She nodded "yeah, sorry but they have to know where to go if case something goes wrong." she looked back at the wolves "anyone else?" They all shook their heads and stood up up, nudging their head against val's again, even the one that she growled at. She held him in place "was that necessary?" The wolf looked away before licking her and barking. "You rascal! Go on." she shook her head and shifted as they all made their way out of the clearing. She nudged Min's hand and shut her eyes, hoping to offer him with some comfort before heading out after her pack, Zizi nudging him forwards as well
(yo is she a human still or a wolf?)
(she shifted near the end)
(oh okay sorry)
He wasn't used to the whole wolf thing yet. The mannerisms, the nudging, barking, and growling. It was all very different and strange to him. But he didn't question anything. He wasn't in a place to judge. Vampires had their way of communicating with eachither too. Cass being the exception of course. And they're ways are very nice but hey, it gets it through their head. It also depends if they're in a pack of their own or not. Min-Hyuk didn't know a specific name for the family's of vampires so he called them packs. not actual family's though. Those were long gone and extinct. It's impossible to actually find love for vampires now so pure bloods are extinct and nobody wants to bring them back. They're smart to do that anyway.
He snapped out of his thoughts when she nudged his hand and his face flushed red. Stepping back a bit when Zizi nudged him. Still feeling threatened. It was natural instinct but he tried his best to push it down and follow. He wasn't planning on doing it tonight, but he wasn't about to call it off now. It was far too late for that.
(It’s ok!)
Zilia stopped her nudging but remain close to Min anyways as they followed the group to the town. Val suddenly stopped and whipped around, running back into the woods. She had forgotten her bag as well as the flowers and the card she had bought for Min’s mother back at the lake. She gave a bark for the wolves to continue and bounded off back into the territory.
Once back at the lake, she shifted and put everything in her bag and held it by the handle. She was forced to hold the flowers by their stems in her mouth as she carefully bade her back to the group near the edge of the territory. She shifted once more and walked up to them with the bag and flowers in hand. The rest of the wolves shifted as well, all beautifully wild all at once.
“Is everyone ready?” She asked, meeting eyes with every one around her, meeting Min’s last and nodding.
“You each know where to go. Keep your phones on and be on alert. And most importantly, stay safe.” She was the first to break out to the town, flipping her hood up to hide her eyes and casually blended into the mingling people. The rest of the wolves dispersed and slowly made their way into town.
(I'm so sorry, I had it all typed up and I shut my phone off for like two seconds and it all got deleted. So excuse me while I cry and try to regain my motivation please:
(Aw no! It’s ok! I absolutely hate when that happens! Take your time!)
(okay, I'm sorry I took so long. Also, have you seen Supernatural? Or even watched a little bit of it?)
He nodded to her before looking up at the sky, taking a deep breath only to swallow the lump in his throat.
He was nervous. But what for?
They were killing a normal human with nothing to use against them. Min-Hyuk wouldn't have gotten this many people or wolves for that matter, to help him. It was only going to be himself. Why? Because he could handle it himself. Again… This was just a normal human with drinking problems.
His mind wandered more as he walked. Do the wolves know something he doesn't? No… Why and how would they? This was Nathan they were talking about. As far as he knew, these dogs had no idea what he even looked like.
The more he thought of all of the possibilities, the more greatful he was for all of them helping him.
They soon neared the house and he looked around, though stopped in his tracks. His car was gone…but there were hard black skid marks leading in the opposite direction of the hospital….
"F*ck" he cursed with a growl before looking up at the white house next to his own. His friend lived right next to them, which is how they became friends in the first place. He slipped out his phone and rang up Ryuu.
(Yes, Netflix wont Bring season 15 and i need our baby Cas ahhhh! Why?)
Val reaches the hospital shortly and asked to see Ms Youn, explaining to the nurse that she was a family friend and that she had brought flowers. The nurse guided her to the room and left Val and Min’s mother alone. Val pulled up a chair and set the flowers in a vase, propping the little card up next to it on the window sill. She looked at Min’s mother and smiled softly, seeing traces of Min in her features. She gently took her hand “Miss Youn? I- I’m a friend of your son’s. He’l be here soon, he told me to go on ahead and leave the flowers and cards with you while he goes on and runs a few errands.”
(so I actually just started about 5 days ago and I'm in the beginning of season 4. Anyway! I was thinking maybe Nathan was like an ex-hunter (maybe only hunting vampires and werewolves because in this nothing else exists. Unless you want it to. It could make a kind of fun plot twist) or something and he's been kind if so mentally messed up and that's maybe why he drinks and is abusive n crap. Idk. Just an idea)
Min-Hyuks mother was quite young looking, as most Asian ladies her age looked it. She was about 45 but she couldn't really remember her own birthday.
So much head trauma to her brain had caused a slight bit of memory loss. Nathan had beat her, knocked her out so many times, when she wouldn't wake up he "staged" a car accident. Only hurting her more. Plus totalling their car. Since he was also in the accident nobody suspected anything and he only broke an arm and fractured a rib or two. He got lucky. Min-Hyuk always hated him for it. But that was a different story Min-Hyuk would probably tell Val some other day.
She had the same grey white mirrorlike eyes as her son, white streaks in her hair from obvious stress. Her hair was decently long, going down to reach her chest. She was skinny for sure and when she was younger she was quite curvy. That's where her daughter got it from. Turning her head to the lovely girl, she let out a weak smile.
"oh..my…" she says sitting up. She's been in the hospital for a while so she can walk around (slowly) and do basic things. She was still in rehabilitation though. She used to cook, but now Min-Hyuk cooks for the house. He's an amazing cook, he'll never admit.
"no no, that can't be right" she smiled, placing a hand on Vals. "I only have a daughter. Are you Seo Hyeons friend?" she asked innocently, and confused. It was genuine. Like Min-Hyuk had said before. She didn't remember him. Why him? Why not everything else? She remembered Nathan and Seo Hyeon. But she forgot how to cook and play the violin, she forgot her own son but she remembered living in Korea and her husband killed.
Why not her own son? It broke Mins heart. He did visit her, though saying he was just a friend. It would probably be best to say to be her daughters friend. Knowing her, she would bring Min up anyway. Even though she didn't know he was her son, she knew him as a friend.
On the other hand, Min-Hyuk talked to Ryuu on the phone.
"hey? min! Look, I'm sorry I di-" Ryuus friendly voice was interrupted by Min-Hyuks.
"where are you?"
"oh um… At my house"
"where's CC?"
"okay look Min, don't get mad. We're only-"
"where is she dammit?" Min growled
"at my house! We're only studying, I swear I didn't touch her. Please don't kill me" Ryuu says into the phone, looking at the doll like white haired girl sitting across from him with a pink pencil in her hand.
"good. Keep her there until I say otherwise. If you see Nathan, shoot him" he says sternly before hanging up.
(Yes! I love that! Maybe just keep it to wolves and vamps for now? Btw great show!)
Val’s heart broke when she heard only Min’s sister mentioned and not his. she had to look away from the woman to regain composure “ah yes. I’m Seo Hyeon’s friend as well, I just hear more about you from Min. Sorry for that. Is it okay if I stay a while? I know you don’t get many visitors other than your daughter and her…friend.” She looked the woman over, sadness clouding into her eyes. How could any human do something like this to such a beautiful lady. Not just appearance wise but soul and heart as well. Val could sense the immense love this woman held as well as the great sorrow and sadness. She kept her hand in the older woman’s “tell me about yourself. Your daughter and so…friend don’t really tell me much. I get why though.”
(I KNOW RIGHT!!!)
Min-Hyuk took a deep breath and tightened his fist, trying to calm down. Soon he started to follow the scent of his own car and Nathan who most likely reeked of alcohol. He didn't leave too long ago as his scent was quite prominent still. He got lucky. Well… Not Nathan.
As he got further he feared he knew where he was but he pushed aside his feelings and fear and followed the trail.
"oh! Min as in Min-Hyuk? What a darling boy he is. Whoever raised him raised him right" she says kindly. "how is he by the way? He hasn't been coming as often. Oh, I'm sure that lovely boy has plenty of friends. He's most likely busy" she laughed
(Ahhhh yus! Btw would like to be Nathan?)
Val smiled softly “he’s alright for now. I don’t know him that well. I only started going to school for a few weeks now, but he seems like a great kid, despite his sometimes pissy attitude.” She laughed softly “he’ll come and see you soon, don’t worry.” She nodded reassuringly and glanced around the room, feeling slightly tense. “Has anyone else come and seen you Miss Youn?”
(wait are you saying you want to me Nathan? If so I would have to give you a full on run down of his personality and such)
She let out a sigh, "well I'm glad he's gotten a friend. Take care of the poor boy. I can tell he's hurt" she says giving the girls hand a soft squeeze. "oh, um no. Wait, yes. My husband" she says with a soft smile, a fake one. "he was in the crash and his arm got broken. I guess he came here to tell me it was better" she smiled, lying straight through her teeth. She didn't see the point in telling her anything about Nathan other than Good things. Even if he hurt her constantly, she loved him. That was how she was. Nomatter how much someone hurt her she still loved them. Like a puppy.
Min-Hyuk chased his scent down to the barn. The barn?
He stopped, panting at the fence he leaned on with his eyebrows creased together. What was he doing there?
Soon he noticed something. A flame.
His eyes widened and his heart stopped. He was burning the barn down… No
Running up to the building, he approached the figure standing in the middle of the barn as the fire spread.
"what the fuck!?" he hissed, looking at him then around to the barn.
"I know what you are." the man smiled.
"SO THAT MEANS BURN THIS PLACE DOWN? ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE?" Min yelled at him.
"Nah, I just wanted to cause you pain before I cut your head off" Nathan scowled, a long thick knife in his hand
(Ah Sorry! I was asking if you wanted me to be Nathan,)
Val nodded “I’ll try my best.” She promised, squeezing her hand back.
Val listened to how Mrs Youn talked about Nathan and his arm. Val gritted her teeth slightly to keep a growl down. how could this woman love a man like that? One that constantly abused and hurt her to no end. And on top of that hurt her kids as well? she took a deep breath and stood. “Excuse me for a moment. I need to take a call.” She offered a small smile and stepped outside the room to call Chire.
“Hey, everything alright?”
“I feel off Chire, something’s not right. Has Min found Nathan yet?”
“kinda. Ash texted a few minutes ago saying that he and his group shifted to the north end of town. They say they followed Min to a barn and field just on the outskirts. They can’t get too close though, they smell fire.”
“Fire? At the barn?” Val covered her mouth to keep in a strangled breath.
(yeah it's fine! Lol)
(also, she doesn't know that Nathan hurts her kids too. She thinks it's like compensation if that makes sense. The more she gets beat the less her kids will get hurt.)
Min-Hyuk stepped forward, dodging a peice of flaming wood as it hurtled to the floor. This place was his only safe place he could go to and now it's being burnt to the ground.
And he knew..
"Oh come on. Tell me you didn't expect it. I knew you went here all the time. I was just plotting your murder right here" the man smiled, throwing a glass bottle at him, which he caught with quick reflexes and threw it over his shoulder. He hated the sound of breaking glass. He had plenty of PTSD already. The sound making him flinch, he took a breath only to cough on the smoke.
Min-Hyuk caught a glimpse of the blade in Nathans hand and cursed.
"a hunter Huh?" his voice growled.
"wow, I'm surprised! I thought you would have known sooner." a menacing laugh came from his mouth. His breath reeking if alcohol and his eyes bloodshot.
"well I'm not gonna sit here and chit chat. I've got a vampire to kill" he cackled before bolting forward as Min did the same.
(sorry if this may not be the best writing, I legit just woke up lol)
(Oh oki I see, and don’t worry it’s fine!)
“Val, stay there. You need to keep his mom safe in case Nathan comes.”
“Ok.”
“He’s going to be fine, we have wolves down there with him.”
“K”
Val backed back to Mrs Youn’s side and took her hand again, now for her own reassurance than anything else. he’a going to be ok…stop worrying.
The wolves shifted but stayed in the shadows of the field, concealed by the darkness of the night. The inches forwards every time they heard a yell or growl but didn’t make a move, fearing that they’d get in between something too brutal.
Dodging his movements and trying to get to him, he was truly an experienced hunter. He's fought them before but this was different. How did he not know? Yeah, he purposely didn't pay attention to Nathan and whenever he hurt his family it was when he was gone on a hunt so he didn't go crazy.
Slamming against the concrete floor of the barn, ash falling into his eyes and face, into the cut wounds on his arms and face.
A slash on his side stung like hell, but he tried his best to ignore that.
The blade held to his pale neck, drawing blood, his vision clouded with ash and smoke and his sense covered by the smoke and the cackling of the flames. All he had was his strength and sense of touch.
Pushing him off, sending Nathan flying, hitting a peice of wood to his back and groaning in pain. This bastard was smarter than he let on. Clouding almost all of his senses like this plus destroying the only place he considered a safe place.
Standing up, he tried not to mind the stinging pain of the thick cut on his neck. It definitely didn't cut deep enough for him to bleed out but man did it hurt.
"I'm gonna tear you to fucking shreds you got that" Min-Hyuk scoffed before he seemingly disappeared, but he was only too fast. Appearing right in front of the man as he stabbed at him, his shoulder bleeding a bit too much for comfort.
His hand went to punch him…in the chest?
No, it pierced his chest and broke his ribs, ripping straight to his heart before he ripped it out and threw it into the fire which surrounded them now. It would be more than dangerous trying to get out.
The pure anger gushing through his veins, his eyes showed no mercy or human in them. The smell of blood made him basically go crazy, though he kept it in. Not for long though. (because he's an angsty boi)
The mans eyes went wide as he trying to stab him till his last breath. And succeeding some. Stabbing the blade into his arm, just missing the bone before he fell to the ground.
From their Min basically went blind, taking the blade out and stabbing the corpse over and over again, yelling curses as tears fell down his face. No, not just fell. They flooded his eyes until they broke out. Sheer pain and anger in his cracking voice as he yelled over the flames. Blood covering his clothes, splattering on his face. Not daring to drink his blood.
Stopping only when the man was unrecognizable, as you could barely even tell it was a human once.
The vampire stood and peered at the "audience" watching from afar, his eyes red now, reflecting the flames perfectly.
This was what a true monster looked like. Beauty mixed with pain beyond what anyone could imagine, sheer anger and bloodlust.
He was a monster. The only thing he hoped for now was for Val to not see him like this. But most likely her brother would call her over.
He sighed, staying in the fire, letting the heat surround him. It felt nice for once. The heat. It felt like a big hug. That would be a good way to go… Right?
(this bois gonna kill himself if nobody intervenes by the way)
(I'm thinking maybe Val kind of convinces his not to Ya know.. Die. They're your characters, but I'm guessing the rest of the pack doesn't care about Min or give a crap about saving them. Idk, you can do what you want.)
(i got chu don't worry XD)
(Min went all mortal combat on nathan jeez dude)
She glanced down at a sleeping Mrs Youn and slipped out of the room, her heart sinking like lead She couldn't stay here, not with the smell of rubbing alcohol and the faraway screams of anguished patients. She called Ash and made her way to the for. "Switch with me, I can handle myself to there."
Ash shifted back and picked up the call "he's dead, Your vampire killed him. he doesn't look too good, his eyes..he's in a hysteria. He needs help but I don't think he'll let any of us get near him without a fight."
Val's heart pounded in her chest as she shoved through the door "What make you think I can calm him down, he's more likely to kill me for trying."
"Don't think so, he needs something and it's not blood or revenge." He glanced around at his wolves, holding out a hand to signal them to stay back. "He burnt it down Val, The one the vamp was after, he burnt it all down."
"I know, oh gods..I'm on my way. Tell Chire," she let the call drop before running off, in a few bound she shifted into her wolf form, amber eyes glowing bright in the night. She slowed to a trot once she was near the field, nodding her head to the wolves who had retreated back in fear for their lives. She nodded once to Ash who then bounded off to the hospital. Val watched him go before slowly making her way to the burning barn. She picked her way carefully around the fallen beams and looked around. She sat down, whimpering softly as she carefully scanned the area for min.
(yeaaaah he does that quite a bit actually)
The vampire was in the middle of the barn as it continued to collapse around him, fire and ash rising up to the sky. The fire department would surely be notified of this.
He didn't have to worry about the body now though, as it would have been burnt to ash. As he already basically crushed his bones.
Stepping back when he noticed Val, he cursed under his breath.
"what're you doing here?" he asked, his voice shaky. The pain visible through his eyes as the fire burned closer to his skin. (honestly, love this scene)
"you…-" he stopped, choking back a sob before he turned around. Like hell he was going to let her come into this fire. But if she did he would protect her.
Val let out a bark and then a growl, eyes flashing in the flickering light of the flame. No way was she going to come into the depths of a burning building for Min to turn his back on her. She crouched low as a beam fell close to their standing position then. She returned her attention back to min a stared in awe. How could someone so dangerous, so deadly, surround by something equally as deadly be so horrifyingly beautiful. She shook herself with another growl and jumped to his side, yelping slightly as she jumped a little too far and fire licked at her fur. She snuffed out her burning fur on the dusty floor and nudged Min's arm gently, smelling the stench of blood around him. She glanced around for an exit, finding one near the back of the barn where the wall had fallen in.
"Val, get the hell out. You're going to get yourself killed" he snapped at her, though noticing the fire close to her fur. He scowled and sighed, stepping closer to her.
"are you alright?" he asked, reaching to touch her but noticing all if the blood and ash on him. He looked like a monster to her didn't he? The last thing he wanted at the moment.
Retracting his hand and letting it fall to his side. "s-sorry" he says softly, a tear falling down his pale cheek, dripping and mixing with the blood. His shirt torn in multiple places as he took his hoodie off before hand. No way was he going to ruin another hoodie.
Bloody, deep cuts running along his skin, though it was hard to tell what blood what his and what wasn't other than the obvious slit in his neck.
She gently nudged his shoulder with her head. letting him know it was fine, she had seen worse. He tugged at his shirt and stood, walking in a circle before tilting her head up to the opening of the barn. Val let out a soft 'awoo' and nudging her nose into his hand, ignoring the smell of coppery blood and the cuts on his arm and chest. Instead she focused on comforting Min for now, hoping to urge him into a walk.
He let out a breath, the smell of his normal "manly" lavender (yes, the thats thing. A literal thing and it's hilarious) now gone.
Looking over to her, he made his way out of the barn, not wanting to at all. Hopefully the basement of this place was alright. Probably.
Once he stepped out of the barn, he made sure Val was alright. He still couldn't see quite clearly, but he sensed it was her.
The white of his eyes were a black grey and the veins around his eyes were dark and sickly.
"why…. Why are you here?" he says leaning on her a bit.
