((Go with the flow. Be creative! I liked to be shocked when doing these types of things)) "Manny! Manny!" it was Emma, obviously, because he was carrying Jaiden was in his arms, her face buried into his chest as she slept. He looked like he had just gotten out of bed. His hair was an absolute mess, his clothes were wrinkled and worn, and he had a sleepy grin on his face. Work ended only an hour ago, but he had made a promise to take them to Build-a-Bear and get them each a bear and two outfits. Emma was already inside of the store, having sprinted across the length of the mall in her excitement. She stared up at the stuffing machine, her eyes sparkling with wonder only a 6 year old could understand. They both looked very well dressed in high quality clothes, washed, hair braided or, in Jaiden's case, put into two tiny ponytails 'cause she didn't quite have enough hair for a full one.

Manon walked right past the Build-A-Bear, but paused and back tracked. I wonder if they have sharks? It was a guilty pleasure, collecting shark themed items, but she absolutely adored the creatures. She felt a bit odd, walking in in her six inch heels and skater skirt, but she walked with confidence, glancing at a little girl by the stuffing machine. So happy. And small.

"What, what?" He asked, his soft tenor voice somewhat attention grabbing. It was the kind of sound that everyone wanted to hear. Didn't even have to be really talking about anything. It's all about the sound. Emma looked up at him, nearly jumping up and down with joy. "Will this make them come to life?" He smiled, holding in a laugh. After a few moments to recover, he said, "It could, but only to a lucky few. You feelin' lucky, punk?" She giggled, "I'm not a punk, you are." He just smiled, walking her over to where she got to pick out her stufed animal. It was an aquatic special that moth, and the walls were lined with various sea animals. Yet, there was only one hammerhead shark left. When Emma's eyes locked on to those of the shark's she know that that was the one, that it would come to life and they would be best friends. She began walking quickly to wear it hung.

Manon's focus narrowed on the last shark in the entire store, and she made her way towards it. She reached it at the same time a little girl did, the same little girl she had noticed earlier, and her attention was on it too. There were a number of ways she could go about this, so she grabbed it and crouched down, holding it out to the girl. "You like the sharks too, eh? I was looking for one, but it looks like it is the last one." Her accent was fairly prominent, but not she was still understandable.

Emma smiled, taking the shark gently into her hands like a mother were hold a child. Eli made eye contact with the woman when she looked up, and mouthed a a "thank you" as Jaiden reached out with her chubby baby hands for a classic teddy bear. "Classic, eh? That's more my style," he said, moving closer so she could grab it. She hugged it tightly to her chest for a moment before pointing to the stuffing machine. "Bubba!" Jaiden said urgently as she held the bear out. "Stuff!" He grinned down at her. "Smart cookie." He walked over to the woman who gave Emma the bear, slipping his free hand into his pocket. "Would you like any money? It looked like you really wanted that shark, and you saved my an entire afternoon of crying, whining, and hissy fits."

Manon stood, having to look down at the man in front of her, and raised an eyebrow. "Keep your money. I can always find another shark elsewhere." The man looked like he had just gotten out of bed, the complete opposite end of the spectrum from her. "I can appreciate a kindred spirit, in any case."

"I definitely appreciate it, miss. Thank you, again." He walked over to the stuffing machine, where a male worker waited patiently. Jaiden offered him the teddy bear, saying "Careful!" as he fitted it over the weird little nozzle and let Jaiden press the button to start it. In a few seconds, Jaiden had her coveted bear back in her arms, and the process repeated for Emma. They walked over to the accessories wall, and he let them each pick out two, wincing at the price. It's fine, he thought, pulling out his wallet. I just got paid my bonus, $50 isn't that bad. He slipped a credit card from one of the slits in the wallet, after everything was scanned and put onto the bears. A quick swipe, and his entire bonus was gone. Just one quick motion that seemed so insignificant to the woman, yet meant not going out to eat for a while, which Jaiden and Emma loved to do. The looks on their faces, however, made it all worth it for him. He returned his wallet to his pocket and didn't bother with the receipt, knowing damn well they weren't about to return their new babies.
