(Hey love! How long are you on for?)
(Hey love! How long are you on for?)
((Til 9-ish))
(Sweet. Alright let me write up a response.)
((kk))
Insanity chewed on his lip and poked Deathβs shoulder. βHey, umβ¦ I think I should keep an eye on her. Just toβ¦ make sure she is the real deal. You know?β
βOh?β Death asked, turning to him. βWhy so? She looks a lot like the description we were given.β
βWhy not?β Insanity retorted, straightening his back.
Dhiscord lifted her eyes to Insanity. What was he doing? Why was he stopping this? She looked to Death and then back to the other God. She raised a brow and smirked.
Insanity shook out his hair, the long locks fluffing out at the ends. βEven if she is Dhiscord, I can run experiments on her and her Magic. So itβs not a lost cause to have her here.β
Deathβs smile seemed to falter a little. βIf you keep her here, fine. Keep her locked up and away from Cupid.β
Cupid⦠Who was Cupid? And why must she be kept away. She'd just been given a second chance at life and they thought her stupid enough to waste it?
She sighed. "Does this mean I can go back t sleep now?"
Insanityβs lips creased somewhat. βWhatever. Iβll do whatever I want, Death,β Insanity sneered at the other God. βJust go away. Iβll call you if I need you again.β
Death huffed softly, crossed his arms and popped away.
Dhiscord looked Insanity over. Up and then down. She couldn't figure this guy out at all and it was really starting to bug her. She turned on her heels and waltzed back into to her cell.
"Thanks or whatever, for not having me killed like you originally wanted to."
Insanity watched her, looking weirded out and exhausted. βYeah. Youβre welcome. Iβll be moving you eventually soβ¦ donβt go anywhere, I guess.β
"Yup." She answered, popping her 'p'. She shut the "cell" door behind and reclined on her bed, grabbing the packet of crackers and tearing in to them. with her teeth before gingerly picking up one at a time.
Insanity shrugged and meandered back down to his office, where he picked up a giggling Cupid. She squealed when Insanity appeared, clapping her hands together and squawking.
Dhiscord listened hard as the giggling resurfaced. Cupidβ¦. She wondered if that was the name of the creature she had heard, had felt.
"Cupidβ¦" She said quietly.
Insanity gently took the hands of the tiny baby. She cooed happily and kissed his hands, giggling. Insanity rolled his eyes.
βYouβre crazy.β
Dhiscord snorted listening to the two. "You're one to talk." She muttered, stuffing another cracker in her mouth. How could the God behave that way⦠towards something so small?
Cupid cooed loudly up at him. Insanity laughed at her, gently booping her nose. She squealed, which sent her voice ringing down the halls.
She heard it, loud and clear that time. Dhiscord moved to the door and stood by it, tempted to just step out for just a moment, but she didn't. She didn't need anything to complicate her stay. Nothing at all. Besides, Insanity wasn't too fond of her just yet so he still might ship her off to Death if provoked.
Cupid continued her loud babbling, to the gently laughing Insanity. He lifted her up, humming softly.
βLetβs go to your room, Cupi. Itβs so dark and musty in here.β He held her gently and close, as he walked away from the βcellsβ to another, considerably brighter hall.
Dhiscord heard the two recede, moving away from her, leaving her in silence. She ran a hand down the wall that separated them and sighed. How long would she be in here for? A year? Another 25 years?
(Skip?)
((Yeah, a day or two? A week?))
(A week. When Dhiscord gets tired of the room?)
((Yeah, she's gonna go out.))
(Neato. Who starts?)
