Silver nodded, "I'll leave that to you then" he said, pointing to the chicken as he went inside to deal with the corn.
Silver nodded, "I'll leave that to you then" he said, pointing to the chicken as he went inside to deal with the corn.
Lee smiled, a stinging flush coming to his face. He's just so caring…. He flipped the chicken several times as time went by, and he began to even daydream a little bit. I mean…. With the two of us, our cooking can be practically perfection!…. But he is also somewhat hot…. A smirked turned up on his face. Oh, listen to me…. Saying how hot Silver is…. He shifted. ….I ain't lying….
(Agghhh… second time another character has described Silver as hot)
Silver hummed quietly to himself as he cleaned the corn, keeping one eye on the pot of boiling peas.
(Oofahcn lol dunno if that's good or not…)
Lee went on with his business, flipping the chicken. Who knows if he'll be okay with that…. I bet he needs to go home anyways…. He set the tongs down and dipped a clean culinary brush in some marinade and saucy stuff and brushed in on the chicken for its final preparation. He let the scent of the chicken fill him up, and he took a deep breath. This smells absolutely delicious…. I can't wait to eat…
(That's awesome cause it gives me weird stuff to do with him in the books!)
Silver's mouth watered as the smell of the chicken wafted indoors, Wow that smells good…. He finished with the corn, lowering the heat on the pot since the peas were almost done. Heading outside with the corn, a huge grin on his face.
"Ah! There it is – the corn…." Lee handled the plate of corn, again, brushing Silver's hand consciously. "Thanks for washing it… It would probably take me twice as long to make all this food if I was by myself…" He carefully removed the finished chicken and put it on a clean plate that was waiting for it, and put the corn on. "It shouldn't take long from here…"
Silver nodded, his fingers tingling again. "I'm gonna go keep an eye on the peas so they don't boil over or something" he said,
"Oh, of course…." Lee said happily with a grin. "Go right ahead." He couldn't help but smile as he turned the corn over a little. I just can't believe he's asked to leave yet….
Silver slipped back inside, running his fingers through his hair absentmindedly. Why…… Why….. Why is he so cute?! he thought, stirring the peas.
Lee turned the corn over for several minutes, sprinkling some premixed spices and stuff (dunno if premixed is a word….) on the corn as it was being grilled. I don't know how much I can take before my heart explodes…. After finishing the corn, he plated it back up and turned the fuse off, opening the compartment to cool them off naturally. He went inside and set the stuff on the table. "The chicken and the corn are ready," He called.
Silver smiled, "Good" he said, "the peas are done and I'm starving!"
Lee chuckled, "I am too, to be honest with you…" He headed into the kitchen and began grabbing silverware, plates and glasses to set on the table. "I'm sure it's a matter of minutes…"
Silver quickly drained the water from the peas, placing them in a bowl and heading over to the table. "We make a pretty good feast" he commented.
Lee pulled a chair back and sat down after setting the dinnerware in place. "I would say the same thing. It isn't a whole lot, yet it'll be enough to satisfy my stomach until bedtime…"
Silver grinned, pulling up the chair across from him, "I would hope so cause this looks amazing"
"Well thanks," Lee said, grinning. "I suppose we can dig in, shall we?"
Max came trotting in from his nap on tbe couch and lied down on the floor next to Lee, waiting for the scraps to fall off the table.
Silver grinned when he saw Max come over. "I think we shall" he said, "And possibly feed Max while we're at it." he helped himself to some of the food,
Lee laughed, "If anything falls on the floor, then he can have it, but I don't deliberately feed him human food – it isn't all too healthy for him…." He reached and grabbed a chicken thigh with his fork. "But anything that falls, goes."
Silver laughed, "Well I doubt he's gonna get anything from me then.." said Silver, helping himself to the peas.
"If you're careful…" Lee began to serve some peas to himself and grabbed an ear of seasoned corn, and began to eat. "If he doesn't get any, I drop a sliver or two in his bowl afterwards…."
Silver smiled, digging into his own food wordlessly, forcing himself to eat politely rather than let his wolf side show through.
Lee picked up his corn and began to eat diligently and silently. It was incredily delicious, and the spices added an extra kick to the corn's corny taste. Even I deserve a little credit… This is really good… Out of this world, maybe.
Silver smiled, enjoying the meal quite thoroughly. Finishing off his share of the corn he moved onto the chicken, loving every bite.
Lee had finished his corn, and he was sad there was no more. If I knew how hungry I was, then I would've cooked more…. He glanced over at Silver. "I see that you're enjoying this quite a bit…." He said with a grin.
"Well of course!" said Silver, pausing for a moment, "I'm not sure what you put on the corn but it tastes amazing." another reason to let myself fall for him…
