@ElderGod-Icefire
Arthur took another few steps away, still waiting to see what Derlik would do.
Arthur took another few steps away, still waiting to see what Derlik would do.
Derlik's smile grew, waiting. Waiting for the moment Arthur pushed too much. The god rested his chin in his hand, staring down at him.
Arthur started to run as fast as he could.
Derlik watched Arthur run across the boulder, looking like he wouldn't do anything. Then, he snaked his hand out to snatch the small human up right as he reached the edge to climb down. He pulled them back up to look at them, holding back a sadistic chuckle.
Arthur was shaking again, struggling in Derlik's hands. "Put me down!"
Derlik covered the man's mouth with his thumb, just smiling that wicked smile still. Then, he glanced over to make sure Nik hadn't heard.
Nik hadn't moved, still curled in a ball. Arthur bit Derlik's thumb.
Derlik looked back to Arthur, scowling some.
"How rude," he mumbled. He pulled his thumb away, starting to bend the man's back all the wrong way.
Arthur screamed, eyes squeezing shut. "Stop! Stop, please!" he begged as his back made alarming cracking sounds.
"Quiet," Derlik said calmly. "Will you bite me again?"
He whimpered, shaking his head desperately. "N-no! Please stop!"
Derlik let go of Arthur then, letting him lean forward.
"Behave, won't you?"
Arthur let out a whine of pain, trembling.
Derlik set Arthur on his palm, holding him up to eye level.
"When will you learn?" the god said softly.
Arthur glared at him.
Derlik raised an eyebrow, moving to take the man's torso in his fingers again in a threat to go back to bending him the wrong way.
"No! No no no please no." He protested.
"Will you behave?" Derlik asked, not letting go yet.
He whined faintly.
"That's not an answer." Derlik pushed back some- not enough to cause new damage, but enough to affect the bones already broken.
He cried out in pain.
Derlik rolled his eyes. He covered the man's mouth with his thumb again, going to continue to fully bend him in half the wrong way.
He screamed, the bones in his back cracking and snapping, his body going limp.
Derlik, when he was done, dropped the man into his palm. His back was sickening, laying against the back of his legs. All it did was make Derlik smile sickly down at the still-living man.
Arthur let out a pained moan.
