Antonio woke up the next morning remembering he would probably have to leave today. Hopefully, Quinn would come with him.
Quinn was already up and in the kitchen, making breakfast, having processed his thoughts during the night.
Antonio gave Quinn a little smile as he walked to the kitchen, "Um, good morning?"
"Good morning." He greeted, not looking up from his food preparations.
Antonio didn't know what to think of his response. On one hand, he got a response, on the other hand, he didn't look at Antonio? Which could be a bad thing?
Quinn let out a breath. "I'll…come with you." He finally said slowly. "If you're sure you want me to."
"I'm sure," Antonio reassured him a smile breaking bigger onto his face, "And I'm glad you'll come with me."
He nodded faintly. "Yeah. It'll be…odd. To leave." He looked around the room. "I've never left Ceridwen before."
"Well, first time for everything right?" Antonio replied in a poor attempt of making a joke to lighten the mood.
"Right. Yeah." He said quietly, raking his hands through his hair and shaking his head. "It's just…odd."
"I, I get that," Antonio watched Quinn for a moment.
Quinn nodded faintly. "I uh, I packed last night, by the way."
"You did?" Antonio perked up slightly, he hadn't been expecting that.
"Yeah. It's not like I had a lot to pack." He shrugged.
Antonio nodded a little bit, "Um, of course."
Quinn glanced around the kitchen. "I should take my extra food to the neighbors, though. So it doesn't get wasted."
"Yeah, and you could say goodbye too?" Antonio replied figuring Quinn would want to do that.
"I'm not close with any of them. Too much disease risk." He said, shaking his head.
"Oh," Antonio replied after a moment's pause, "That, uh, makes sense."
He nodded a little. It was lonely, sometimes, but it was the way he had to live.
Antonio hummed softly as he tried what to say next.
He was quiet, finishing making breakfast.
Antonio continued humming stepping towards Quinn to maybe help out.
"Can you get some plates out?" He asked, glancing over at Tony.
