She rolled her eyes, and scooted over, resting her head on his shoulder/
He stayed tensed up for a moment, then slackened, still blushing as he wrapped his arm over her shoulder.
She nestled a bit closer, slightly surprised by how comforting this was.
"It doesn't seem like we'll be getting much done today, does it?"
"We might have to save it for tomorrow." She admitted, smiling softly.
"Sounds like a plan to me," he said, smiling back.
"We could probably still go by that place and drop the girls off. Have the whole place to ourselves."
"Are you aware of what that sounds like you are insinuating?"
He thought for a moment, then sighed, leaning his head back. "You know that's not what I meant."
She laughed, nodding her head best she could without moving it from his shoulder. "I know. I was messing with you."
"But I have a feeling they're asleep right now, gauging from the general lack of noise."
"Mmm, or they are up to something. But that would likely bring along giggles, so.."
He nodded, leaning into her slightly. "Something about you makes me sleepy."
"Is that good or bad?"
"Means we get to cuddle more, so good."
"Mmm, I like cuddling." She said softly, a happy smile on her face.
"You don't really seem like the cuddling type," he admitted.
"I am not usually. With you, it is nice though."
"And what bout me is so cuddly?"
"You are safe." She said simply. "There is something comforting about your presence."
"Is there something dangerous out there?" He asked, tilting his head and smiling slightly.
"Most definitely." She replied, tucking her legs up onto the couch next to her. "And you are the opposite."
"I couldn't hurt a fly, of course I'm not dangerous."
"Not being dangerous, and having a comforting presence, are two completely different things, love."
