Raz watched Simon through his eyelashes, arching an eyebrow as he came over with a bottle of beer. He shrugged and nodded "sure. Never heard of it. What's it about?"

"YOU'VE NEVER SEEN 'THE EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE'?" Simon said in utter disbelief. "Jesus Christ. Your life is sorely lacking, my friend. Here, hold this." He dropped his beer into Razielle's hand, getting up and putting a DVD into the television. "I can't believe you've never seen this movie. I'm not going to tell you what it's about because you need to experience it for yourself."

Raz shook his head slightly "is that something I should have watched?" He pinched the bottle gingerly away from himself as he looked up at the screen. "I don't really watch TV all that much." He said shyly, curling up on the couch

“Yes! Honestly.” Simon took back his drink and sat on the couch, tucking one foot under the opposite leg and pressing play on the movie.

Raz nodded, only replying with a small 'oh.' before going quiet and watching the screen as the movie began, occasionally nudging Jack behind the ears. He tilted his head curiously as he watched, bopping his head along to the begining song

Simon watched Razielle, smiling slightly. "Like it so far?" he said softly, mostly because Jack was rapt, watching the movie with unwavering concentration.

Raz nodded happily, scratching Jack behind the ears. "Yeah, it's pretty good. I like Patcha so far, the old lady's henchman is pretty great too." He pointed to the prince "the llama though, he can politely leave."

"I told you," Simon said in self-satisfaction. "Movie of the century. And thank you for giving Jack attention and keeping him out of the sink."

(I've seen it before and it's great XD Not a favorite of mine personally but I do really like it.)
"Considering this is one of the few Disney movies I've seen, yes I can defiantly say it's a great movie." He send softly and nudged Jack gently "you're welcome, he really is sweet, just very picky it seems."

Jack purred, rubbing his face against Razielle’s. “Traitor!” Simon exclaimed, scowling at the cat, who gave him a smug look in return.

Raz nuzzled back and pressed a kiss to Jack's head. "All he wants is some attention and love. Isn't that right?" He cooed. "Or you want to spite your owner, that is valid." He nodded and returned his attention back the movie

“I think you just want to spite me,” Simon said, giving Razielle a glance out of the corner of his eye. “And go ahead. I can’t stop you. But I also can’t say it will end well for you.”

"I think I'd be willing to take the chance," he grinned and gently took Jack's paw and using it poke at Simon's arm. "You can't take both if us at the same time." He teased, looking up and smiling softly at a funny scene in the movie, momentarily ceasing his poking and teasing

"Huh. I think I could," Simon said confidently. "You'll be much easier to take down than Jack," he said, slightly as a joke.

"I'd love to see you try. Last time was a fluke, you caught me off guard." He retorted, still smiling. "I wouldn't underestimate me I your cat." He teased lightly, pulling his feet towards his chest and nuzzling Jack. "You distract him while I pin him down." He whispered

“A fluke? I don’t believe that. I could easily remove you from the equation, pal,” Simon said, setting his empty bottle on the coffee table.

"but you didn't." He tilted his head and arched a challenging eyebrow at Simon. He shrugged and gently rested his head against Jack. "Not going to lie that kind of surprised me."

Simon grinned. “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer,” he said. “Plus, you’re a picture-perfect scapegoat,” he added, mostly joking.

"oh so that's how your doing this, I see." Raz laughed and nodded "wow, and here I thought you actually wanted to be friends." He shook his head with a smile and shrugged "I don't believe your using me as a scapegoat. At least that's what I hope."

Simon blinked. “You wanted to be friends with me?” He inched farther away from Razielle on the couch, uncrossing his legs. “I d- Oh.”

He shrugged and glanced up at the TV to distract himself from the awkwardness "maybe not at first. Kinda thought you were like every other stuck up pretentious soul. But you're actually not that bad, at least when you're not pissed off." His brows turned up slightly in concern as Simon scooted away but he didn't say anything.

Simon looked slightly flustered. "Thank you," he said hesitantly. "I am pretty stuck-up."

"you're welcome." he chuckled lightly and nodded "you are but it's not as annoying as I thought before." He smiled lightly and rubbed Jack's head, returning to giving the cat affection

Simon didn’t say anything, thinking about what Razielle said. Spooks meowed at him and he picked her up absentmindedly, setting the cat in his lap.

Raz relaxed into the couch as he watched the movie, commentating occasionally on some of the scenes and then falling silent for a bit

As the movie ended, Simon got up and took the disc out, setting it on the TV stand, then put his empty bottle in the recycling. He looked outside at the dark sky, then at Razielle. In a bout of kindness that he neither expected or liked, he offered, "You can have my bed. If you don't want to leave."

Raz took a deep breath and stretched his limbs out, his wings fluttering behind him as he pulled his wings out of their cramped position. He blinked and tilted his head "you don't have to do that, I'm fine sleeping here if you're alright with me sleeping here again. I didn't realize how late it had gotten." He said, sheepishly.

"I did it anyway," he said. "Look, accept the offer or I'll feel bad. My detergent smells like cinnamon, if that impacts your decision."

Raz laughed softly and sighed deeply "it hasn't impacted it until now, but thank you for bringing it up. I'll sleep in your bed if you're really bothered by me sleeping on the couch." He finally agreed. "On one condition."

Simon frowned. “What is it?” he asked warily, watching Razielle with a carefully guarded expression.
