Another purple colored barrier materialized around them. "Uh, no. No, I live here, and I would like to keep living here for a while. I also have friends living here. So no, wait until we are outside and away from here, to turn them into burned bacon."
"Oh come on. Please? I've been underground for five years. Trapped by these shits. I deserve this. Its personal." His eyes were now solid orange.
"First of all watch your language there are kids here. Second of all, I never said you couldn't, I just said not here," Kye explained.
Ethyn frowned and rolled his eyes.
Kain had been outside faster than you could blink and hadn't even broke a sweat but he was still panting in ragged breaths not of exertion but because of fear so he sat down on the ground by a couple bushes but made sure he was hidden from the prying eye
"Come on Kye, I'm not a kid anymore," her voice grew serious. She initally started out in a playful voice, but now she had serious things to say. "You aren't a kid or a teenager when your life has been stolen from you. Fuuuuck." she ended. "Oh god, they're coming, aren't they. Crap, let's just go, okay?" She dashed down the stairs. When she saw Kain, her heart melted and she softened her voice. "You okay, kid?"
"Wasn't expecting that but agree with her. She can stop being a kid when she wants to." He was still on fire but he darted down the hall and vaulted over the stair railing, fell down the middle of the stairwell, rolled and came up running. He joined the others outside.
"I wasn't necessarily talking about those two kids," Kye corrected as he started down the stairs. The door above him was kicked in and he was sent into a sprint.
I think it's safe to say that this has gone from manageable to bad.
I would have to agree.
"Hi," Ava greeted Ethyn in a solemn voice when she detected him out of the corner of her eye.
(Would you like the explanation of the side conversation in PM or here?)
(PMs probably, so we don't disturb the natural flow of the rp too much)
(Okay)
Kye burst out of the building. "Gotta go," he snapped sprinting past everyone. He cinched down his backpack strap as he ran to keep it from falling off and flinging around as he ran.
"Why is he-?" Ethyn asked. His eyes were still solid orange and it was starting to be creepy. "Was he like that before I arrived or is it just me?"
"I don't know, do we follow him?" Ava asked, confused. "Yeah, I'm not going to wait for an answer," she said a split second later. "Besides, well," she looked back at the stairwell nervously, as if to say, There are FBI Agents chasing us… "If anyone wants to come with me, they can come." And with that she broke into a run, a faster than normal one at that, since she was used to running. She quickly caught up with Kye. "Where are we going? And don't you think running like this down the street is a little, you know, suspicious?"
"Damn, she's fast. Come on kid, we'd better not lose them." Ethyn reached out his hand to Kain before realizing it was still blackened and talon like and withdrawing it. He jogged after Ava and Kye.
"It won't be suspicious if I do this!" He sprinted past a ground of people that were hanging out. They looked like group of friends. He reached out and tapped one on the shoulder as he raced past. "TAG, YOU'RE IT!!!" He sprinted away like a mad man, while the people looked confused for a moment, before grinning and turning to give chase.
"He's crazy," Ethyn said, jogging up next to Ava.
Ava's eyes popped wide open. What the hell was Kye doing? That'd only attract more attention! A grown man randomly starting a game of tag? That was definitely out of the ordinary, in her opinion. "…yeah, that's very obvious now."
Ethyn shrugged. "Not the weirdest thing I've ever seen."
Kye zig zagged through crowds of people tagging people at random until chaos had ensued. People running in every direction trying to tag each other. It was getting more and more chaotic.
This is more brilliant than I first thought.
Oh? How so?
If those guys really are FBI they aren't likely to open fire with this many people running around out here. There's to much of a risk that they'll hit a civilian. Even if they see you with this many people it'll hard for them to get to you.
I do think things through you know.
Rarely.
Also true.
"Well, somehow that worked." Ethyn pulled the hoodie back on and slipped on some wrap-around shades (like the ones Crowley from Good Omens has) . "Those'll help keep me inconspicuous." He said before running after Kye again.
(help also when Ava found Kain he would have hugged her cause he was scared)
Kain had followed Ava and the others but couldn't stop hearing gunshot ringing in his head
Kye had vanished in the crowds of people that were running around. The noise of laughter and screams of joy from the children drowned out anything else. Kye suddenly appeared next to Ava and Kain, grabbing both and pulling them out of the chaos. "Stay here," he ordered before turning and disappearing again in the chaos.
Kain plopped down sitting criss-cross on the ground
Ethyn skidded to a halt at a street corner next to an old cafe. He leant against the bricks and waited, thoughts racing through his head.
