"Thinking 'bout what?" He asked playfully.

"Oh…. My pathetic ability to participate in a relationship," Lee muttered, flushing a bit. "I just don't know how to keep other people content while they're with me…" Not that I've ever been in one in the first place…

"Well the first step is taking the plunge and telling them how you feel." He said calmly. "After that you more or less go by instinct. At least that's what a friend of mine told me."

"See… That's the thing…." I'm always scared of that plunge…. No matter who I'm with… "I just don't know if I'll ever be able to do it since I've always been such a coward…"

"Coward or not It's a plunge that must be taken." said Silver, "Just think.. the rest is easy after that!"

"I know…." Lee said quietly. "I just need to learn that…" He tapped his shoe on the ground a little bit. I can just ease it out over dinner, probably…. Or I can plunge before he leaves… I don't know!!! I have to think of something, though…

Silver smiled, watching him as always, Darn it why does he have to be so adorable?!

Lee glanced over at Silver and grinned softly. "I'll figure it out – don't worry…" And I only have at least an hour or forty minutes or so…. He thought, biting his lip.

Silver smiled at him, doing his best not to melt under the other's grin. Darn it all, He's got me… and he's got me good.

Lee grinned back at Silver, crossing his other leg over the other. He's just smiling at me… He glanced at the grill, making sure it doesn't burst into flames or something before looking back at him. …Still smiling….

Silver sighed, he was tempted to use Wolf's Bond to speed things up, things were getting a bit awkward. Silver's eyes locked on Lee again, unable to take them off the other, serving only to confirm the factthat Silver had fallen for him very hard, and very fast.

(I knowwww but they've only known each other for like a day….)

Lee winked at him before turning to check on the coals. I suppose I can give myself a break… Turn loose a little bit… He opened the compartment and felt its heat. "I bet we're ready to slap that chicken on here… Do you wanna go get it?" He glanced back at Silver, and couldn't help but grin.

Silver nodded, relieved to actually do something as he slipped inside to get it. Hoisting up the tray he carefully brought it outside. "One Chicken ready to roast!" he announced playfully.
(Technically it's been 2 days….)

(Oh…. Well two days still isn't a whole lot… And I do like to take romances a bit easily….)

"That's good!" Lee grabbed the tray, merely brushing Silver's hands as he brought it into his own and set it down. "The chicken is already clean, so we can just put it straight on!" Lee used the tongs and part of his hand to put the chicken breast, wing, leg and thigh on the grill. "Perfect!"

Silver grinned, his fingers twitching where Lee's had brushed them. Grinning he carefully slipped the tray up onto the porch railing, watching the flames, and Lee.

Lee glanced around the grill for a second before looking back at Silver. "I suppose we should get some corn and peas or something to go with it…." He shifted his weight a little bit. "I'll go and grab them, just make sure the chicken doesn't burn or something, alright? I'll be back in a second."

Silver nodded, "I'm not gonna let this burn alright?" he said laughing. Fixing his attention on the chicken, occasionally flipping it.

Lee headed inside and went to his food storage. The peas will have to cook on the stove, but the corn I can grill with the chicken… He took some out of his supply and grabbed some corn ears. I'll have to clean this and strip it and all of that. Unless Silver knows how…
Lee set the food on the counter and came back out. "If you want, you can clean the corn and prepare it for grilling – assuming you know how to," He told Silver.

Silver rolled his eyes, "Even a complete idiot should know how to do that!" he laughed, "Where is it? I'll get it done in a jiff"

"Oh – Heh…." I can't believe I thought he couldn't clean corn…. He smiled sheepishly. "It's in the kitchen on the counter. And the peas need to be cooked on the stove, so if you could do that, that would be amazing…." Lee went to flip the chicken, finally seeing a faint print of grill marks on the chicken. Perfect….

Silver nodded, "I'll leave that to you then" he said, pointing to the chicken as he went inside to deal with the corn.

Lee smiled, a stinging flush coming to his face. He's just so caring…. He flipped the chicken several times as time went by, and he began to even daydream a little bit. I mean…. With the two of us, our cooking can be practically perfection!…. But he is also somewhat hot…. A smirked turned up on his face. Oh, listen to me…. Saying how hot Silver is…. He shifted. ….I ain't lying….

(Agghhh… second time another character has described Silver as hot)
Silver hummed quietly to himself as he cleaned the corn, keeping one eye on the pot of boiling peas.

(Oofahcn lol dunno if that's good or not…)

Lee went on with his business, flipping the chicken. Who knows if he'll be okay with that…. I bet he needs to go home anyways…. He set the tongs down and dipped a clean culinary brush in some marinade and saucy stuff and brushed in on the chicken for its final preparation. He let the scent of the chicken fill him up, and he took a deep breath. This smells absolutely delicious…. I can't wait to eat…

(That's awesome cause it gives me weird stuff to do with him in the books!)
Silver's mouth watered as the smell of the chicken wafted indoors, Wow that smells good…. He finished with the corn, lowering the heat on the pot since the peas were almost done. Heading outside with the corn, a huge grin on his face.

"Ah! There it is – the corn…." Lee handled the plate of corn, again, brushing Silver's hand consciously. "Thanks for washing it… It would probably take me twice as long to make all this food if I was by myself…" He carefully removed the finished chicken and put it on a clean plate that was waiting for it, and put the corn on. "It shouldn't take long from here…"

Silver nodded, his fingers tingling again. "I'm gonna go keep an eye on the peas so they don't boil over or something" he said,

"Oh, of course…." Lee said happily with a grin. "Go right ahead." He couldn't help but smile as he turned the corn over a little. I just can't believe he's asked to leave yet….

Silver slipped back inside, running his fingers through his hair absentmindedly. Why…… Why….. Why is he so cute?! he thought, stirring the peas.

Lee turned the corn over for several minutes, sprinkling some premixed spices and stuff (dunno if premixed is a word….) on the corn as it was being grilled. I don't know how much I can take before my heart explodes…. After finishing the corn, he plated it back up and turned the fuse off, opening the compartment to cool them off naturally. He went inside and set the stuff on the table. "The chicken and the corn are ready," He called.
