Derlik glanced over to make ure Nik hadn't noticed. When he was sure the man hadn't, he pressed his thumb into the man's head to keep him quiet.
Derlik glanced over to make ure Nik hadn't noticed. When he was sure the man hadn't, he pressed his thumb into the man's head to keep him quiet.
Nik was quiet, still walking beside Derlik.
It wasn't long until they were back in the clearing.
"Is there anything I can do for you?" Derlik asked softly.
He shrugged faintly, sitting down on the boulder and curling his knees up to his chest, leaning his chin onto his knees and wrapping his arms around his legs.
Derlik sat down on the other side of the boulder, his back to Nik. He pulled his hands out of his pockets, taking the man out with them.
The man was trembling, his broken body bleeding and painful. He whimpered faintly, staring up at Derlik.
Derlik looked down at the man, apathetic to his pain. Instead, he let his fingers curl around the man, squeezing. He kept it slow, kept it painful, and drew it out as long as he could.
Arthur cried out, writhing in pain in Derlik's hand. "Please." He gasped. "Please."
Derlik glanced over to make sure Nik wasn't looking, turning back to the man in his fist.
Is that what Nik said? He hissed into the man's mind, not risking Nik hearing him. Is that what he cried out when you would hurt him?
"No. N-no he never made a sound." The man gasped out, whimpering.
Then perhaps you should be more like him. Derlik kept squeezing, his fingers curling tightly around the man. When would he stop? When would he be satisfied? Then the man was nothing more than a red pulp in his palm?
The man cried out again, unable to contain it.
Derlik held back a soft hum as he held the man in his ever-tightening fist. Finally, though, he let go, letting the man drop into his lap.
The man whimpered and let out faint sobs, trembling and twitching.
Derlik hummed softly then, laying his hand on top of the man. He ran his thumb over the smaller man's back, calm.
Arthur flinched, trembling fearfully.
This, this was how Derlik wanted Arthur to be. To be afraid, even when Derlik was treating him 'kindly.' To dread every moment of his life, to know that no matter what he will be hurt. That he will know some semblance of how hurt Nik has been.
Arthur let out another soft moan of pain, his broken, battered body too broken to really even move.
Derlik looked down at Arthur for a moment. Then, he moved his hand over the man. Knitting his body back together. Would he try to run? Or would he know enough to keep quiet and behave? This would be interesting indeed…
Arthur shuddered as his body was repaired, and his eyes flashed around, uncertain whether to stay or run.
(ooh idea: Nik has a nightmare that night bc of running into the ex, and Derlik ends up comforting him? And we get after-nightmare snuggles because Nik is just so desperate for a gentle touch that he doesn't care who it's coming from?)
(:0 I love it let's do it)
Derlik watched Arthur lazily, head tilting some. A dare, almost. Go ahead, run. See how far I let you get. Maybe I'll let you go.
(:D perfect!)
Arthur pushed himself up into a standing position, eyes still flickering around.
Derlik leaned over just slightly, looking Arthur in the eye. He didn't say a word, just smiled at him calmly.
Arthur took a step back, to see what Derlik would do.
Derlik's eyes flickered, but he didn't move to pull Arthur back.
