however many makes you feel happy! you can also snip snip and alter them if you'd like to keep the print but change the type of shirt!
Coolio, thanks!

wear pants that make your legs look longer, walk like you're the shit, and just wear shoes with slightly thicker soles

Oo, I second this, I have fairly broad shoulders and thicc thighs, but like, no hips.
I have found that really long shirts kind of make it look like my hips are where the thiccness starts, which looks pretty nice.

certain clothes work really well with hip dips, as i've found dealing with my own. dresses that are fitted up top but flare the skirts(if they fit your shape and make you feel good), pants with a medium to high rise, longer lined cardigans, and peplum shirts. if the first type of dress doesn't work but you want to wear dresses, just find a fabric that's weighted decently but doesn't cling super tight.
and also remember that hip dips are just a natural formation of your body, and that they're perfectly good looking and not something most people notice or point out

I've also heard that rolling up the cuffs of your pants adds a bit of height

actually you might be right about that, it's a thing i do pretty often for the aesthetic, but it sure doesn't make me look shorter so..
How do I find what colors suit me best?
hey fashion corner how do i make a preppy school uniform look edgy™ or just not like the most awkward outfit in the known universe
roll up sleeves, wear the tie undone, add things like pins and whatnot where you can. wear dark tights/leggings, and accessorize. always. basically, just fuck with it in a way that won't get you in trouble(or at least not a huge amount of trouble) and go from there! you can also look up on pinterest examples of ways to change it
Hey Fashion Corner: I've got a body that's technically a rectangle, but with chub. So basically, very small boobs, not great butt, big thighs and big tummy. Any tips for…idk balancing all that out and making it look better somehow?? I look bottom heavy because of the small chest and it's not fun
so i'd assume you mean more a pear body shape, as opposed to the inverted triangle, which would be larger chest area, and smaller bottom area
first step is squats, if you're wanting a 'better' but. they'll define that shit and your thighs. a trick i use is twenty every time i use the restroom, which is adjustable to how often you go during the day and to what your body can handle.
as for clothing! wear clothes that draw attention to the areas you want it to. goes for anyone. best tops are peplum, square neck, cowl, and boat neck. most straight cut jeans, high waisted, and boot cut are your friend. flat front and slim are very good too!! a-line dresses, fit and flare(mentioned above for hip dips), wraps, and off the shoulder dresses are all going to even out what you want them to. wear cropped jackets to your hearts content, and patterns and textured jackets will be hella
and as always, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. if dressing for your body type helps that, then try shopping for your body type, instead of just pulling whatever you can off the racks to get it over with!
:D thanks Crocs!! And yeah I probably meant pear haha
Um, hi, can I have some advice?
I've got a very rectangular body. Larger boobs, wide hips, and practically no curve in between. I'm also trying to not have a feminine looking body a lot either, and have no access to a binder. Are there any cloths that can help with the hips in particular as well? They're my biggest problem.
swim, you're gonna want longer jackets to make your shoulders look wider, to get that masc vibe to counteract the unfortunate inherent femininity of larger boobs. leave em open to proportionately make the lower body fit that. light jackets with darker bottoms, avoid belts unless they're guy belts, otherwise you'll cinch your waist in and that gives you a more curved shape. kinda what you're avoiding.
try finding men's jeans that fit? it's also strangely easy to alter jeans if they're too big in places, so that's an easy fix. don't wear shirts that hug until you feel like you wont be accentuating your boobs, if you're trying to avoid that. really, biggest thing is, shop in the men's section if you can, and wear flannels. hands down
and in case you gals and other feminine born icons were wondering, this is a good place to check your body shape! a quick google search is really helpful for finding that out, too
Men's jeans also have big pockets!!
