Shiroka took the cup and set it carefully back on the tray. He shuffled aside a tad so he could lean against the wall. “May I ask how your day has been?” he asked gently, glancing up at Oliver from where he sat below him

Oliver shrugged, going back to gazing out the window, “It was…” He paused trying to think of the right word to describe it, “Dull.” Everything was dull now. He balled his hands up in his shirt.

“Would you…like to take a walk with me then? That could perhaps make things a little more colorful?” Shiroka offered with a small smile, hoping Oliver would accept

“Um…” Oliver thought it over. He hadn’t left the castle walls for… he couldn’t remember. He probably wouldn’t walk far, he didn’t know how much energy he had but… “O-Okay… but only a short one…”

“How about just around the courtyard? Would that be alright?” Shiroka asked, smiling sweetly as he looked up at Oliver. It was clear he wasn’t aware of his own charms, something that contradicted his mean-looking armor quite a bit

Oliver nodded a little, uncurling himself from his corner slowly. His bare feet hit the floor quietly, the cold of it nipping at the exposed skin, “Um… can you pass me my boots, please?” He asked, pointing the the small pair of shoes not too far away from Shiroka.

Shiroka nodded, getting to his feet nimbly before grabbing Oliver’s boots. He handed them to him gently before taking a step back so Oliver had room to put them on

Oliver thanked him quietly before he pulled on his socks. He then slipped his feet into his boots, having to pull a little harder then normal to get them on properly as they were too small. He stood, before he looked to Shiroka, “I’m ready.”

Shiroka nodded, offering Oliver a hand once he had pulled his boots on. He was actually rather happy the other was letting him do this at the moment. It made him feel a lot better about himself, at least

Oliver reached out to take Shiroka's hand but flinched away at little at the last second as if he wasn't sure. His eyes flicked to the other's face, then to his hand as he slowly and hesitantly, took his hand.

Shiroka gently took Oliver's hand, helping him to his feet. And if it lingered with Oliver's just a second too long, he didn't seem to notice or care, far too content just to be able to make someone happy with a little walk. He opened the door, holding it for Oliver with a small smile

Oliver offered the tiniest smile back at the gesture and stepped out into the hall. He wrapped his arms around his body, looking back at Shiroka then back to the hall ahead.

Shiroka led the way to the door that led out to the courtyard, always just a step ahead of Oliver so he could open doors out of politeness. That, and he was just a fast walker in general, really

Once Oliver was outside, he squinted at the brightness and shivered at the cool breeze that hit him. Again he thanked Shiroka for opening in the door with another small smile.

Shiroka simply nodded in response to the thanks. He folded his arms loosely across his partially bare chest, the cool air teasing the skin ever so slightly. At this point he was debating changing his uniform

Oliver was now wishing he'd brought a coat or a sweater of some sort but he didn't care ask to turn back and get one. He'd probably just say he didn't want to go out anymore and he'd gotten too far to turn around now.

Shiroka noticed rather quickly that Oliver had gotten cold, and he would offer his jacket if he had one. Instead, they came upon a tree before stopping. “Would you wait here a moment?” he asked. “I’ll be right back, I just need to grab something.”

Oliver tilted his head to the side in curiosity with a small frown - though it looked more like a pout then anything - before he nodded slightly, "O-Okay."

“Give me a minute, I’ll be right back,” Shiroka assured him before jogging off. A few minutes later, he returned with a cloak in hand, smiling like a little puppy bringing its master a toy. “I saw you were cold, so here,” he said, grinning as he held it out

Oliver mouth dropped but he quickly closed it and looked down at the floor, “You didn’t have to do that… I would have been fine…” He said quietly but he took the cloak gently, anyway.

“You were cold, and I felt that I should get you a cloak since I asked you to walk with me anyways. And I wouldn’t want you to be miserable,” Shiroka said with a small little smile, still retaining his puppy-like looks, seemingly not noticing it either

For someone Oliver thought so scary a few minutes ago Shiroka didn’t seem all too bad. The smaller male nodded, wrapping the cloak round his shoulders, “Th-Thank-you.”

“Of course,” Shiroka said sweetly. “Would you like to continue? There’s a lovely little pond nearby,” he offered, grinning as he gestured a little further down the cobblestone path

Oliver nodded, “Sure, let’s go.” He released a small breath before he headed down the path, towards where Shiroka gestured.

Shiroka kept his strides short, making it so Oliver could keep up with his long legs. The path wound its way between two buildings before opening up into a beautiful pond, a small waterfall feeding it from where it was tucked against the mountainside
