(oki so, I was thinking maybe Razielle goes back to hell and tries to make a deal with Lucifer? Maybe offers himself or his services up for Anaele? Something like that maybe?)
Razielle gently knocked on the door and nudged open the door and peeked inside, crouching down and nudging Spook's in greeting.
"wow so you can actually cook? You mean to tell me I made soup for no reason?" He teased, settling down on the couch
(sounds good)
"I'm going to take that as a compliment and not an insult," Simon said, looking over at Razielle. He put the lasagna in the oven and turned to Razielle. "I didn't make it for myself. And you would have said something rude about pasta sauce in a jar." He refilled Spook's food bowl and turned off the tap in the bathroom.
"I meant it as a compliment, I'm impressed that you've put so much thought into this." He said with a small smile. "If not for yourself then for who? I'm not sure how much people food an animal should eat." He said, slightly concerned. He scooped Spooks up and pressed a kiss to her nose "I'm sorry but we can't have you getting fat and lazy like your brother."
Simon flushed slightly. "It's for you. I thought that was obvious." He shrugged, turning back to the stove to hide his blush. "Jack isn't fat and lazy. He's just shy."
Raz raised his eyebrows in surprise, feeling heat raise to his cheeks. "You made something for me?" He squeaked, he covered his cheeks with the sleeves of his sweater to hide the blush and peeked up at Simon. "Thank you, you really didn't have to go out of your way to do all this." He said softly
"I kind of did. I was. . . rude to you. And you're doing all this shit to help me out. And it's just a lasagna. It's not a big deal," he said. He shrugged, sitting next to Raz on the couch but avoiding his gaze.
Raz shook his head "don't worry about it, I said some things that were harsh. I could have defiantly handled some things much better." He reassured, watching as Simon settled beside him. "And it's not just a lasagna, you actually cooked! This is the first time I've actually seen you cook something from scratch.Im excited to see how this came out." He smiled softly and nudged Simon's shoulder "thanks. I don't think anyone has made an apology lasagna before."
Simon blinked. "Um. Thank you?" He supposed this made him and Razielle friends, which wasn't an unpleasant thought. "I looked up a recipe online. It isn't exactly a feat to behold."
"for you it is," Raz replied teasingly, standing to check on the Lasagna, peeking into the stove. He smiled softly at the smell that wafted into the air, already anticipating a good meal. He nodded and wento off to find Jack, gently scooping him.up from the sink. "What do like so much about the sink, hm?" He asked, bringing the cat to the living room "it'd do you some good to socialize."
Simon’s face got redder. “You act like I’m a four-year-old or something.” Jack purred in Razielle’s arms, rubbing his head against the boy’s chin. Simon turned his attention back to the TV, mostly because he didn’t have anything else to say.”
e.raziekle chuckled lightly and gently nudged Jack's head "alright, alright, if it bothered you so much I'll stop making fun of you. But in all seriousness, thank you." He settled on the couch with Jack in his lap, pulling his counter out opening back up to his research
“What did you find out?” Simon asked, pointing to Razielle’s laptop. “Anything good?”
"mmm, not much, mostly common knowledge so far." He replied, showing Simon his messily scribbled notes and computer screen. "It's odd, really. So much information of a Diety but do any of us really know them?" He sighed softly and shook his head. For what ever reason the Diety had for dissapearing, Razielle had sworn his services to them. He'd trust the Diety until the end. It's all he had known.
Simon pulled his sleeves over his hands. “I don’t know. Sometimes you can just tell if someone is worth your while. The Deity is like that,” he said truthfully.
Razielle nodded slightly "yeah, they are." He sighed softly and started reading through an article he had found while idly petting Jack's head, massaging behind his ears and neck. "Are you ready to talk about what you got from Luc or not yet?" He asked softly, glancing over at Simon. "It's ok if you're still.processing everything, I can keep doing more research." He reassured, waving to his computer and notepad
Simon frowned. "I can take care of myself, Raz." He concentrated a moment to bring up the memory. Lucifer was having some sort of conversation with one of his minions. It was weird because he was seeing it in the first person.
"The Deity isn't in heaven?" Lucifer said, sounding agitated.
Soft murmurs from the minion that Simon couldn't understand.
"How long have they been gone?"
More murmurs.
"Alright. We'll have to do something about it. I don't know what yet. Stay on standby."
Simon opened his eyes, slightly dizzy. He grabbed Raz's shoulder to steady himself, his head spinning.
"sure you can." Raz muttered, writing down a few notes on his note pad and scrolling through the article as Simon recalled the memory.
He glanced up as Simon grabbed his shoulder, brows creasing in worry. He extended his wing to Simon, gently brushing against his back as he held onto his forearm, in case he decided to fall forwards it something
"I'm fine," he said, mostly for Raz's benefit, and not because it was true. He didn't feel too good, but Raz was already weird enough. He pushed himself to his feet. "I'm going to get the lasagna out of the oven," he said, holding his arms out to stay balanced.
Raz let go as Simon stood, not entirely convinced as Simon tried to find his balance. He watched Simon for a few moments to make sure he didn't fall before slowly returning to his research. "I'm assuming he didn't know about the Diety dissapearing either?" He asked, clicking off the article and opened opening another one
"Nope. But he's going down the same route we are. He wants to find the Deity, although for what purpose I'm not sure." He carefully removed the lasagna from the oven and put it on top of the stove. "I'll do my best to stay ahead of him, but I can't promise anything."
"not so sure I want to know the reason. But if it's important enough to concern Lucifer then we should keep our guard up." He replied, taking a few more notes before setting the laptop aside and nuzzling Jack. "You're lucky, you know that? No worry for what's going on around you as long as you get attention and food."
"You're jealous of my cat?" Simon said, slightly amused. "It seems to me, Razielle, that you're getting both food and attention." Simon filled two cups with water and set them on the table. He took a fork out of the drawer and a plate and set them next to the cup, then meticulously cut a piece of lasagna and set it on the plate. He sat opposite the plate and looked at Raz. "Dinner's ready."
"yes, that may be true but at least they don't have to worry about a Diety being gone." He pressed a kiss to Jack's head and gently set him aside. He stood with a smile, settling across from Simon and poking at the lasagna, waiting for it to cool down a bit. "This seriously looks amazing."
"Thank you," Simon said tentatively, unused to compliments. He folded his hands and set them on the table, studying the lines in his skin, rather than looking at Razielle.
