Before Ava took off:
Ava sighed. "Aw kid, it's gonna be alright, soon enough, okay?"
Present:
"Wha-what? What are you gonna do?" she called out after Kye. He was acting different for some reason, and she didn't know why. What was going on? She was so confused. She hadn't felt like this in forever.
Kye suddenly sprinted out of nowhere to Ethyn. "Hey, let's go, the other two are waiting," he tapped Ethyn's shoulder and backed up. "We need to get out of here before the riot police show up."
"Right. Yeah. Riot police." Ethyn shook himself and trudged along with Kye.
Kain looked up at Ava "Is everything o-okay? Ar-are we going t-to be okay?" he was shaking some from cold some from fear

"Um, yeah," Ava lied, forced a smile onto her face. "Ah, come here kid, it'll be okay," she embraced Kain in a hug.
Kain hugged Ava back but he was still crying in fear “I’m scared Ava”

"Yeah, I know kid," she sighed. "It'll be okay…"

Kain whimpered fear dug its claws into his heart
"I know…" She sighed again, and held him closer. "Kye'll be here soon… I'll keep you safe."
a girl rushes up "You HAVE to help me!
they're coming!"
"Say what? Look, who are you running from? Have you seen those FBI agents again?" Ava exclaimed.
Kain jumped as the girl came running towards them “aah”
Kye turned on his heel and started back to the other two kids. He started at a slower jog and then spotted the other girl with them and sped up more.
"Another one?" Ethyn groaned. "How many kids are we gonna have to look after?"
"Technically, I'm looking after all of you, so stop complaining and throw some fireworks into the sky or something. Add to the chaos," Kye shrugged.
Ethyn grinned. "Thought you'd never ask." He shot a few firebursts into the air and spotted a store with fireworks advertised in the front window. He dashed over, stole a few large ones and set them off as well, just for good measure.
(I kinda ship Kye and Ethyn and I can't deal)
Kain stared at the fireworks, fascinated but scared at how random they were, and sat there
(Well than you'd probably be disappointed to know that he has a girlfriend.)
Kye slid to a halt by the kids. "Hey, we gained one but we're gonna head down this way as soon Ethyn gets here," Kye panted, pointing in the direction they were going to go.
"But seriously," Ava grimaced. "Don't make it too chaotic…"

Ethyn skidded up beside them. "Right, distraction achieved." He stumbled over a crack in the concrete and almost fell over.
