In a feelsy mood, so I figured this would be a good idea lmao. Basic plot is that two kingdoms are completely at war with each other, and a prince is caught in the crossfire, forced to choose a side. Sorta going for some medieval angsty plot, but I was thinking his servant/best friend/whatever watches him make the wrong choice and the prince is killed for it, causing the dude to go into a depressive spiral until he's pulled out of it by a new love, as he had been pining after the dead prince for years before. Kinda hoping for more soft, damaged characters involved, but whatever works rlly.
Note-Gonna be rated R for mature themes/war/mental illness and all that fun stuff, and I'd prefer someone who's more experienced so that it's handled well and all that jazz.

so do you have a preference for which character or nah
lmao that's a little issue then bc I'm on the fence as to which spot to take since I have a character for each
Well… I have a small boi I can use for the servant/best friend or whatever
well in that case I think imma be the person trying to comfort the sad boi
Litty. Lemme find ma sad boi
aight
and just for bg info, the two kingdoms are called Reichen and Matsune, with Reichen being more medieval Europe-style and Matsune being more feudal Japan-style. magic is a thing, and for simplicity's sake we're just gonna say that the prince was like kidnapped or smth from his birth kingdom by the other and died choosing a side
Okie, cool.
Name: Oliver ‘Ollie’ White:
Age: 20
Gender: male
Sexuality: bi-sexual
Class/role: servant
Looks: Oliver has very pale skin with light freckles coating his cheeks and skin. His also has very blonde, fluffy hair. It isn't platinum white but it's very close. He has bright baby blue eyes, rimmed with a dark blue. If you look closely you can see what looks like squiggly lines inside of them, almost like they've been cracked and glued back together again. He was a small button nose and his bottom lip is slightly bigger then his top, making it look like he's nearly always pouting or sad. He's a skinny boy, having little muscle on his body. He is small, too, around 5'4 if you're really pushing it.
Outfit: plain clothing, black pants and a long sleeve white shirt. They’re old and worn but they cover him enough so he doesn’t care. He wears black boots that are too small for his feet.
Weapon(s): has a small dagger but doesn’t carry it around with him. It sits by his bed.
Personality: Before the prince died he was bubbly and more out going. He did have social anxiety around people he didn’t know but he easily warmed up to them. He was kind to everyone no matter what they did and always went out of his way to help people. After the prince died he became closed off. He barely spoke to anyone unless necessary and after finishing his jobs always went back to his room and slept. He barely eats anymore and is now very under weight because of it. He still tries to be kind to others but he honestly doesn’t care anymore.
Other: uh… can’t think of any.
aww poor boi
gimme a bit more to get my guy up, his template's a bit much lmao
shit I accidentally closed the tab :')
gimme a bit to redo this
All g, I’m not going anywhere, anyway.
aight sorry for the wait, I'm like almost done
It’s fine, take your time
Name: Hino Shiroka (only goes by Hino with close friends and people he really likes)
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Gay (has issues accepting it a lot tho)
Class/role: Matsune ninja/the dead prince's former retainer
Looks: Rather fair skin riddled with scars, all lean and streamlined muscle, roughly 6', slightly pointed chin but overall gentle/misleading features, pale green eyes that look closer to grey, short windswept hair that sweeps over to the right a bit and the bangs partially cover his right eye (his hair color is a slightly faded black with pale forest green accents), thin scar across his left jaw that reaches about a little more than halfway to his cheekbone, multiple thin scars across his upper arms and a few on his thighs that are faded but still rather noticeable so he keeps them covered
Outfit: Flexible black armor detailed with pale gold that make up his spiked shoulder guards, outer arm guards with shorter spines offshooting from them, leg guards with short spines below the knee section and clawed toes, a waist guard, and thin black plates running down his spine all tied together with red string in elaborate little bows on everything but the spine plates. Wears a dull forest green and black gi that exposes a triangle-shaped cut of his chest that tucks into the waist guard, simple black pants that are a bit baggy and tuck into the leg guards, and bigger plates hang down from the waist guard to cover his thighs (there's holsters in them as well). Always wears a black circlet, as well as a partly tattered black scarf that wraps around his neck and partly over his right shoulder before sweeping off like a cape
Weapon(s): Shurikens, daggers
Personality: Generally a bit standoffish at first, but once you get to know him he quickly turns rather kind. He's rather sweet, though he has issues trying to show it, however he prefers being formal when it comes to things like having almost everyone call him by his last name. He has issues taking care of himself, his selflessness reaching ridiculous extents rather often. After the prince's death he's been even more standoffish than before, and has snapped uncharacteristically at many people despite his usual efforts to be at least a little lighthearted for everyone else's sake. Gets pretty reclusive now, and has started hiding his body and shying away from others more…
Other: Loves nature and hates sleeping inside unless he absolutely has to, has body issues and even though he'd made a little progress with things like showing his chest with his armor he's started to hate his figure again, refuses to go to the infirmary for anything less than life-threatening
aight how should we start. maybe it's Shiroka's turn to try and give Oliver some food?
k, cool. you wanna do a starter or should I?
(ye, I got you)
It was Shiroka's turn to try and take Oliver some food, and he wasn't exactly looking forward to it. He had heard that no one had been properly successful in getting him to eat, and the rest of the army was starting to get worried. So here he was, a silver tray in hand that he had borrowed from the kitchens as he walked towards where Oliver was staying. He knew that normally, many people wouldn't bother caring for a servant like this, but Oliver and the fallen prince had been so close–closer even than he thought he was before the boy's death
