"Fine, you got me there." He shook his head hopping his bluff- though not very good- would have worked. "This is like a forced vacation." He added, his tone now joking.

@Dirt

"Again?" Karkota gave a shocked look at her. "What's that even supposed to mean? How did it even happen the first time?" He stiffled a laugh, imaging it.

Without even thinking about it, Tessa told him without hesitation. "My half brother and his father live in Hawaii. The first time I came to visit, Ronan offered to give me the Hawaiian experience. I then found myself being chucked into the ocean with him laughing his ass off."

@Dirt

Karkota didn't bother hiding his laugh this time. Though he did make sure he didn't laugh to loud and interrupt the class. "Well, that must of been en experience. Not a Hawaiian one, but deffently an experience of sorts."

@ElderGod-kirky group

She snorted and shook her head. "It was definitely an experience. A wet one that I don't really recommend. Especially since I was wearing my favorite outfit!" She huffed like a child, not looking at all like a deadly killer.

@Dirt

Karkota smiled, but even when Tessa did seem nothing like she really was, he knew the truth. Someone who would probably kill him if given the order.
"Well tell you what, if you don't murder me, I'd be more then glad to give you the real Hawaiian experience."

@ElderGod-kirky group

"Unlikely. You'd probably book it the second you're free from me. Avoid me as much as humanly possible." She continued to watch group after group, impressed and proud of each one of them.

@Dirt

"Most likely. But hey, who's to say we don't become some kind of friends?" Karkota shot a glace her way. Never taking his eyes off the groups for long.

@Dirt

Karkotas eyebrows shot up. He didn't know what he expected really. In fact he hadn't really known why they'd shipped him off with her, instead of keeping him locked in a room. Maybe he just assumed they where nice and didn't want him to go crazy. "Well thanks for putting that off." He seemed almost rigged, his tone taking on a new edge.

@Dirt

Wasn't for his sake, Karkota narrowed his eyes. Would every moment be waiting to be tortured for the information they wanted? He nodded his head, acknowledging what she'd said.

Tessa fell silent as she watched the rest of the dancers. Pretty soon, they were all done, Danny had paid her, and she could leave. She leafed through the money as she asked Karkota, "Ready to go?"

@Dirt

"Do I have a choice?" Karkota had completely pushed away whatever uneasiness he'd had. He figured if she was going to hurt him, fighting back would be a bad idea.

@ElderGod-kirky group

"I asked, didn't I?" Her stomach growled. "Scratch that–nevermind. I'm getting some food." She wouldn't wait for him for this. She waved him over as she walked out of the studio and headed for a random cafe that was nearby to satisfy her stomach.

@Dirt

Karkota raised an eyebrow, he had a choice? Of course he'd go, after all what could he do? Decide to be defiant and stay in the studio all day?
Though at the mention of food he gladly followed. "Where are we going?" He asked, his own stomach growling.

@ElderGod-kirky group

"A cafe I like going to after work," she said, grabbing him and darting across the street before any more cars passed. The thing about the city is you take whatever chances you had, even if it was risky.

@Dirt

(Ah, imma be gone longer then I thought. Sorry.)

Karkota was shocked that she just darted across the street like that. In fact he was sure they'd get hit by a car. When they didn't, and made it safely across he let out a breath of relief. "So you're dragging me to your favorite places now?" He joked.

@ElderGod-kirky group

(It's okay!)

"Relax, pretty boy. I know what I'm doing," she said with an eye roll, commenting on his breath of relief. "And the only reason I'm taking you here is that I want to go there. Don't be thinking something else," she added, wagging her finger playfully.

@Dirt

Karkota raised his hands in defeat, "calm down-" he realized he had yet to ask her name. At this point would it be awkward? He shook his head at himself, "so I just realized, I don't know your name." he said sheepishly, not knowing if she'd tell him, or just brush his question off. After all, its not like they where friends.

@ElderGod-kirky group

The corner of her lip quirked up in amusement. "About damn time," she commented. "Theresa Hunt, but you can just call me Tessa." She inclined her head in expectation, knowing damn well her past had been plastered all over the newspapers.

@Dirt

Karkota knew the name sounded familiar, but couldn't remember from where. "Tessa." He said, hoping saying her name would somehow mean he wouldn't forget it.
Then it hit him.
Karkotas jaw dropped as he looked at her. Relizazion dawning on his face.

@ElderGod-kirky group

"Yeup," she said, popping the p, "I'm the abused, murderous, traitorous criminal known as the Golden Huntress. Who's been from foster home to foster home. Who killed her own foster-brother because he beat me senseless with a crowbar." She tapped her slightly caved-in cheekbone. "Probably the Mafia's most useful weapon since she was 12 and sentenced to execution." Her voice was blank as she spoke.

@Dirt

The way she spoke scared Karkota. How could someone talk about such things so calmly? Was she trying to freak him out? If so, it was working. He knew the stories. The news, the paper. It had been plastered everywhere. He'd even heard of it all the way in Hawaii. Back then he thought he'd never meet a killer. Then he learned who his father was. Now to top it all off he was living with the girl who'd given him nightmares as a kid. Karkota couldn't fimd the words to respond. Who would? Heck what was someone even ment to say?
