Antonio trailed after with a smile on his face, "Great!"
Antonio trailed after with a smile on his face, "Great!"
He smiled a little. "Do you have a preference on what you want to eat?" He asked.
"Not really," Antonio admitted with a light shrug, "Whatever you want to make me."
Quinn laughed a little. "Hmm, alright." He replied with a shrug.
"Alright," Antonio repeated with a little nod.
Quinn thought for a moment, trying to figure out what to make.
"Need a hand when you start cooking?" Antono asked him quietly.
"Hmm? Oh. Uhm. I was just going to make some flapjacks?" He said. "If that's alright."
Antonio had no idea what flapjacks were, and figured it might be best to pretend he knew what they were this time, "That's fine with me."
He nodded a little, moving to get out the supplies. "Alright." He replied with a quick smile.
Antonio moved out of his way not knowing how to help in right now. He had a light smile on, "Soo how was your day?"
Quinn continued working. "Same as it always is." He replied with a shrug.
"Which is?" Antonio asked further, "We met yesterday remember?"
"Oh. Right. I just take care of the sick, is all. Sometimes the dead." He shrugged, working on mixing the batter for the flapjacks.
"Oh," Antonio figured that was what he did. At least he wasn't working with the dead often, "That makes sense."
Quinn nodded a little bit. "Yeah." He started up the griddle so it would start warming up.
Antonio was getting really curious as to what these 'flapjacks' were when Quinn grabbed the griddle.
"You've had flapjacks before, yeah?" Quinn asked, raising his eyebrows.
"Yes," Antonio replied with some hesitation. He hadn't, but there was nothing wrong with lying about that. Right? "Okay, maybe not."
Quinn laughed faintly. "They're like pancakes, basically. Essentially the same thing."
"Ohhhh," Antonio replied his eyes widening, "That makes a lot of sense. Now I'm embarrassed about not knowing."
He smiled a little, pouring some batter onto the griddle and getting out a spatula. "Yeah. It's just…you know. Same thing, different words, is all."
"I also don't really think of pnacakes as a dinner thing, but it definitely sounds good," Antonio replied with a smile.
(Sorry for the nonexistant relies today. Was on the road.)
(it's fine!)
He laughed a little. "Ah– yeah, sorry, I'm used to just cooking for me, which means I eat whatever whenever."
"That's fine!" Antonio quickly replied looking at Quinn. He had apologetic smile on as if he had done something wrong, "I guess I have the luxury of having certains foods only for certain times of day."
