“It is long enough,” Simon said. “C’mere. I’ll do it for you. What’ll you do once it grows out? A man bun?”
“It is long enough,” Simon said. “C’mere. I’ll do it for you. What’ll you do once it grows out? A man bun?”
"and who made you the authority on my hair, hm?" He laughed before looking up at Simon in surprise. He hesitantly got up from his position on the floor, Spooks in his arms. "I'm not sure, I guess if it ever becomes bothersome." He said with a shrug, settling down on the couch with his back to Simon.
"You mess with my hair, I get to mess with yours." Simon began carefully separating Razielle's hair, then started braiding it into two french braids. "Eck. You'd look all preppy with a man bun. I strongly advise against it."
"you really needed a haircut." Raz retorted, stiffening slightly as Simon started to braid his hair, feathers fluffing up in defense. "It's alright, I don't really like man buns anyways. This is the longest I'll let my hair get." He reassured, nudging spooks behind the ears to keep himself distracted from the fact that he liked Simon touching his hair

“I’m not going to rip you hair out, Raz. Relax.” Simon hid a slight smile, secretly pleased that he had that effect on Razielle. “There you go. Turn around, lemme see.”
He exhaled slowly "I know, I'm just not used to- " he shook his head "nevermind." He lightly touched the two small braids before standing and turning around so Simon could see. "How's it look?" He asked, tilting his head
“Much better.” He reached out and tucked a few stray bits away from Razielle’s face. “You look good.”
Raz blushed a deep red as Simon rearranged a few of the stray hairs. "Uhm, t-thank you." He stammered out, remaining deathly still until Simon took his hand back.
"What?" Simon grinned, his eyes glittering. "You're quite welcome. You know, it's very flattering that I have that effect on you."
Raz tried his best to glare but more looked like a pout. "Well at least you're entertained." He huffed a sigh and snuggled in the corner of the couch with Spook.
“Aw, come on. I was mostly joking. Don’t give me that look,” Simon said.
Spook made a ‘rrow’ sound and burrowed into Razielle’s arms, rubbing her head against his chin.
"Oh? So you don't think I look good?" Raz tilted his head innocently and arched an eyebrow at Simon. A small smile spread across his features, and nuzzled spooks back, pressing a soft kiss to her head and wrapping both wings around them. "Wanna join?" He asked softly, extending his wing to Simon.
“I didn’t say that,” Simon said. He flushed slightly at Razielle’s offer and opened and closed his mouth. “. . .I. . . wh-do-“
"you don't have to," he added on, seeing that he had made Simon embarrassed. He wasn't really sure why he had offered in the first place, it wasn't like it was cold or anything in the apartment.
“No- I- you just surprised me.” Simon inched closer, keeping his head angled down in an attempt to hide his blush. He settled in next to Razielle, the other angel’s warmth comforting.
Raz nodded mutely and slowly curled his wing around the other angel. He slowly relaxed and soon started playing with spooks, gently swatting at her paws and ears
“I’m going to go to sleep. . . if you don’t mind. Um.” He glanced at Razielle. He felt safer with Razielle next to him, but he didn’t want to say that.
Raz shook his head "I don't mind, go ahead." He murmured with a slight nod. "I'm not going anywhere." He promised, shifting slightly so they'd all be more comfortable. "Just let me know if you want to sleep somewhere else and we'll move, okay?"
“Yeah. Okay.” Simon rested his head against the back of the couch, his eyes slipping shut within a few seconds. As much as he didn’t want to admit it, he was exhausted, and Razielle was warm and safe. His head listed and came to rest on Razielle’s shoulder as he snored softly, his hands curled in his lap.
"insufferable, stubborn, annoyingly cute angel." Raz murmured softly with a lightly laugh, resting his head again Easton's and slowly drifting off to sleep, hands cradling Spooks.
Simon awoke slowly, his head fuzzy and his vision blurred. He shifted slightly, tucking his knees close to his chest. He sighed and closed his eyes again, trying to go back to sleep and failing. He didn’t get up, drowsy from the warmth that had accumulated between them.
Raz whined softly at being moved, wings fluffing up slightly. He nudged his head against Simon's shoulder, soon returning back to sleep once he was content and comfortable.
Simon held still, not wanting to disturb Razielle. He didn’t think Razielle would ever feel this comfortable around him, but he let Raz do what he wanted.
He trilled softly and yanked a blanket down from the back of the couch for extra warmth. He rested comfortably for the rest of the night, exhausted from the restless nights for the past few days. He was glad he could finally get a full night's if rest, even if it was on the couch
