"correct. And I'm gonna send him there myself" he says calmly "anyway, no he doesn't. I've planned it all out anyway." he shrugged, stepping towards her and grabbing her hand. "hey, you okay? You don't have to worry or get mad about this. I can handle this on my own. Once moms better" he pulled her to him, though not hugging or doing anything to Her I'm case she wouldn't want to.

(awwwwwwahhhhhh it counts as a hug!!!! ahhhhhh
and i've heard boy in a bubble but not the other two, I'll take a look!)
She stopped when he took her hand and glanced up, "No. I haven't been okay since mom was attacked. I haven't been okay since the day I had to learn how to be an adult without my mother and father. Since I was forced to watch my brother grow into an Alpha. I've learned to live through it. But I will not let another family be destroyed like mine was." She drew in a shaky breath and slowly rested her head on his shoulder, grateful for his stability "you don't have to do this alone Min, I can help too, and Chire. He'd be willing to help if he knew the situation."
Min wasn't about to let someone help him with anything. He needed to protect his family himself even if they didn't love him.
He heeded to do this alone. Having help just proved everyone right. That ur was weak. Just a stupid boy who can't do anything right. Who couldn't even protect his own family from a pitiful human.
"no" he says strictly. "I won't let you, not Chire. I won't let anyone. I can do this myself. I don't need help. I'm sorry about your life, and I know you want to help. But I'm not going to let you. I deserve to be alone anyway."
(aAaAh)
Val lifted her head from his shoulder and shook her head. Hot, angry tears were quickly brushed away from her cheeks as her gaze met his again, golden eyes meeting his red ones with just as much stubbornness as his. "You're more of an idiot than I thought if you think that I'm going to let you order me around Min-Hyuk. Not even my brother gets away with that. Much less a self-centered vampire who thinks he's alone in a world and that can't get his emotions in check. Well guess what? you're not and you never will be. I'm helping whether you like it or not. She let out a defiant growl and smirked. She squeezed his hand before letting go and singing his bike keys in her hand. Before he could react, she bolted to the bike
He held her hand tight at first but relaxed after a few seconds. And that was his mistake.
"you little bitch" he says with a laugh before chasing after her, barely getting to her. His bike took a few seconds to start up and he took advantage of that.
Catching up to her and grabbing her arm "really?" he asked more confused than anything. "you think you're going to ride my bike without me in front then you're dead wrong princess" he hissed. It was obvious his bike was one of his lost prized possessions. Like hell he was going to let this dog get away with this
"Then we're in agreement. You won't let me ride the bike. Just as i won't let you do this alone. She arched an eyebrow, daring him to contradict her. "You're not alone in this world Min. you never will be. I get it if you want to be the one to end Nathan's life and therefore your family's suffering but know there will be others that are going to help. Whether you want them to or not." She dropped the keys in his hand "you're right about the bitch part, I am a female canine after all. You're wrong about me being a princess. I'd take that to heart if you don't want your bike to suddenly go missing for a few hours. After all, you don't really need keys to run it, do ya?" she smiled innocently before gently taking her arm back and walking back to where her back pack had been dropped
He bit his lip in frustration, clenching the keys in his pale hands. "you little…" he smirked with a small chuckle. "you really are something. Annoying, but impressive" he says following her. "and I swear, if you take my bike I'll toss your life. Learn to respect someone else's property. I don't have much Ya know." he glared, stepping up to Her before stopping. "anyway, how could you help me Huh?"
She bowed theatrically with a smirk "thanks, I really do try." she rolled her eyes with a smile and sat down next to her back pack. "I wouldn't do anything bad to it. I'd just ride it around for a bit and then bring it back, It'd be like no one ever moved it." She glanced up at him, more serious now. "i have my own resources that can be utilized once motivated. Some wolves are less posed to killing your kind, though it'd take more convincing. Some would be posted at the hospital to watch over your mother to make sure she'd stay safe in case Nathan got to her. The others would be surrounding your home to make sure he can't get away. if things escalate between you two then they'll intervene, weaken him so you can deliver the killing blow. If they see that you don't need help, they'll stay out of the fight. Afterwards, if feds get involved, they'd stand as witnesses to a suicide attempt instead of an assault."
"the hospital part might be of use" he says tapping his chin before sitting down beside her. "other than that, I wouldn't let him get away. He's a human. A suicide won't look like what I'll do to him. I'm going to rip him to shreds and scorch his corpse. Either that or feed his body to the dogs. I'm tearing him apart either way" he says feeling the hatred rise up in his chest more and more with each word that slipped from his cold lips.
He turned to her and relaxed his fist at his side and let out a cold breathed sigh. "sorry." his gaze turned away from hers
"hey, someone else can have him, i'm sure none of us want that stinking excuse for a human." she growled. "it's alright. You have every right to be mad. I'm sorry I called you an idiot before. I didn't mean that…fully." she offered a small side smile "and for the bike, I wasn't actually going to take it. Not that I could do much once on. I just needed to prove a point." sighing softly, she found her phone and checked the time. "so wen are you planning to do this? I can have a few wolves at the hospital by tonight."
He smiled back a small bit before playfully shoving her shoulder when she mentioned the bike. This little devil. He never knew how to feel about her. And he wasn't sure if he would ever know.
"shes supposed to be released tomorrow night. So tonight would be good" he nodded. "and I wasn't meaning you by the way. I wouldn't do that to you guys." he chuckled, glancing down at his bruised knuckles before pulling his hoodie sleeves over them.
She laughed at the playful shove and gently pushed back.
"Then tonight we'll be at the hospital, a few of us on the inside, a few patrolling outside. We're going to have to tell her what we are if we want her to trust us. She doesn't need to know what you are yet but she will find out soon, so i suggest telling her sooner than later if you want to keep her safe." she said ,glancing down at his hand and frowning slightly. He and his family would truly never be safe as long as Nathan lived, no matter how strong Min claimed to be, he'd still get hurt.
"A few betas with be posted around your home just for extra precaution."
"wait, I think the pack, or some of them, however many youre planning on bringing.. Should stay outside of the hospital. Though you can go in. You don't have to say what you are. Just say you're my friend and you wanted to meet her. She'll be doing nothing else. You just have to make sure nobody gets into Her room. That's all" he paused, looking back down at the tips of his fingers hooked onto the cuff of the sleeves of his hoodie, fiddling around with them. "the only way I'll need back up is if he's already there or left the house. Ill have Ryuu take care of my sister" he says quieter. He wasn't very used to saying his plans out loud to anyone, so he was basically talking to himself. Though nothing against Val.
"I appreciate this though" he stopped, offering a small, yet sweet smile.
She smiled softly "alright, I'll stay with her until this is over, everyone else can stay outside. I'll only shift if I have to. The rest of the pack will stay half a mile away from the house. Far enough away to not immediately intervene, close enough to both the hospital and the house in case they need to split up." she said. "does your friend and sister know what's going on? we could have a beta out there close to them in case they need protecting too if you want." she offered, lightly resting her hand over his. "It's going to be okay min, you'll see." she said, taking her hand backhand standing up, readying herself to head back inside for her next class
He thought about it for a second. He trusted none of the dogs around his sister. Other than maybe Val.
"wait, what about Chire?" he asked standing up with her. "would he be in this? If so I would like for him to stay with my sister. Her boyfriend can't protect her alone and quite frankly, I don't trust any other wolf around her." he says taking his hands through his hair.
"and no, they don't know. I don't want them to know. I'll… Say something else did it. Maybe he disappeared. I don't know, but they're not going to know I did this. She'll be more scared of me than ever."
She nodded in understanding "of course. I'll let Chire know and tell him where to be when the time comes." She shouldered her backpack and headed for the doors. "meet me here after school so we can go over everything. she turned to him before opening the door "Not having them know is probably for the best, but she won't stay fooled for long." she warned gently "she's a smart kid, she'll find out eventually." she nodded goodbye before slipping inside and being hit by a wave of perfume. She was followed by the three girls again all the way to her class before the cent dropping when she got to choir
He let out a small sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose before shoving his hands in the pockets of his hoodie and walking into the school himself.
His own class was in the same direction as hers, so he saw the girls. Two of them were his daily flirts. No, he wasn't a flirt himself. But they sure we're. Two blonde girls that annoyed the hell out of him when they would flirt with him.
So he quickly ducked his way out of there and slipped into his classroom..
(what If what if what if, for like relationship Development, someone would be flirting with min or Val and then the other comes and is like hella pissed but they don't know why and so they kind of just intervene for no real reason other than their feelings.??????? )
(yuuusssss!!! what if it's the two girls you just mentioned?)
Val was static, hell if there was a word for more excited than static she'd use it but for now, that's as far as her vocabulary would allow. The teacher mentioned a performing arts extension that included dance. Val had loved dancing as a kid, more than singing actually but never really got to express it. This is also where her love for elaborate costume came from. She immediately signed up before class began and was handed the schedule for practice. The whole entire class, she sang her heart out, now very exited to do something she so deeply loved
(I was setting that up a little 😅)
He sat in class with the same bored, sad expression he usually does as he thought about what would be happening tonight. Would this work? The physiological institution already had it out for him, keeping an eye on him ever since the incident. (how he does in my og sorry :3)
This would most likely cause more trouble. They wouldn't blame him for it would he? No, he would make it look like an animal attack in the woods. It would be fine… Right?
He was overthinking and worrying too much now. It was clouding his mind so much so that he didn't realize that the bell had already rang and the students were all standing up and flooding the halls
Val gathered her things and slipped out of class. She glanced around before going out the back door, yelping softly when she was met by the three girls.
One of them snickered when they saw Val jump. “So, Valerie is it? You’re the new girl?” One of the girls, tall and blonde, asked. Val nodded slowly and took in the appearance, beautiful but fake. “Yes, I am. Is there some I can do for you?” She glanced around cautiously, kind of on edge.
“You hang around Min-Hyuk quite a lot, dontcha?”
She nodded slowly “yeah, I guess. He was assigned as my guid and help until I get adjusted to The school.”
The girl nodded “cute. Never took him as a helper…” she shrugged, casually tossing a piece of hair over her shoulder “anyways, I was kinda of hoping to…get some help…from him too, if you could mention me around him so it’s not so awkward, I’d very much appreciate it.” She smiled sweetly before strutting away, her hips swaying a bit too aggressively. Val shook herself slightly and stared after the three, thinking the whole situation off. “Alright…”
He stared blankly outside the window, letting the sun shine on him through the clouds. It burned his skin a little and he knew his face would be a bit red for a little bit, but he didn't care. He was too distracted. So now with the partials glowing in the ray of sun through the window and the classroom dead silent with not a soul but him in the room… He sat there. Thinking about more than he should have been.
The main subject? Val.
Of course. That's all his mind has been on lately. This stupid, beautiful, amazing, funny idiot who keeps on barging on into his life and she can't push her away. And quite frankly… He didn't want to.
What would he have done if she did leave him? He knew she wouldn't anyway, so why did he try? Just in case? Because everyone did… Right? Everyone left him. So of course she would to.
Mentally slapping himself across the face and told himself to stop wallowing in self pity. It's only gonna drive people away.
But that's what he wanted right?
Standing up and shaking himself from his moodiness, he hoisted his bag over his shoulder and stepped out of the classroom with a sigh. Trying to make his chest not feel so heavy and weak. Afraid he was going to collapse right there.
Now that he thought about it, he hadn't eaten in about two month.
"fuck" he says aloud. He needed something to eat before he went mad. And he didn't want Val to know what he would turn into if he didn't.
So not seeing her at the end of the hall, he ran out to the back of the school before he got too dizzy.
Val waited around for a while, hoping Min hadn’t forgotten to meet her. After a while she sighed softly and started home, walking slowly in case she caught him in town or near the forest. Having no such luck, Val shifted once at the tree line and sprinted to the lake, having told Chire to meet her there for something important. To her relief, her brother would always be dependent and was sitting on a higher rock, nibbling on a bird he probably had hunted. Val nuzzled his head in greetings. She loved her big brother, despite him sometimes being hard on her. She knew he only wanted the best. He nudged back and offered her the rest of the plump bird. She gratefully accepted while he licked his lips and sat up to shift “so what’s up? You said it was important.”
Val finished off the bird, licked the blood from her lips and also shifted
“It’s about Min and his family.”
She could feel Chire’s guard raise as he turned his head towards her, eyes narrowing “go on.”
She took a deep breath, glad her brother would at least listen.
She told him about Min’s problem with Nathan and his mom. She also told him the plan and how she was thinking about splitting the pack throughout the town to minimize danger to both the family and the pack.
She waited anxiously as she watched her brother cycle through all the information. “And who’s going to be blamed for this when it’s all done? If he says it was an animal attack, park rangers will come and force us farther into the forest. We can’t afford another push back, not with spring coming and new pups to feed.” Last time rangers were forced to come, Chire and few other betas had torn the vampire to shred in the middle of town for anyone and everyone to see. From then on no had dared come to the woods in fear of the wolves.
“We would testify for an unknown violent act brought on by Nathan.” She said, not fully convinced that would work but it was the best she had. Chire nodded slowly, also not convinced but knowing it’d have to do. “I’ll see who I can recruit.”
Val jumped up and hugged her brother “thank you big brother! Thank you so much!”
Slipping down to the ground against a tree, he winced in pain and dizziness. A blur coming over his eyes and his head pounded. Being a vampire in this state definitely wasn't the best. He was just lucky he got out of the school building in time or else he would have ended up killing someone. Hearing their heartbeats a little over a block away. He hated it as it went along with his own cold blood pumping through his veins and anyone's near.
Getting up and stumbling around a bit before regaining his grasp on life and what was going on. School still had the rest of the day to go through. So he had time to get something to eat.
He got out his phone, wincing in pain at his migraine and texted Val. "meet me behind the school at the forest border. Please"
Val glanced over to her bag when she heard her phone ring and pulled away from the hug. She read over the text, her brow creasing in worry. Chire looked over her shoulder and tilted his head “never knew a vampire for being polite…or desperate.” She nodded in agreement and gave him her bag “somethings wrong. I’ll be back by moonrise. If not, come looking for me.” Chire was going to protest heavily but he knew she’d argue back “fine. Two hours and I’m coming back.”
Val nodded, hugged him once more and ran off, texting Min before shifting and sprinting to the said place “on my way.” she let out a small howl and broke into a long stride, letting her instincts take over as she made her way around the beloved territory to where Min was.
Approaching slowly, she let out a small bark, hating how Min looked. She walked up to him and gently nudged his shoulder to wakeboard him before backing away to give him room
