"Yep…always…I know it's suppose to scare me but…after being around you a while…they don't. They're just…unique and in some ways a little pretty…like pools of ink reflecting the true nature of a wesen." he seemed to snap back into focus "Shit sorry I got a bit cheesy there." he chuckled a bit
Meg couldn't help but laugh a little at the description. ”Yeah, you kinda did.” she agreed. ”But it wasn't the worst thing I’ve ever heard.” she told him, groaning a little as her scratch stung again from her smile. ”In case you were wondering, Zorro, my eyes are kind of a nutty brown.”
"Nice…well it's right here down this street." Theo told her as he pointed to an older apartment building complex
Meg nodded and pulled up in front of the building he pointed out. She turned off her car and grabbed her bag as she got out, waiting for Theo to close his door before locking it up.
Theo exited and shut the door behind him, fishing his apartment key from his pocket. "It's only on the second floor so I just walk up."
”That’s fine with me.” Meg told him as she followed him to the door. Just because she was in unfamiliar territory, she kept her head down. Not just to hide the scratches but she didn't know how many Wesen may live in this building and she didn't want to cause a panic.
Theo soon was standing outside his apartment and turned the key in his lock. He opened the door and motioned for her to get inside. It was a tiny apartment with a kitchen, a little living room and a door down a narrow hall.
Meg glanced around the hallway before quickly entering Theo’s home and shutting the door behind her. Now feeling a bit safer, she was able to relax again and looked around the apartment a little. ”Nice place.”
"eh it's alright." he responded "Let me go get some stuff. Sit down and relax." Theo said as he entered the small hall and opened the door, revealing a bit of his messy room. His bathroom was connected to his room apparently as he came back out with some things to clean her scratches.
She nodded and took off her jacket as she sat down on the couch, not looking down the hall. ”Thanks. Second time you helped me in a fight.” she chuckled as she saw him coming back.
He dipped a cotton ball in some isopropyl alcohol and asked Meg to stay still as he softly cleaned out her scratches "I think you know this'll sting a bit, and it's no problem you were the one to help me this time."
”Yeah.” she nodded briefly, keeping the movement small before holding still. ”Well, like I said, I just had a feeling that I needed to come back.”
"Well…" he took out one of the butterfly bandages on her cuts to help them close quicker before lastly applying a large pad bandage "…I'm happy to have met you…sure glad too."
She nodded a little as he finished with the bandages. ”I… I’m glad to have met you too, Theo.” she said softly. ”You’re a pretty good person yourself.”
"Thank you…now let's see…" traced where he had put the bandage to make sure it was secure "Alright that should heal up nicely."
She smiled a little, careful of the bandage. ”Thanks… again.” she chuckled, shaking her head briefly. ”You… You should probably get some ice for that bruise.” she reminded him.
He nodded and went over to a drawer and then filled a little bag with ice, pressing it to his his cheek "I was more worried about your open wound to be honest." Theo admitted as a dull ache went through the side of his face
”Don’t blame you. For all I know, that guy could've had some of that liver drug under his nails when he scratched me.” she agreed, chuckling a little. ”Hope he actually reads the note I left him.”
"What'd it say?" he asked as he went into the kitchen and started to go through his freezer
”For your own sake, get out of business. G.” she answered with a shrug. ”I know that could sound like a threat, but I’m not going to go after him. He can take it however he wants as long as it gets the message across.”
"well good…you really are a different Grimm then the stories I was told" he said as he pressed a cool pack against his face now
”I hope so.” she sighed. ”I don't want to be known as just a narrow-minded killer.” she admitted, wondering if she should leave now or stay a little longer.
"well I think I'm good here but if you wanted anything to eat or anything I got some leftovers." He offered as he winced, the ache annoying more than anything else.
Meg looked up at him and shook her head. ”Oh, no. I couldn't. You've already done enough for me.” she said, standing up. ”I really appreciate everything but I should probably get going and just see you tomorrow at work.”
"Well bye them." he said, holding his hand out again "See you tomorrow then."
She smiled a little and shook his hand. ”See you tomorrow, boss.” she told him before heading to the door.
wow who knew I'd end up befriending and even becoming a temporary boss for a Grimm? Theo thought as he opened the door for Meg, saying one last goodbye as he softly closed and bolted the door behind her
Meg smiled at him and waited until she heard the door lock before heading back to her car. She wanted to be sure that he would be safe this time. It kind of made her feel bad that he got attacked, it felt like it was her fault. She sighed a little in minor frustration as she climbed in her car and started home.
Soon enough Theo was ready to slumber again as he had gotten fully ready. Strangely enough his dreams didn't really make that much sense until he dreamt about Meg, looking to her eyes and seeing her nutty brown eyes instead of the pools of black he always saw from her
After Meg finally made it home and had a light dinner, she jotted down a brief journal entry about the new information she learned. Before she went to bed she started two quick sketches. One of herself from a recent picture, though it was going to be her from a Wesen perspective with blacked out eyes. The second one was of Theo. However, she was having a hard time deciding which side of him she was going to draw; the man or the Fuchsbau.
