Larkin yawned a bit and fell asleep after a while, his grip on Samul's hand loosening.

Samul didn't loosen his hold, though, thumb gently rubbing the back of his hand. He was silent as he drove, doing his best to keep the ride nice and smooth in their not so smooth car.

Larkin curled up on his side a bit to get more comfortable in the car, the side of his face pressing up against the car seat.

Samul smiled when he saw Larkin shift around out of the corner of his eye, his hand letting go for just a moment to run his hand lightly over the werewolf's beanie.

Larkin whined softly in his sleep and wagged his tail, seeming pretty content. He yawned again and curled up tighter.

So cute… Samul turned back to the road, silent as they continued on. They were on the highway by now, Samul relaxing as he set the cruise control. It was a straight shot from there.

Larkin nuzzled into his arm in his sleep and got himself more settled, happy to sleep until they got there.

Samul kept an eye on Larkin as they rode to his mothers' home, smiling some.
"Larkin," he said, nudging the man when Samul was pulling into the driveway, "We're here."

"Mmm…" Larkin stirred a bit and opened his eyes, a big red mark on his cheek from the seat when he sat up. "Hmm…?"

Samul parked, leaning over.
"We're at my Mom and Mama's house," the man repeated, gently kissing Larkin's red cheek.

"Yaaaay…" Larkin rubbed at his cheek a bit and sat up stretching with a yawn. "Ready to head in, then?"

"Mhm!" Samul moved to open his door and get out, only to find a very excited and very big dog was happy to see him.
"Hey buddy!" The man said, laughing some as he was nearly knocked off his feet by the large dog.

Larkin grinned brightly and pet the dog when it came over, seeming pretty happy. "Hey, bud! Where's your moms, hmm?"

As if on cue, a petite woman came out of the door after the dog.
"Darling!" She came at Samul with at much energy at the dog, hugging him tightly.
"Hi, Mama!" Samul grinned, hugging his mama tightly in turn.

"Hello, ma'am." Larkin dipped his head politely. "It's nice to see you again." He smiled gently at the woman, keeping close to Samul.

"Aw, hello Larkin!" Samul's mama pulled away from him too go give Larkin a gentle hug.
"How are you doing dearies?"

Larkin returned the hug, still smiling. "We're doing alright. What about you guys? How have things been here?" He asked.

"Things have been good, deary, Jenny and Vanessa are inside." Samul chuckled at the thought of his little sister, nodding. Mama pulled back, patting the family dog's head as she motioned for the two to follow her inside.

Larkin followed Samul along, holding onto his hand as he walked. "Well, it's good to see you guys again."

"It's good to see you two, to!" Mama said, chuckling at she brought the dog and the two men inside.
"Jenny! They're here!"

Larkin waved and smiled when he and Samul came into the room. "Hey, everyone. It's been a while, hmm?"

The older woman sitting on the couch stood, moving over to hug Larkin.
"Much too long, dear." She smiled, moving then to hug Samul.
"Love you, Mom," Samul said softly, nuzzling close.

(Lmao)
Larkin returned the hug, still smiling. It was nice to talk to Samul's moms since his own mother had left him when he was little. "We're only going to be here for a day, unfortunately…"

"That's fine!" Samul's little sister came over, looking up at Larkin with a smile.
"We can have lots of fun in a day!" Samul leaned over, hand slipping into Larkin's.
"So, we won't be staying the night then?" He asked softly.

"We'll be staying the night, yeah, I just mean that we're not gonna be here for more than 24 hours…" Larkin held tightly to Samul's hand and smiled.
