Quinn frowned. "I am. I don't think it would be wise for you to." he replied, setting the mask down for a moment as he looked over at Tony. "It wouldn't be safe."
Quinn frowned. "I am. I don't think it would be wise for you to." he replied, setting the mask down for a moment as he looked over at Tony. "It wouldn't be safe."
"Ah," Antonio replied making a noise of acknowledgment and realization. It probably wouldn't be smart for him to leave the house, but he also would be extremely bored and curiosity would urge him to go out once more, "Even if I wore some type of mask?"
"Even if. The mask doesn't help much with contagion. It's just so that I don't have to smell the dead and the burning all the time." He replied, turning it so that Tony could see. "There are dried herbs inside."
"Ahhhh, I understand," Antonio nodded a little as he remained composed. Inside he was a little dissapointed, since he would love to see more of the city. To study the state it was in, that was all.
Quinn nodded slightly. "Maybe once I'm done for the day, I can take you to some places. But we'd have to be really careful."
"Of course," Antonio nodded back unable to keep the smile from growing on his face. He looked to Quinn, "I wish you luck out there then."
Quinn smiled faintly. "Yeah. Thanks." he tied the mask on and slipped his boots on, then headed out the door.
Antonio watched him out and then sighed. What to do to keep him from going outside?
(time skip?)
(Sure!)
(Alright! To when?)
(Umm when Quinn comes back?)
(alright. Want me to handle it, then?)
(If you would be so kind.)
(alright)
Quinn wasn't home until around six. He came in the door quietly, looking around to locate Tony before coming any further inside. He would need to change before going anywhere near the other man, since he knew that his clothes could likely carry disease.
Antonio was on the couch reading through some papers. He was keeping them close to himself so it was unlikely that Quinn would have been able to read them unless Quinn was really trying. He also had a pen out scratching out certain bits and writing out notes as well.
"Hey." Quinn greeted to get his attention. "I'm going to go upstairs and change, and then we can figure out what else to do today."
"Oh, hey!" Antonio looked up to see Quinn. He pushed a little smile onto his face, "That sounds like a plan."
Quinn nodded, heading upstairs. He took a quick bath as well, then changed into a more casual set of clothes before coming downstairs.
Antonio put his papers away while Quinn trained and was up on his feet when Quinn came back down. He wasn't sure if Quinn would still be up to going out, but he had hope.
Quinn looked over at him. "So. Where do you want to check first?" He asked. "For your family, I mean. I did some enquiries today, but didn't find anything."
"I don't know the city very well, where do you think we should check?" Antonio asked tilting his head a little though a big grin was on his face.
He thought for a moment. "I…have no idea. Do you know where they were staying?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.
Antonio thought for a moment. Now he was stuck in a lie, where would be a suitable place for his make believe family to live. Eventually he let out a long sigh, "I don't remember. Probably somewhere in the outskirts."
He made a soft sound, rubbing his face with his hands. "Fuck. Okay." he glanced at the door, shaking his head a little. "Okay."
"I'm sorry," Antonio replied a frown slipping onto his face. He felt bad about not having a place to give Quinn, "I really wished I could be more helpful."
"No, it's…the outskirts are so hard to regulate at this point, and…that's where a lot of the crime that happens around here happens. I'd..rather not go there in the evening. It isn't safe." he said, looking over at Tony.
"Ahhh," Antonio nodded realizing it was the place that fucked up not Tony. He kept frowning as he let out a sigh. "That's probably not great since the only time we can go out together is in the evenings correct?"
"Well…" he sighed. "I can take a day off work, but…" he shrugged his shoulders a little bit.
"You really can't," Antonio finished off for him. He hummed in deep thought, "I could be wrong, I just thought that's where they might be. I could also check out the area by myself."
