A purr rumbled throughout Jas's chest as Connor ran his hands through his hair and touched his face. "I would have hoped you would have said yes." He mumbled back, gently crushing Connor against his form as they kissed, pulling him into his embrace. He dug his hands into Connor's hair, nodding his head along to the kiss, deepening it ever so slightly. He purred deeply into each kiss, never wanting to let Connor go. They broke away eventually to catch their breath but Jas was glad that Connor stayed close. "Sorry?" He whispered, brows furrowed in confusion. "Whatever for my heart and soul?" He pressed tiny kisses to Connor's lips and face. "If it's for the kiss, then don't be, I will gladly accept any and all affection you give me, no matter what I'm feeling in the moment."
Connor huffed a laugh. "I didn't know heart and soul was a part of your pet name vocabulary." he smiled from the small kisses, pushing against the ones of his lips, so they could last longer. "I'm sorry for everything. I seriously don't know how you could still love me. I'm horrible. I know I already said it, but I don't deserve you. Even though all of that every time I kiss you it feels like fireworks. Even if you had a life sentence it wouldn't feel like a win. At that point, every day would feel so dull without you in it." Connor moved Jas's hand to his chest so he could feel his heartbeat. "I don't know why, but if you weren't here to cause me trouble or give me those funny remarks I…I don't know what I would do. It's crazy that you felt this was for decades on end. I never once ever told you that I loved you back until now. I'm sorry for that." Connor connected their lips once more, feeling fire works like he said he did as his heart would beat faster than it already was.
Jas shook his head, already thinking of a million things to say that would prove Connor wrong. He gently cupped Connor's cheek lightly patiently pressing kisses to his features as he spoke. He lightly rested his hand on Connor's chest and smiled softly, feeling his rapid heartbeat at his fingertips, matching his own. "Connor, if you knew even half the things I've done in my lives, I'm fairly certain you'd take half those things you just said back. It is I who don't deserve you my hero. I will spend the rest of my lives proving to you I'm better than that." He sighed softly and pressed into the kiss, dragged Connor against his chest and holding him as close as he could, ignoring the dinging of his phone.
He loved how close they were, it made warmth they shared even warmer on a cold night like this. Connor tried to ignore the ringing, but it was too loud and distracting. He pulled away reluctantly, still holding himself close to Jas. "You should…uh…" Connor was slightly out of breath from this kiss. "You should answer…th-that." Connor leaned his head back on Jas's shoulder. Instead, he kissed his cheek as Jas did for him. "It's probably the…" Connor forgot what he was going to say so he snapped his fingers to help him remember. "The…the food! Right, the food." Connor felt embarrassed that it took him that long to finish his sentence.
Jas laughed softly and tucked Connor under his chin. "I didn't know temporary loss of memory die to kissing was one of my abilities." He teased, picking up the call and speaking for a few moments. "Alright, I'll be down in a few minutes." He replied, hanging the phone up and setting it aside. " Ready for some food?" He asked with a sigh. "Next time, I'll need to choose a shorter building. I hadn't taken into consideration how many stairs I'd have to climb." He chuckled and reluctantly detabgled himself from Connor and the warmth. "I'll be right back with some pizza."
Connor felt the heat rise to his cheeks. "It's only when you kiss me that I get like that," he mumbled. He moved off Jas letting him get up easier. "Take your time." He smiled and waved and watched Jas go get the food. sighed and looked around the display that Jas had set up. Connor combed through his hair with a deep sigh. He stood up and walked the edge and leaned towards looking at the stars. He still had the blanket wrapped over him because he was cold. He was the type to get cold easily and he already missed Jas's warmth being with him.
Jas took a few flights down some stairs before he realized he could just teleport. In the whirlwind of emotions and the heated kiss, Jas had momentarily forgotten he could do that. With a laugh he jumped into a crack in the world, appearing a few stories before the main entrance so he didn’t scare the poor delivery boy who had driven all the way out here, as well as to grab some money to pay with.
"uhm, you do know this place is abandoned, right?" The delivery guy said as a way of greeting, eyes widening as he took in Jas's appearance. Jas merely gave the man a shrug and handed him off the cash and tip. "I do." He thanked him for the pizza and made his way back up the stairs, checking every few stories to make sure the delivery guy had trueoy left before teleporting back up to the roof tops.
Connor looked out into the stars. His hearing picked up Jas's footsteps so he turned around. He licked his lips, seeing the pizza box in his hands. He took light steps, shuffling over to where Jas stood. Connor leaned on his shoulder, slightly shivering. He often got cold like this hence why he was always wearing pants or a coat. He nuzzled his head against Jas's shoulder. He took in a deep breath and smiled. "Smells good. I haven't had pizza in a while. I mostly get take-out when I don't feel like cooking. Which is much more often than you would think. Say…if you can't cook what do you eat every day?" He rubbed his own shoulders. "I'm really glad you brought a blanket or else I would've been frozen by now."
Jas glanced over at Connor, feeling his shivers against his arm. He balanced the pizza on one hand while he wrapped his now free arm around Connor, pulling him to his side. "So you're telling me, you eat more take-out than you cook and still look this beautiful." Jas shook his head with a smile and gently pulled Connor over to a small table beneath the tarps he had set up as tents. "I can cook. Just not well. I don't really notice the burn taste anymore so it's not that bad for me. Apparently to everyone else, it's not something they can overlook." He shrugged and let go of Connir for a moment to to set the pizza down and bring over pillows so that they could sit on the ground to eat. He patted the spot beside him, offering another blanket for Connor.
Connor gave a blushed smile before sitting down next to Jas. He refused the offer for another blanket. "Oh no, I don't need another blanket. You seem warmer than another blanket. It's just I was so comfortable and warm sitting with you and when you left it felt cold again. I just need to get used to you again." He reached over the box, taking out a slice of pizza, and started eating it carefully. He didn't want to burn his mouth while he ate it since it came out fresh. "I seriously don't know how you stand the burnt taste. Why not just stack your pantry of cup noodles. There is no way anyone could mess up cup noodles or the small ramen packs." he swallowed a large piece. "hmm do you have drinks?" his words were slightly muffled from his chewing, so he covered his mouth while he did so. He looked at Jas and realized he wasn't wearing a blanket. "Are you cold? We share if you are."
Jas arched an eyebrow with a smile and set his slice of pizza down. He shifted slightly and pulled Connor back into his lap. "There, now you'll be warm." He pressed a kiss to Connor's cheek and went back to eating his slice of pizza. "I do, that's one of the few things I can cook without burning but I can't eat that all the time." He said with a laugh. "In all the lives we've lived, you would have thought our cooking skills would be better." He glanced down at Connor and nodded "yeah, they're in the back. What would you like?" He asked. "I think we have some sodas, water, and juice." He shook his head and nuzzled Connor's neck. "I'm okay. Your warmth us enough."
Connor closed his eyes from the kiss on his cheek. He relaxed his Jas's arms. "I hate that you can pick me up so easily," He chewed the pizza quietly. Connor had finished his slice before talking again. "Even if that is the only thing you could cook it's better to eat that than burned food every day. I know that all of the carbs and things I'm eating with catch up to be someday but for the right not I still look hot and that's okay with me." He raised an eyebrow looking back at Jas. "What do you mean by our cooking you mean your cooking, my cook is amazing according to everyone including you." He flinched when Jas nuzzled into his neck. "You can't just do that so casually kitty." Connor lifted Jas's head and kissed his nose before getting to get himself a bottle of water. "Would you like anything from here?" he called.
"and how do you think I feel when you scoop be up in my car firm, hm?" He retorted with a smirk, pressing soft kiss to Connor's neck before finally going back to eating. He gave an appreciative purr at the kiss before reluctantly letting Connor go to grab a drink. "A grape soda please." He said, taking the chance to eat while Connor wasn't distracting him. "Then if you're such a wonderful cook then maybe you could teach me some day, love?" He mused, stretching out his back and arms, a soft meow escaping him. "You could never qlook anything but hot to me, dearest." He winked and took one last slice of pizza
Connor's face turned completely red when Jas kissed his neck. "Oh shush." Connor grabbed a grape soda Jas had requested. He placed the soda and water on the table gently. "Thank you kitty," he smirked himself from the wink but paused when he sat back down in Jas's lap. "Did you just…Did you just meow? You so did. You can do that?" Connor took another slice of pizza well. He took one bite before he started drinking his water. Once he was done he looked at Jas curiously. "Do it again. I want to hear you do it again." Connor demanded. He was so intrigued by all of his cat-like features. This world was full of people with power but Jas seemed different, in a good way. He took another bite of his pizza, linking the oil that was dripping on the side of his chin. "These pizzas are really oily, not that I mind but still."
Jas blushed slightly as Connor sat down and mentioned his meow. It wasn't somethingehe always noticed he did. To him and suni, who he was around the most, it was something normal they both did. Jas would meow and Suni would occassionally laugh or bark in a foxlike way. “Mhm, i am a kitty after all.” He tucked Connor beneath his chin and purred softly once he had finished his eating. "You'll most likly hear it soon, dear. I do it more often when I'm a cat." He explained, taking a refreshingsip of his soda. "They are, maybe should have cut down on the extra cheese." He laughed lightly
Connor took a breath. "You ordered extra cheese?" Connor shook his head. He took a napkin and wiped his mouth before he continued eating his pizza. he gave a small giggled and touched Jas's head, giving him the petting jas loved. He felt the vibration through his hands from Jas's pur. "I don't think I'll ever get used to that he joked. Once he finished his second slice he concluded that he was done eating. He took the bottle of water and poured it over his hands so they wouldn't be sticky. He shook his hands before placing them in his lap. Connor hummed softly snuggling against Jas. He yawned a bit. "I guess we can go see your friends another time. You prepared all of this it would be a shame to leave it you know?"
"hm? Get used to what my love? My purring?" He muttered, leaning heavily into Connor's pets, his purring growing into a content rumbling and his eyes fluttering closed. He slowly settled down into the squishy pillows, laying on his side while Connor was tucked up against him. He pulled over both the blankets he had brought and tucked them close to their bodies, drinking in the warmth. He nodded with a hum. "Yeah, I'm sure they wouldn't mind if we saw them tomorrow. After all, it is late." He pressed small kisses to Connor's face and neck.
"I mean the vibration from your purring, it feels cool but weird at the same time." Connor giggled at the small kisses give him the same kissed back. Instead, he lightly pecked his lips. Connor wrapped his arms around Jas's neck. "Yeah, they can wait…" he whispered against Jas's lips. "Do I have to win another bet for you to kiss me senseless or can you do it anyway?" He gave a deep chuckle from the back of his thought, hugged Jas closer. "You keep kissing my neck you know that's one of my many weak spots." Connor kissed Jas's neck. "Hey what about your weakspots. Do you even have any?"
"You should have let me win the game dear." He murmured, "but I'd be glad to fullfil that promise." He gave a sly grin and leaned in close, hovering over Connor's body. He gave a small hum as Connor kissed his neck, eyes fluttering shut for a moments. "That's the reason why I kiss you there." He teased, tilting his head slightly. "I do, doesn't mean I'll tell you where they are." He laughed, and gently cupped Connor's cheek, brushing soft kisses to his lips before pressing harder. A low rumbling purr reverberated through his chest as hugged Connor close to his body. He tilted his head to deepened the kiss more.
Connor was surprised that Jas would take him up on that offer because he was only joking, but he couldn't complain. The that Jas was on top of him wasn't helping his case either. He closed his eyes letting himself sink deeper into Jas's touch. Connor tangled his fingers into Jas's hair, rather than just leave them over his shoulder. Connor made a small nose subconsciously, which made his ears turn red. He pulled away so he could catch his breath. "You…were not joking." he huffed. Connor moved his hand and caressed Jas's cheek running his thumb over Jas's lips. "You seem to have a lot of experience in this field, kitty."
Jas have a small sigh and reluctantly pulled back a bit to let both of them breath. "Why, my dearest creature, would I ever joke about something like that, hm?" He muttered slowly, closing his eyes as Connor's hands moved from his hair to his cheek. He pressed a gentle kiss to Connor's fingertips as they brushed along his lips. "Well, I wouldn't say I have much experience. Save for my marriage. And that's a completely different situation than ours." He nudged Connor's hand and pressed a kiss to Connor's nose. "It doesn't matter how much experience I have or don't have. My relationship with you will be different from the one I had with Winston and thats alright. I want to have our own unique love." He offered a small smile and pressed gentle kisses to Connir's jaw and neck
Connor looked away from Jas. "You're so embarrassing and cheezy. I can't say I'm complaining though…In a way, those words are very reassuring." Connor was a bit dazed from the kiss but even so, he smiles in a beautiful way. "H-Hey…seriously you're driving me crazy when you kiss my neck like that." Connor shut his eyes tightly at the little pecks. He didn't want to let himself be consumed by Jas, but then again he wouldn't mind something like that. Connor flipped them both over they he was on top of his cat boy. He gave a wide grin before trailing down Jas neck with kisses. "See? I can do it too."
Has chuckled lightly and gave Connor a reading look. "I'm glad my very serious words embarrassed you, my love." His grin softened at seeing Connor's smile "good, call this payback for all the lives you've been driving me crazy." He reasoned letting out a meowed yelp as he was flipped over, suddenly finding Connor ontop of him. He let out a huffed laugh, blush creeping to his cheeks as Connor kissed his neck. He gentlynran his hands through Connor's hair. "It seems as if you have some experience too, love. Is there something I should know?" E murmured, tilting his head and pressing a kiss to Connor's ears
He stopped kissing Jas's neck when his ear was kissed. "Y-You can't just do something like that. I'm trying to be dominant so let me find your weak points." he gave a small pout. Connor berried his face into Jas's shoulder out of sheer embarrassment. His ear was red and it was very noticeable. "I hate you sometimes…" He simply wrapped his arms around Jas's frame. "Are we sleeping here tonight or are we going back to my place. Or yours if that's what you prefer. Whichever option you pick I'm okay with it." He sighed contently. Seriously all of this, you really didn't have to. I don't mind it though."
Has let out a laugh and brushed a soft kiss to Connor's little pout. "I'm sorry sweetheart but how can I not kiss you when you're being so cute?" He lightly combed through Connor's hair, his soft purring starting up again as he relaxed. "Oh hush, you love me." He murmured, pressing a kiss Connir's brow. "Can we sleep at your place? The bed was really comfortable, and I've always wanted to sleep with you in your bed." He blushed lightly, ears flattened against his head in embarrassment. "I-i Don't mean that in a weird way!" He added on quickly. "Just thought it'd be…nice. we don't have to if course if you're not comfortable." He bit his lip, not used to being the one who was flustered.
