(Oh lol right… But still…. Eh forget it I get nitpicky like that just ignore me.)
Lee nodded, laxly petting Max's ears. "Yeah… I met him on the street where I was selling my food…" He scratched his head. "It was about a year ago when he walked up to me, smelling my food, and I just decided to give him some raw bacon or something. After I went home, I realized he followed me, and…. I guess he became my pet. A good one, too."
"he's a good dog." said Silver, smiling at the furry lump on Lee's lap. "I wonder who was stupid enough to put him on the streets.
"I know. People really can be mean like that… I mean – even if they release them because it's for the person's own benefit since they can't take care of them anymore, I feel like putting them on the streets isn't the answer…" Lee leaned down and gave Max a so-called 'kiss' on the dog's head. "I'm sure he would've died if I hadn't taken him in…."
Silver smiled, he liked this guy more by the second. "Lucky him for meeting you"
"Oh of course – and he has a good place in this household. Rounding sheep is the main one besides keeping me company in the house." Lee chuckled when his tail started thumping and he glanced up at him.
Silver laughed, "Good for him" he said, watching Lee's face, Stars I think I've fallen for him….
"Yeah… He's quite the lucky boy, aren't you??" He said cutely as Max touched noses with him. "Yes you are…" He whispered to him. I bet I'm making a fool outta myself… He naturally sat back and continued to pet him. "And every day he'll catch me relaxing on the couch and he'll lay on my lap like this and ask for pets." Lee added, grinning.
"He knows where to go!" said Silver, grinning, "smart boy knows you'll indulge him."
Lee sighed, still petting Max. "…I would get up to take a shower or something to relax, but I don't want to disturb him. Much like a cat, I suppose…"
"Hey I'd pet him if he'd let me!" said Silver, laughing.
"Well, try it! Come over and pet him!" Lee nodded at Max. "As long as I'm here, he isn't going anywhere…." He smirked.
Silver rolled his eyes, coming over to stroke the dog's soft fur. He knew for a fact it wasn't as soft or thick as his own, but it was soft nonetheless.
The two of them sat across from one another, petting Max's fur. "See? He's being a good sport about it…" Lee smiled, imagining that if Max was a cat that he would be purring loud enough to make the windows vibrate. Gosh we're so close…
Silver smiled, leaning against the side of the chair, absentmindedly considering petting Lee too.
(Dawwwweeee :3)
Lee continued to pet Max. "Do you have any pets? I feel like you're that kind of person," He said softly.
"Actually I don't." Said Silver, "Cats don't like me, and dogs are usually wary, and rabbits are out of the question." For very obvious reasons. he thought wryly.
"Hm…. I guess I was wrong…" He sighed. And there's nothing wrong with that…. Except that making assumptions are not really alright…
"Hey." said Silver, "It was a good guess, I probably would have pets if not for other reasons." Like being half Wolf
"Hm? Allergies???" Lee asked, raising his brows. "Or…. Is it something secretive?" Not that I'm trying to confide you…
Silver shook his head, "More of a…. hmm…." he tried to think of a way to say it, "Well, the truth would surprise you…" he said finally, unable to think of a good analogy. "I'd be happy to show you sometime, though maybe not around Matt."
(Typo???)
"Oh, of course… Yet that'll be hard to pull off since he follows me nearly everywhere around the house." He chuckled. "Yet I don't mean to push you if it's something private."
"Most people who know me know about it so it's not private." said Silver. "It's just a bit harder to explain if you aren't familiar with magic users."
(no typos….)
(Awkward….. I thought you meant Max not Matt ooshccnngnf whatever ignore it)
Lee shrugged. "Well, as long as it's alright with you, then okay…." He glanced down, and Max had his eyes closed, cutely sleeping peacefully on his lap. "Oh, look at that – he's asleep…" Lee whispered quietly.
(Oof… I thought the dogs name was Matt….. XD Facepalm…)
Silver grinned, "I guess he really likes being petted."
(Hahhccng they're so closeeeeeee…)
(And yes the dog's name is Max, :3)
Lee let out a soft sigh. "He's so adorable when he sleeps… As all cute animals are…." I should check on my clothes in the dryer…. He thought randomly.
Silver placed a hand on Lee's shoulder, studying the dog's breathing. "I have to say I agree with you."
Lee grinned brightly. "Well of course – who wouldn't?" He scratched the space between Max's eyes, and he moaned lowly with gratitude.
"He's just so cute…" He said happily.
Silver smiled, watching Lee carefully, his arm snaking round the other's shoulders. "Yes he is" he said, not entirely talking about the dog.
Lee continued to pet Max, and not a moment too soon did he feel Silver's hand sneak around his back. He tried to let it go, not thinking too much about it. "Honestly I bet I'll n– never have a better dog than Max," He said, stuttering at Silver's closeness.
