"Seriously? A 'whatever?' This isn't high school, Manon. And I can't help my sense of humor."
"Seriously? A 'whatever?' This isn't high school, Manon. And I can't help my sense of humor."
She ignored him, putting the earbud back in. That's where those shoes were.
He shook his head and walked back into the house, closing the door and gritting his teeth.
Nice job, Manon. You can't even talk to him. She shut the car door loudly, leaning back against it as she shook her head.
The good thing about Eli, however was that he cooled off quickly. After a few moments, he walked over the couch and sat down, waiting for her to walk back in.
Manon took a few more minutes before heading back, her earbuds still in as she opened the door.
He turned and looked over at her, his head tilted slightly.
((Sorry I was gone so long, I got really busy!
She walked over, sitting next to him and taking her earbuds out. "Allow me to apologize."
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "It's fine, there's no need."
"No, I should have at least talked to you." She looked down at her lap, twisting her hands.
He shrugged. "You were mad, I get it."
"Not mad. I was sort of annoyed, I guess, and at the time it felt like you were laughing at me. It is stupid, I realize that you were laughing at the situation, but…"
He rubbed the red mark on his bottom lip, smiling slightly. "I wouldn't ever laugh at you," he said.
"I highly doubt that, however sweet it is." She said, fingers tapping quickly.
"No, I'm not smiling about that, I'm smiling cause…well, I just got my first kiss."
"I hope it at least wasn't horrible." She huffed a quiet laugh.
"God no, that was amazing." He blushed ever so slightly as he said that.
"If you thought that was amazing, just wait. That was quite a basic kiss, technique wise."
His blush grew more. "You bit my lip, and you call that basic?"
"Absolutely." She smirked over at him.
"I don't know whether to be excited or scared."
"Excited, trust me." She laughed, tucking her hair behind her ear.
He turned away from her, his face a deep crimson.
She leaned over, poking his cheek with a smile. "You are red again."
He opened his mouth to speak, then closed it, deciding that it was probably best to stay silent before the conversation got too deep.
