"It's not entirely your fault…" Lee said softly, bouncing his panting dog in his arm. "If I was more open, I'm pretty sure we'd be in an entirely different place…"
"It's not entirely your fault…" Lee said softly, bouncing his panting dog in his arm. "If I was more open, I'm pretty sure we'd be in an entirely different place…"
"Yeah.. but I took it too far,," said Silver. "Never meant to upset you…"
"It's fine… I'm sure we all make mistakes…." Lee set Max down since his arms were getting tired, and the dog ran over.to Silver, licking him on the face.
Lee laughed. "See? Even Max forgives you!"
(Just go with it, lol)
Silver laughed, petting the dog, "Yeah.. I guess he does"
Lee let out an awkward breath. "Well… I'm getting all hot out here, I think I'll head inside…. You coming?"
Max jumped up and went to Lee's side immediately, barking at Silver to come with them.
Silver got up, his clothes still a bit damp as he followed Lee inside, closing the door behind him. Ruffling the dogs fur he knelt to scratch behind the dogs ears.
Max glanced backwards and up at Silver cutely, his tongue hanging half out of his mouth.
Lee headed into the living room and had a seat on the couch. "If you want me to I can get you clean clothes while I dry those ones for you."
Silver looked up at him, "It's fine, they'll dry eventually," he said, "And they'll keep me cool while they do"
(Whaaa is silver on the floor??? Because how can you look up at someone that's sitting down??? Looool)
"That's alright then…." Lee kicked his feet up and patted his lap, and Max scrabbled onto the couch, resting his head on his lap. Lee began stroking his soft fur, relaxing. That was sure a hectic moment… He thought.
(Silver is bent over scratching the dog's ears…)
Silver stood when the dog left him, "That's a loyal pet you have there." he said, sitting crosslegged on the floor so he wouldn't get the furniture wet.
(Oh lol right… But still…. Eh forget it I get nitpicky like that just ignore me.)
Lee nodded, laxly petting Max's ears. "Yeah… I met him on the street where I was selling my food…" He scratched his head. "It was about a year ago when he walked up to me, smelling my food, and I just decided to give him some raw bacon or something. After I went home, I realized he followed me, and…. I guess he became my pet. A good one, too."
"he's a good dog." said Silver, smiling at the furry lump on Lee's lap. "I wonder who was stupid enough to put him on the streets.
"I know. People really can be mean like that… I mean – even if they release them because it's for the person's own benefit since they can't take care of them anymore, I feel like putting them on the streets isn't the answer…" Lee leaned down and gave Max a so-called 'kiss' on the dog's head. "I'm sure he would've died if I hadn't taken him in…."
Silver smiled, he liked this guy more by the second. "Lucky him for meeting you"
"Oh of course – and he has a good place in this household. Rounding sheep is the main one besides keeping me company in the house." Lee chuckled when his tail started thumping and he glanced up at him.
Silver laughed, "Good for him" he said, watching Lee's face, Stars I think I've fallen for him….
"Yeah… He's quite the lucky boy, aren't you??" He said cutely as Max touched noses with him. "Yes you are…" He whispered to him. I bet I'm making a fool outta myself… He naturally sat back and continued to pet him. "And every day he'll catch me relaxing on the couch and he'll lay on my lap like this and ask for pets." Lee added, grinning.
"He knows where to go!" said Silver, grinning, "smart boy knows you'll indulge him."
Lee sighed, still petting Max. "…I would get up to take a shower or something to relax, but I don't want to disturb him. Much like a cat, I suppose…"
"Hey I'd pet him if he'd let me!" said Silver, laughing.
"Well, try it! Come over and pet him!" Lee nodded at Max. "As long as I'm here, he isn't going anywhere…." He smirked.
Silver rolled his eyes, coming over to stroke the dog's soft fur. He knew for a fact it wasn't as soft or thick as his own, but it was soft nonetheless.
The two of them sat across from one another, petting Max's fur. "See? He's being a good sport about it…" Lee smiled, imagining that if Max was a cat that he would be purring loud enough to make the windows vibrate. Gosh we're so close…
Silver smiled, leaning against the side of the chair, absentmindedly considering petting Lee too.
(Dawwwweeee :3)
Lee continued to pet Max. "Do you have any pets? I feel like you're that kind of person," He said softly.
