He shrugged a little, then smiled. "Oh! That sounds fun. If yeh want me ta come along, anyways."
He shrugged a little, then smiled. "Oh! That sounds fun. If yeh want me ta come along, anyways."
“Of course I do. I wouldn’t have invited you if I didn’t, you know.” Wilhelm stretched again, checking the time. “Should I get dressed? I’m not sure if I want to stay in my pajamas until I go.”
Connor sighed, rolling into his stomach now, the blankets tangled around his body. "Mm? Oh. Yeah. Er. You can change if yeh want, ah guess."
“I may as well.” Wilhelm stood up, taking a moment to stretch once again. He went over to his dresser, picking out his clothes for the day.
Connor sighed, closing his eyes and burrowing into the blankets and trying to ignore the fact that it smelled like Wilhelm. That he could imagine all too well the other male's body. He blushed just a little bit at the thought.
Wilhelm took a moment to get dressed, mainly because he was distracted by a bird outside before he had put his shirt on. Once he had actually finished changing, though, he spent a moment making sure he looked presentable. Corduroy work pants and a comfortable button-up, as usual. He planned to be outside a good portion of the day, so it was only logical to wear more functional clothes.
Connor had cheated. Just a little. He might have happened to peek at Wilhelm, but only for a second! It wasn't like he had watched the whole time or anything.
“There are so many robins out, just look!” His eyes lit up at the sight of the birds, a stupid smile on his face. He stood at the window, looking out at the giant flock of birds on the grass. “Today must be a great day for worms, huh? Well- not for worms, but for catching them- you understand what I mean.”
(I gtg soon)
He laughed a little, looking out the window. "Yeah. Th' Robin's will have a feast." He replied with a smile.
(alright, no issue!)
“That’ll be good for them.” He nodded, sitting back down on his bed. Wilhelm moved his book to the nightstand, still fussing with the buttons on his shirt.
Connor sighed softly, and went back to his own bed, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah. They'll get nice an' fat." He chuckled softly.
“Which in turn is great for the foxes, of course.” Wilhelm finally settled on leaving the top two buttons on his shirt undone, as usual. “Have you seen them yet? There’s a family of foxes that lurks around here sometimes.
Connor shook his head. "No, ah haven't." he replied, cocking his head to look at Wilhelm. "Ah hope ah do, though. Foxes 're beautiful."
“These ones especially. I think I saw one the other day.” Wilhelm sighed dreamily. “Maybe we’ll see one or two today, since all the birds are out.”
He smiled. "Tha' would be nice." he replied. He fished around for clothes to get dressed.
Wilhelm nodded, not saying much else on the topic. He picked his book back up, thumbing through the pages until he got back up where he left off.
Connor found his clothes, and changed into them. He took a moment to test his ribs. The bruises were light, hardly there anymore.
Wilhelm struggled not to look at Connor, but he managed it. The boy crossed his legs, trying to decide if he even wanted to wait for the rain to evaporate before going out- no, not really.
Connor finished buttoning up his shirt, letting out a breath.
“..I know I said I would wait for the water to clear before going out, but I think I’ll die if I stay in here, not to be dramatic.” Wilhelm laughed, shutting his book and standing up.
He laughed a little bit. "Mm. Alrigh'." he replied, stretching. "Still alrigh' wi' me comin' along?"
“Of course.” Wilhelm put on his work boots, nodding. “It’ll be muddy, but I’m sure you’re already expecting that.”
Connor nodded, putting on boots and a jacket. "Yeah, alright." he looked at Wilhelm with a quick smile.
Wilhelm tugged on his jacket, picking up his notepad and a pen. “Alright! Are we ready to leave?”
He nodded a little. "Yeah. Let's go." he replied with a faint smile, fastening his jacket shut.
