Oliver sighed softly, followed by a small yawn. He walked over to the small bed, taking off his boots before climbing in, the cloak still tucked to his chest. It didn’t take long for him to fall asleep, somewhat peacefully.

(Skip?)
(Yeah)
(should we have Oliver meet with Shiroka next? bc I kinda have an idea)
(Ooo, okay)
(Should I start then?)
(Uh… yea… please)
(Aight)
Shiroka was lying on his back on his sleeping pad, eyes half-closed as he looked up at the stars. He usually slept a little further away from the main palace, closer to the walls, but he decided he would sleep by the pond that he had shown Oliver. He didn’t have a room in the palace, so he just tried to sleep under the stars when he could
It was common for Oliver to have nightmares most nights now. All left him unable to sleep, leaving him with only a couple hours each night. Tonight was no exception. When he couldn’t sleep, he went for walks, knowing most people would be asleep and not bother him. He wrapped the cloak Shiroka gave him round his shoulders and headed out.
Shiroka shifted as he began to doze off a bit, the stars lulling him almost to sleep. He curled up a little beneath the thin blanket he had, snuggling into the one bit of warmth he really had since he had given his too-small cloak to Oliver, which he had been using as a blanket
Oliver was glad for the cool air that hit him. He breathed in deeply and let it out slowly, calming his tears his slightly erratic breathing. He wandered, with really no location in mind.
Shiroka was startled from his near-sleep by the sound of someone walking near him. Quickly, he scrambled to try and hide his things, not wanting to explain his meager possessions or why he was sleeping outside like this should someone find him
Oliver bit his lip and the tilted his head to the side slightly when he saw who he’d accidentally stumbled across, “Sh-Shiroka?” Even though he spoke quietly, in the near silence he was easily heard.
Shiroka squeaked and tripped over his pillow in surprise, Oliver’s voice catching him offguard. He stumbled to the ground, wincing as he landed on his backside rather hard. He was only dressed in some loose-fitting pants and an open gi that exposed almost all of his torso since he had fell, and he looked up at Oliver a little nervously. “Ah…Hello?” he said, forcing an awkward smile
Oliver couldn’t help the very small giggle that escaped him as Shiroka fell. He walked closer stopping a couple feet away, “Are you okay?” He asked gently, “That was quite a fall.”
“Yes, I’m fine,” Shiroka said, hugging the offending pillow to his chest as he sat up, sitting cross-legged now atop his half-packed sleeping pad and surrounded by his meager possessions
Oliver nodded slightly and took a step closer. He wanted to ask why Shiroka was out here but didn’t want to pry, “I-I’m sorry for scaring you, I didn’t think I’d find anyone else out here…”
“It’s alright, Oliver. I’m startled easily at night is all,” Shiroka said softly, his voice quiet in the near-silence out of habit. He drew his legs up a little, feeling rather self-conscious of the moonlight illuminating his rather bare torso—bare to him, at least
Oliver sighed softly and nodded again, “Well I’m sorry to disturb,” He looked back at the path he’d taken then back to Shiroka, “I-I’ll um… leave you be.”
“You don’t have to if you don’t want to,” Shiroka said softly. “Besides, you weren’t…You didn’t really bother me or anything. And you look like you need a little company,” he murmured, trailing off a little as he looked down a tad shyly
Oliver’s sure widened a little and he shuffled his feet nervously, “I… are you sure? I don’t want to keep you awake…” He did, though, take a small step closer.
“It’s alright, I haven’t been able to sleep tonight. The stars are rather pretty like this, though. Would you like to watch them with me?” Shiroka asked, smiling a little as he began to set his blanket out again and place his pillow where it belonged
Oliver nodded slightly and walked closer. The closer he got, the more obvious it was that he’d been crying with a tear stained face and red eyes. He sat down next to Shiroka, crossing his legs.
Shiroka saw that Oliver had been crying, and suddenly he felt the urge to embrace the other. But he shuffled over a little, giving Oliver some room before grabbing the blanket and pulling it over them. “It’s a little cold out here, so feel free to use me for a little more heat,” he said, hoping that maybe that would give him an excuse to try and comfort the other
Oliver hummed in understanding, though he didn’t make a move to get closer at that moment. After about five minutes or so, he did, resting his head on Shiroka’s upper arm as he was still too short to reach any higher sitting down.
