He managed to steady his breathing, heart rate following after. The rain still came down in heavy sheets outside, but Wilhelm was growing too tired to focus on it as much.

Connor kept holding Wilhelm, his own eyes growing heavy with tiredness. He rubbed Wilhelm's upper back gently, absently.
Wilhelm eventually fell asleep, holding onto Connor. He wasn’t clinging to him, only had his arms somewhat around the other boy.
Connor still had his arms around Wilhelm. I should go… but Wilhelm was warm, and Connor still felt cold, and he was just so tired…what harm would it do if he stayed?
Wilhelm stirred slightly, moving to hold Connor just a little more. He shivered from cold, tucking his form in just a little bit.
Connor held onto Wilhelm. He pulled up a blanket over them, drifting off to sleep. It won't hurt anything…
(should we ts to when one of them wakes up?)
Wilhelm was still fast asleep, although his shivers had subsided for now.
(hm probably a good idea)
Connor kept sleeping, snuggled up against Wilhelm.
Wilhelm finally woke up, surprised to see Connor was still there, to say the least. He was a little embarrassed by the night before, but not nearly as embarrassed as he was when Wilhelm realized that he was clinging onto Connor.
Connor was still sound asleep. At some time during the night, he had snuggled up close to Wilhelm, his cheek leaning on the other boy's shoulder.
Wilhelm was relieved that it wasn’t only him that had gotten close during the night, at least. He peeked outside the window, though he didn’t get up or move. The sun still hadn’t risen yet- it must’ve been early in the morning, maybe 2 or 3:00.
Connor let out a sleepy little sound, and somehow managed to burrow even closer to Wilhelm, still asleep.
He shut his eyes, letting out a soft breath. He placed his hands on the top of Connor’s back, keeping him close. Wilhelm drifted in and out of sleep for a little while longer, keeping the other boy close.
Connor was sleeping soundly, curled up with Wilhelm. Eventually, he awoke, blinking his eyes open a little bit. The first thing he was really aware of was the fact that there was a warm body pressed against his. Then he remembered that it was Wilhelm, and why.
Wilhelm was asleep again, although it didn’t last longer than a few more minutes. He slowly woke up, blinking the sleep out of his eyes. Wilhelm yawned, turning away from Connor when he did so.
Connor let out a sigh, stretching a little bit, though he didn't remove his arms from around Wilhelm, or his cheek from the German boy's shoulder.
“..Are you awake..?” Wilhelm’s voice was once again half-asleep and groggy, slightly gritty. He nearly ran his fingers through Connor’s curls, through he stopped himself before he did.
"Mmm…" Connor let out a tuneless hum, closing his eyes again and staying snuggled up with Wilhelm. "No."
“No? Sleep-talking, that’s kind of weird.” Wilhelm laughed softly, sitting up just a little. He hadn’t realized his hands were still on Connor’s back.
Connor's eyes flicked open when he felt Wilhelm move, and realized he was being pulled a little. He readjusted his hold on Wilhelm so that he wouldn't fall.
“Did I pull you at all? Sorry, sorry.” Wilhelm moved his hands, finally remembering where they were. He ran his fingers through his hair and yawned again, his jaw audibly popping lightly.
"'s alrigh'." He replied softly, reluctantly letting go of Wilhelm. He didn't want to, but…it was awkward enough that he had fallen asleep in the other male's bed.
Wilhelm ran his fingers through Connor’s hair out of instinct, feeling the reluctance in the boy’s movements. “Are you feeling better? I know you were sneezing a lot last night..” He asked quietly, head tilted.
Connor automatically leaned into Wilhelm's hands, shutting his eyes again. "Mmhmm…ah'm fine. Ah think. Still early, we'll see."
“True, true.” Wilhelm continued to comb through Connor’s curls, sighing softly. He adjusted the blanket on them, although he was mostly just smoothing it out.
