"Do you need me to get them ready? It will give you a chance to change your shirt, if you need."
"Do you need me to get them ready? It will give you a chance to change your shirt, if you need."
He shook his head, blushing slightly. "Remember how you said we still had something to do?" he asked, stepping closer.
Her cheeks darkened as she tucked her phone away. "I…may recall saying something along those lines, yes.."
He laughed. "God, we're awkward."
"We really are." She agreed, chuckling.
He moved even closer, resting his hands lightly on her hips. "Just so you know, I've never actually done this before."
"Are you sure I am the best candidate for your first, then?" She asked, finding herself leaning a bit closer.
"I can't imagine anyone else," he said, unsure if he should go for it or not.
"In that case, are you waiting for a written invitation?" She asked teasingly.
He leaned in, lightly pressing his lips against hers.
Her arms snaked around his neck, and she pressed into the kiss just a bit more.
At this point the blush had turned into a deep red and spread across his entire face.
She pulled back just a bit to breathe, a smile lighting up her face. "You are extremely read."
"Yeah," he said in a starstruck voice. "I know."
"Well, I hope I did not waste your first kiss."
He shook his head. "God, no." He wanted to do it again, but he wasn't about to push his luck.
"Good." She studied him for a second. "You know, if you want another kiss, all you have to do is ask."
He opened his mouth and then closed it, everything still incredibly awkward for him.
She laughed lightly, leaning forward and pressing her lips to his again.
He paused for a moment, then leaned forward like she had, hoping that he was doing this right.
She tilted her head to the side, deepening the kiss just a bit.
Suddenly, there was a huge gasp from behind Eli. Emma was standing at the top of the stairs with her hands on the side of her face.
Manon pulled away to look behind him, and winked at Emma. "Ah, you wanted to know when, did you not? Well, I kissed him."
She came running down the stairs and began pushing Manon's legs, trying to get her away from Eli. "No!"
Manon raised an eyebrow and let Emma push her, slightly confused. "Cherie, if something is wrong you should tell me."
