"Good, then." Samul kissed Larkin's cheek, causing his sister Vanessa to giggle.
"Good, then." Samul kissed Larkin's cheek, causing his sister Vanessa to giggle.
Larkin returned the kiss, seeming pretty pleased. "What should we do while we're here, hmm?" He asked curiously.
"Mario Kart!" Samul laughed some at his sister's suggestion, turning to his mothers' for approval.
"I think it's a grand idea!" Mama said.
"Sure, sounds good to me." He laughed softly. "I'll warn you, though, I'm something of an expert at Mario Kart."
"Oh, I'm going to kick your butt on Rainbow Road," Mama said, Mom chuckling as Samul took Larkin's hand, leading him to sit down and handing him a Wii remote.
Larkin grinned and followed them into the living room, taking the wii remote from Samul and sitting himself down on the couch. "Alright, let's do this."
Soon, Samul, Vanessa, and Mama were all sat with Larkin, grinning.
"Let's go!" Vanessa said, grinning as the game was pulled up.
"I call Rosalina!"
"Yeah, yeah. Pick whoever you want; you're gonna lose." Larkin grinned and picked Yoshi for his character.
Samul went for Dry Bones, his mama choosing Baby Peach.
"I'm totally gonna kick your butt," Samul said, laughing softly as he kissed Larkin's cheek.
"Nuh uh! I always beat you!" Larkin stuck his tongue out playfully and started racing, grinning brightly.
Samul and his family seemed to be having a lot of fun racing with Larkin, laughing as each ended up making silly mistakes.
Larkin managed to barely win the first race, and not without a healthy amount of gloating, of course. "I told you I'm the best at this game~"
"Oh, I'm gonna nail you next race," Samul said, having just barely ended up in second. His Mama snorted some, Mom moving to hit her arm lightly.
"Sweetie!"
"Yeah, yeah. Not in front of the kids~" Larkin snickered a bit and kept playing, huddling close to Samul.
Vanessa giggled some, shaking her head. Samul moved to put his arm around Larkin, his remote in front of them.
Larkin kept going, grinning brightly as he barely beat Samul again. "You can't catch me~"
"Oh, yeah? Watch!" Samul laughed, kissing Larkin's cheek. His sister was snuggled up with Mama, both of whom were quite close to Samul and Larkin in the races.
Larkin giggled a bit and stuck his tongue out, grinning cheekily. "I'm just too fast for you, love. Sorry, it's the truth."
Mama snorted again, getting another smack from her wife. Samul turned red, laughing some.
"Oh, c'mon. That one wasn't even meant to be dirty." Larkin rolled his eyes and started the next race. "That's your own fault."
"Dear in this family you'll find even if it isn't meant that way, if it can be taken dirty it will be." Mama laughed as the race started. Samul had managed to snag an early first place, and was battling to keep it.
Larkin huffed a bit as Samul pulled ahead again, inching closer to him as the race went on and managing to hit him with a red shell after a while.
"Noooooooo!" Samul said, letting out a frustrated growl. He hugged Larkin close to himself, chuckling dryly.
Larkin grinned and kept going. "Stoooop! You're gonna mess me up!" He barely managed to pass Samul before the finish line.
"Dangit it didn't work," Samul mumbled under his breath, laughing and kissing Larkin's cheek. He held Larkin close, keeping his arms around him.
