camp Half-Blood. It was still relatively warm inside the camp shields, thanks to camp director being able to control the weather within the boundaries. There were few campers than there was in summer, as it was autumn. Some campers chose to go back into the mortal world to attend school, leaving the year-rounder children by themselves. Some were sad to loose their friends for the school year, but ultimately, no matter how dangerous, it wasn't worth trying to convince them otherwise. Half of them would likely end up back at camp during the school year anyways, due to a monster attack and such. But for now, the campers could enjoy a little peace and quiet from some of the crowd. The Hermes cabin would be a little more empty this time of year. Most of the year round campers were in the midst of training. They always had a game after the summer campers left, just to challenge the year rounders. This year. It would be capture the flag, an all time favorite.
Amelia couldn't be bothered with training. She knew she was a decent enough shot with a bow and arrow, and if it came down to it, she knew how to evade people. Physical fighting was not for her. She didn't like getting her hands dirty, especially when there were other people who could do it for her. Her words were her armor. So instead, she was soaking up the last bit of the summer sun. She was laid out on her towel at the beach in her string bikini. She had her bottle of water beside her, as hydration was very important, and her sunscreen as well. She took care of her skin. She was not going to get skin cancer anytime soon, nor risk damaging her skin. She just wanted a nice little summer glow and to enjoy the heat while it lasted. Eventually, the director would let in the autumn breeze and cool off camp. So, she was at the beach until off training with many of her fellow campers.
(I’ll probably respond sometime tomorrow)
(Here I am, posting it as the majority asked, and no one reposnds :( )

Ethnicity/ race: he's Caucasian/white with a dash of Asian and some Romanian.
Sexuality: he's a child.
Romantic Orientation: he prefers sleep.
Human Parent: mom
God Parent: Morpheus
Region Camp: Roman
Likes (3+): sleeping, his blanket, the Stars, drawing, giving people nice dreams.
Dislikes (3+): being woken up from his sleep or naps, when people take his blanket from him, being talked to by people he dosent know. Nightmares. Not being able to remember things.
Hobbies (2+): drawing, giving people nice dreams, napping.
Fears (2+): being trapped in his nightmares, forgetting everything he knows, being abandoned and alone.
Personality (Personality Is very important for this so make it specific 2-3 sentences is minimum): he's often tired, though when he's not tired he's anxious and nervous. He can be friendly and kind most of the time if he's familiar with the person he's with. He loves helping people and seeing them happy.
Backstory (Have fun with it please 5 sentences minimum): Noah was with just his mom since his dad left early for most of his childhood, however when his mom married his step dad they decided to honeymoon on Paraguay, though this really was a ploy to get rid of Noah for being such a lazy and ungrateful kid, or so he overheard one night, well he was told to go play once when they were in Paraguay and when he came back to where they were supposed to be from playing the house was empty. He began to cry, knowing his mom's plan to leave him behind was really true. He heard some singing after wandering around for a while and began to walk towards it, once he spotted a tall male figure he began to get extremely drowsy and he collapsed with his blanket held tightly around him. Jaci jaterê had decided to take him with him to where Aviv was and keep him for a couple years. He was 6 when he was taken by jaci. However after two years jaci said something about it being to dangerous to stay, and kissed him on the forehead. He fell asleep and woke up in the bed in a family home in Paraguay. He pulled his blanket closed to him as he quickly became panicked of his unfamiliar setting with kids he didn't know. One of the parents In the family encouraged one of the kids to go and comfort him, and they did. They walked over and offered him a pencil and paper, and tried to help him calm down. Eventually after talking for a while they got closer and he came out of his blanket shell and started doodling on the paper, he moved to draw Aviv and jaci without realizing who they were.
One of the kids asked about the drawing because they recognized some features of jaci from the folk stories and he just shrugged, when asked what happened before he just recalled walking and then passing out before waking up there in bed.
He realized that he could talk to people in his dreams one night when he dreamed of Aviv and ran into him in his dream, and realized he remembered him. Though when he woke up he didn't remember the figure he had drawn, Aviv. It confused him and made him upset, he wished he could just remember permeantly.
He did realize that he could alter people's dreams eventually when he saved Aviv from some giant spiders, he turned them into little bunnies.
Eventually he started get mythical creatures attacking the group home, but of course the parents didn't believe him and just labeled him as a trouble maker even though he was sleeping most of the time from his love of naps.
Eventually the caretakers hit him, and threatened not to give him food if he kept lying about mythical creatures and didn't admit to what he knew he did.
One night he had a dream about a tree near the family home and decided the next night to sneak out and go to it. He did so, and when he got there he found an escort there to take him to camp.
He eventually found his way to camp, and has been there maybe a year or two.
Demigod Ability (Try to make a specific ability but something general is okay too, make it tailored to your godly parent): He can give people happy dreams, nightmares or sleeping difficulties. He can also talk with people in his sleep and in other people's dreams. the negative effects of his ability (nightmares, having trouble sleeping etc) are attached to his little boy emotions. He can't give himself nightmares or good dreams but constantly gets nightmares. lucid dreaming as well as a 12 year old boy is able with a little bit of training his ability, his nightmares get stronger against other people the more upset he is with that person or sometimes the people he's around and they are sleeping, or they could have trouble sleeping.
Strengths: dream hopping and speaking to people keeps him a lot more informed then one might think because he can see there deepest fears personified by nightmares.
Weaknesses: his powers make him tired all the time, his traumatized from his backstory leading him to not want to trus5 people even though he likes making friends, he's strong for a 12 year old but that's pretty weak in reality. His emotions are very unstable.
Charm Accessory (Bracelet, Ring, Hairpin any accessory works): bracelet
Godly gift (is not a relic of that pantheon): his blanket. It's scented with lavender and always smells like what home felt like. Helps him fall asleep.
(I definitely didn't immediately leave my pc. Definitely not.)
(Here he is for now)
(Definitely not)
(Mhm. Liars)
(…YOU CAN'T PROVE ANYTHING! Bolts)
(Shoot should I post Aviv? Idk if we should bring Brazilian mythology into this)
(I hope you don't mind the ranging mythology, i can always remove him)
Wendi was supposed to be training with the rest of the Hecate cabin, but her half-siblings insisted she take the day off after a mild panic attack that morning. She honestly had been expecting it given most of the summer campers had left to go back to their homes already and the 5th year anniversary of her arrival at camp was coming up soon. What she, and no one else, had been expecting was the mist maze she had accidentally covered a majority of the camp in during her panic attack. So now she was sitting near the beach in her full purple sweater, jeans, and black scarf (that covered up her black ribbon choker) 'attempting' to relax instead of training.
(I can always cut the Brazilian mythology out)
(Uhhh. I mean the kind rick roirdan mixes stuff so idk why we can't)
(Then is it alright if I use a character who’s the child of a Latin indigenous god?)
(Sure ig. Or maybe you could do like half Greek and the other parent is a descendant of that so they can still get into chb)
Name: Aviv Perez
Age: 19
Gender: demiboy
Pronouns: he/they
Sexuality: asexual
Godly Parent: Jaci Jaterê, the Guarani god of the siesta/sleep/rest and protector of secret treasures
Weapon(s): a leather necklace with a small, blue glass bead tied to it, and this bead acts as the key. When Aviv grabs the necklace and holds the bead to his chest, it can form a magical shield around them
Powers (if any): invisibility, which he can control at will. They can also make suggestions to people to get them to do certain things, it’s a bit similar to charmspeak. However, he can only use this power if it is a reasonable action and he invokes their father’s name. It also takes energy out of them. Aviv is also known as a sort of Secret Keeper. You can tell them a secret or give him something precious to you, and they will always keep it safe in little mason jars that can only be opened by the people with the secret, or Aviv himself.
Appearance: Aviv is about 5’10 with a slender, angular frame. He has a bit of a diamond-shaped face with a brown olive complexion, with freckles splashing their skin. His hair is dark, a little long and wavy, with some of it falling into his eyes, which are striking clear blue. Dark glasses also rest around his eyes, and he tends to wear loose, comfy clothes.
Personality: Aviv is a very quiet and introverted person, though being at the camp as long as he has, has given them a few friends. This is good, as they deeply value close relationships and caring for others, and as such he’s very sincere and insightful when he interacts with people. Other times, especially with strangers, they’ll appear gruff and skittish. They also tend to prefer peaceful living and quiet, not much for adventuring or questing.
Short Backstory: sorry guys, you’re not getting the short version. Aviv was raised in a large family, with his mom (a descendant of Athena), stepdad, and 5 younger siblings. It was chaotic and sometimes difficult for Aviv, as from the time he was around 8 they were often asked to take care of their siblings while his parents worked. Sometimes he was able to calm things down, other times not so much. It drained them, and he never had much time to himself. That, in addition to his insomnia, made their energy level perpetually low. Sometimes he would go mute or invisible without them realizing it, inadvertently causing more chaos.
When Aviv was about 13, their family traveled all the way to rural Peru to visit their grandparents. It wasn’t a bad vacation, and the usual chaos died down a little. Aviv liked to sneak into the forest to have some actual alone time. On one of these sneak-outs, he heard something that sounded like a lullaby in the air. Entranced, he followed it, and eventually saw a light-haired figure in the distance before falling unconscious.
When they woke up, they were in a small house in the middle of the jungle. A blonde man was in the house with him, and Aviv soon remembered the stories of Jaci Jaterê that his mother would tell him when they couldn’t sleep. He was afraid, but the man soon calmed him down and told them everything… well, most things. Yes, he was Jaci Jaterê, but also that Aviv was his child and that his mother would soon know where they were. However, she would not come to look for him. Aviv was to live with his father now.
So it went. At first, Aviv was scared, worried about his siblings and their family leaving Peru without him. Over time, however, they grew used to their new quiet life. Jaci taught him to control his invisibility and the other abilities he didn’t even know they had. Even better, he would use his hypnosis to lull Aviv to sleep, temporarily curing his insomnia. Jaci was a little cold sometimes, and quiet as well. Very rarely did he show them physical affection. Sometimes, his father would get this look in his eyes, and he would turn invisible and leave Aviv alone for a few hours. Aviv himself rarely left, they knew the stories of the jungle and it would be too dangerous for them. Indeed, it was the opposite of his previous life with their mortal family. Then, after about a year and a half, things changed. Jaci returned from his mysterious trips with a small boy asleep in his arms. He explained that the boy was lost, that he had found Jaci and not the other way around (as it usually happened). When the boy woke up, he told them his name was Noah, and so Aviv now had a little adopted brother of sorts. They grew close and spent a lot of time together, but Aviv still was able to get time to themself. Soon it became clear that Noah was also a demigod, but neither Aviv nor Jaci knew who his godly parent could be. But life moved on, with the god and the boys in his care, for another two years.
Aviv was now 16, turning 17 soon. Jaci Jaterê wakes him and Noah up to tell them they must leave soon, that they were in danger. He was hesitant to say why, but Aviv knew it was likely Jaci Jaterê’s monstrous brothers, who they realized were also their uncles. He and Noah helped each other pack up a bit, and when they were ready, Jaci sat them down. They all said their goodbyes, and the god turned to Aviv first. He gave him a singular kiss on the cheek, teleporting him back to their mortal grandparents house after so many years. After some crying and seeing his family one last time, Aviv found his way to camp not long after that.
Some things that should be mentioned: sometime after they came to camp they started dating a daughter of Hermes, but it didn’t go well and they broke up about 6 months before the start of this roleplay. Noah, being a demigod, also made it to the camp, and Aviv still tries to be close and protective of him even though he doesn’t seem to remember them now.
Wynn made his way from the forge down to where Amelia was currently laying out, he dropped his towel in the sand and took off his shirt. He used it to wipe some grease off his face before he dropped that too. Totally not showing off his toned body or anything.
He moved to head into the water, splashing Amelia as he did, swimming and washing his face and body a little bit before just allowing himself to float on his back and relax.
(Or, or echo-location. Sees via soundwaves. That would be kinda cool too.)
(DareDevil vibes)
Adin walked out of the hermes cabin, stretching as he was a year round camper that decided not to go back to school. It was just too taxing on his mom for him to be there and cause her trouble when she was already struggling with her business on her own.
He didn't want to make trouble for her.
He let out a yawn as he walked across the camp grounds to make his way to the training grounds. He wasn't a big fighter, he just wanted to see who was still around that he could bother.
"Camp sure is empty." He huffed.
Noah was just napping at the edge of the strawberry field, he had eaten his fill of them and then gotten drowsy and fell asleep cuddled up in his blanket.
(Or, or echo-location. Sees via soundwaves. That would be kinda cool too.)
(DareDevil vibes)
(Exactly. Have a little bit of fun with it as long as you don't get too carried away. I will reign people in if anything gets too out of control)
(Is Aviv good?)
(Yeah)
