Shiroka only held Oliver closer, holding him in a snug, comforting embrace. He kept his arms firmly around the smaller boy, a hand reaching up a little so he could soothingly rub the other's back. "It's okay. I'm here," he murmured
Oliver tried his hardest to calm himself down, to stop crying and excuse himself so Shiroka didn’t have to deal with him anymore. But even though he tried, he still sobbed and shook.
Shiroka did his best to keep Oliver close, murmuring soft assurances to him as he cried. He hated to see others so distraught like this, especially poor Oliver. In a way, he could feel his heart breaking for the other
Eventually, Oliver's sob's turned into sniffles, the shaking slowing down but not really stopping yet. He didn't let go of Shiroka but he did loosen his grip slightly, through that might be because he had expect so much energy crying.
Shiroka kept quiet now, just soothingly holding Oliver as they sat there. He gently pulled the other closer, adjusting them so he could more securely keep his arms wrapped around the other
Oliver snuggled into Shiroka, still sniffling and trying to calm himself down. Being held by the other was comforting, and he was glad Shiroka was here.
Shiroka gently carded his fingers through Oliver’s hair, rubbing his back with his other hand. He kept him close, gentle and comforting
Oliver leaned into his touches, a small purr escaping as Shiroka played his hair. He let himself relax further, sniffling now almost at a halt.
Shiroka couldn’t help but smile sweetly at how Oliver purred ever so softly. “There you go…” he murmured softly, happy the other was feeling better
Oliver hummed quietly in response, not forming a worded reply. He was completely calm now, no more tears or shaking and content in Shiroka’s embrace.
Shiroka didn’t stop yet, figuring that if Oliver wanted him to stop, he would say so. He held him closer, grip loosening to something more gentle and caring
Another small purr crossed with a content sigh passed Oliver’s lips. He flushed slightly but couldn’t bring himself to care too much.
Shiroka felt the faint urge to press his lips to the top of Oliver’s head, but refrained, instead just running his hand through the other’s hair, occasionally massaging his scalp as they sat there
Oliver felt himself slowly falling asleep. The comforting embrace with the gently touches was relaxing, almost too much so but he didn’t tell Shiroka to stop.
Shiroka continued to sweetly hold Oliver, massaging his scalp while also rubbing his side. “Get some rest,” he murmured softly
“But I wanna… stay awake… with you…” Oliver muttered, though he yawned and tried to stifle it.
"You need rest, Oliver. I'll still be here when you wake up. It's alright," Shiroka soothed, gently giving Oliver's head a little rub in an effort to try and convince him
Oliver wanted to protest further but was too tired to do so. He released a small breath, relaxing under Shiroka’s touches. It didn’t take long for him to fall asleep.
(skip?)
(Yeah)
Shiroka had eventually dozed off as well, and was napping lightly where he was laying next to Oliver. He had the sense to make it so they were both laying down before he fell asleep, and he still had his arms around the other
Oliver was snuggled right up against Shiroka as they slept, his smaller body invisible to the eye depending on what angle you looked at the two. He slept soundly and deeply, exhaustion weighting in him heavily.
Eventually, Shiroka slowly began to stir, though it wasn’t necessarily peacefully. He curled tighter around Oliver, face beginning to screw up a little as he gave a soft little whine in his sleep
The whine woke Oliver up him his sleep and he pouted slightly. Though when he realised it was Shiroka he grew worried, "Sh-Shiroka?" He whispered, nudging him gently.
Shiroka didn’t exactly respond, just whimpered as he buried his face in the crook of Oliver’s neck, holding onto him a bit tighter as his face scrunched up. It looked almost like he was in pain, albeit quiet
