I wrapped my arms around her middle, leaning against the trunk of the tree.
“Of course I did,” I replied quietly. “Why wouldn’t I?”
I wrapped my arms around her middle, leaning against the trunk of the tree.
“Of course I did,” I replied quietly. “Why wouldn’t I?”
"Just checking…" A chilly breeze brushed against the bare skin of my upper back, causing me to shiver and press closer to my boyfriend. "You look very attractive, as always."
I wrapped my arms around her tighter, proving her warmth. I let my body heat up so she didn’t feel cold. “Thank you, Elle. I have to be attractive for you, you know.”
"Psh, no you don't." I chuckled dryly. "You surpass me every day without trying. And no, you're not allowed to argue with me, my statement is final. Let's talk about something else."
I rolled my eyes, but obeyed nonetheless. We both knew who the winner would be, but I’d let her think she silenced me.
“Like what?” I said instead, rubbing her back with slow circles.
I pressed back against his hand, enjoying the soft caresses. "Mm, I don't know. I thought you were going to 'show me what's funny'?"
I twisted so she was beneath me, pinning her on the ground, a smirk on my features.
“Thank you for reminding me, Elle,” I murmured, trailing her lips with my finger. “I’d nearly forgotten.”
A quiet cry of surprise slipped from my mouth as I found myself pinned beneath Colton, unable to move or squirm away from his relentless teasing. "N-No problem," I stammered unsteadily, wrapping my arms around his middle.
I leaned closer until our lips were barely touching, and then I let a smirk trace my lips.
“I suppose you like having yourself in this position, don’t you?” I teased her. “Tell me what you want, and perhaps I won’t tease you. Much.”
My heart pounded furiously in my chest.
"I—I want you to kiss me. Please?" It was clear to us both how completely I was wrapped around his little finger at the moment, ready to obey his every whim if he would only kiss me.
I hummed as if I was contemplating it.
“You might mess up my hair, though,” I frowned, loving the way she reacted to me. “We don’t want that, do we?”
"I won't touch your hair!" I promised hastily, beginning to tangle our legs together as if trying to bait him into kissing me. "C'mon, Cole. You wouldn't want to disappoint your girlfriend, would you?"
My eyes dropped slowly, darkening when she tangled our legs together.
“No, I certainly wouldn’t,” I whispered before lowering my head and finally placing my lips on hers.
My mouth met his with eagerness, and despite the fact that we'd been kissing less than half an hour ago, I found that I was absolutely ravenous for the taste of his soft lips. "Good…."
I pressed against her, kissing her harder and softly at the same time. I devoured her mouth with extreme hunger, but kept up the boundaries until she passed them herself. God, I missed this. I felt like I had been starving—and we had kissed not too long ago. She was driving me insane, and that type of insanity I didn’t mind at all.
Overwhelmed by the sudden rush of euphoria, I attempted to slow the kiss down, still maintaining the fiery passion, but choosing instead to draw it out. "Colton…" I murmured against his lips, already drunk on the taste of them. "You're driving me crazy…"
I set my hand on her cheek, rubbing my thumb against it softly. I breathed against her mouth, letting a small groan escape my lips.
“So are you,” I growled. “Every single second, you drive me crazy.”
"I—" My mouth went dry. Swallowing hastily, I scrambled to recover the crumbling remains of my composure. "I'm glad—It means I've been achieving my goal"
“You sure are,” I murmured, resting my palms on the ground to stabilize myself further. I pulled away from her and took deep breaths, trembling from the effect of the kiss. “Get rid of the illusion.”
My eyes widened in surprised. "But–Colton, we're in plain sight. If someone walks by—"
I let out a hiss. She was right. We could get caught.
“I hate this,” I hissed, shaking my head. “I want to be able to kiss you, not some illusion of yours. I want to be able to look at your flushed cheeks and swollen lips after I’m done with you, not some illusion.”
I swallowed thickly.
"We'll just have to make do…" I murmured eventually, though my voice wobbled dangerously. "You can kiss me when we get back to your room."
“Well then,” I started in a dangerous tone. “I suppose I have to bid Isabella goodbye now, don’t I?”
My blush deepened as a breathless grin overtook my lips. "Patience, Cole, we're still outside. Wait until we're in your room."
I offered her a smirk.
“Oh, no, darling,” I murmured. “We’re going to have to bid Isabella goodbye at the door. Wouldn’t people be surprised if she went into my room and Elliot would come out?”
