Larkin returned the kiss and nuzzled against Samul. "You're the worst~… I still beat you, though!"
Larkin returned the kiss and nuzzled against Samul. "You're the worst~… I still beat you, though!"
"Uh- Am not!!" Samul laughed, looking at the screen. "Well, we're at Rainbow Road now, and I'm going to knock you off, so much."
"You can't knock me off if I stay far enough ahead of you~" Larkin stuck his tongue out playfully and started the race.
"Watch me!" Samul laughed, holding Larkin tight to himself.
"Don't hold me so tight either! You'll mess me up!" Larkin huffed a bit and tried to shift to a more comfortable position while he played.
"Oh, really~?" Samul pulled Larkin completely onto his lap, laughing. "Well then!"
"Stoooooop…" Larkin whined, trying to keep his arms out of Samul's reach at least so he could still play.
Samul laughed, managing to get both himself and Larkin out of first play as his Mama took the head.
"Aha~!"
"Samuuuuul!" Larkin whined, trying to free himself from Samul's grasp. "This is sabotaaaaage…"
"Damn right it is!"
"Language!" Samul's Mom was laughing along with everyone else, just as Samul's little sister one first for the last race.
"Yes! Thank you Samul!" Vanessa moved over, hugging Larkin and Samul.
"Ughhhhh… I can't believe my boyfriend doesn't love me." Larkin whined playfully, sticking his tongue out at Samul. "Feeling betrayed."
"Sweetieeee, you won everything else, and you even still came in first because of it!" Samul said, pointing to the screen. He laughed, hugging Larkin close.
"Yeah, yeah." Larkin kissed Samul's cheek and then pushed him away, still smirking a bit. "Still a dick, though."
"Language!" Mom said once more. Mama chuckled, elbowing her wife. Samul laughed some, hugging Larkin before he was pushed away.
"Only for you~"
Larkin rolled his eyes. "Mhmm. What time is it?" He asked. "I'm starving."
"It's six a'clock now. Oh! Dinner should be ready!" Samul's Mama got up, heading to the kitchen.
Larkin smiled softly and freed himself from Samul's grasp, getting to his feet to go into the kitchen.
Samul stood as well, his sister hanging onto his leg as he moved to follow. Mama was humming, chuckling as she pulled the roast out of the crock pot.
Larkin headed into the kitchen, tail wagging a bit when he saw the meat. "Looks great, ma'am. I see where Samul got his cooking skills from."
"Oh, thank you!" Samul's Mama blushed some, chuckling.
"Now, how much does everyone want?"
"As much as you'll give me, assuming everyone else gets food as well." Larkin snickered a bit. "I'm always starving this time of the month."
"Got it sweetie!" Mama moved to serve everyone else, including herself, first. Once the plates were dished out, she lifted up the dish she'd set the meat and potatoes on and offered it to Larkin.
"Is this enough?"
"Yeah, thank you." Larkin grinned as he accepted the plate, heading over to sit beside Samul at the table. "Y'all's food is always the best, I swear."
"We're poor, dear, we get good at cooking good food from little." Mama chuckled some, joking about their financial situation so she wasn't bogged down by it. Samul hummed, leaning over to kiss Larkin's cheek.
Larkin returned the kiss and started eating. "I know how that feels. I never really learned how to cook, though?" He laughed softly.
