"Let's hope her magic works on my little ones," he said with a grin.
"Let's hope her magic works on my little ones," he said with a grin.
"It is highly unlikely it wouldn't." She returned a smile.
"Is there anything you want to do today?" He asked. "Seems like we've been lounging around a lot lately."
"You said you cannot swim….so what if we go to an aquarium?" She raised an eyebrow..
His eyes brightened slightly. "The girls would love that."
"Aquarium it is then." She said, laughing lightly.
"You get to see your favorite animal," he said with a grin.
"I know! Oh, we have to stop by the gift shop!" She said, lighting up with excitement.
"Finally get you a stuffed shark after Jaiden stole yours?" he asked.
"Absolutely." She laughed lightly. "I might get a keychain, too. You are required to pick something out as well."
"'Required?'" he echoed. "What happens if I don't?"
"I will….make you get in the shark cage." She decided, nodding.
"And if they don't have a shark cage?" he asked, a small smile paying on his lips.
"They do have a shark cage. The aquarium I was thinking about going to at least." She said, and in a moment of childishness, stuck her tongue out. "Even if you managed to find one that didn't, I have my ways."
"Ah, yes, these mythical ways everyone seems to have," he said, sticking his tongue right back.
"You are forgetting that I'm a lawyer, and grew up figuring out how to get my way." She said, raising an eyebrow. She reached up, poking his tongue.
He pulled his tongue back, blushing slightly. "Bullshit, you couldnt convince them to buy a shark cage."
"Not a cage, no." She said simply, a scarily vague sentence.
He rolled his eyes. "Yeah, okay."
"You shush." She ordered, snuggling closer to him.
"And why should I?" He challenged playfully. "I know my rights."
"Your rights are no match for me." She said dramatically.
"Not to the US government," he said, jolting the shoulder her head rested on slightly
She gave him a dirty look with no heat to it as she lifted her head. "I am French, your government bows to me."
"Um…have you not looked at a history textbook? Kinda the opposite," he said with a snort, meeting her eyes easily.
