(But itβs up to you m8)
(It's your rp)
(But I asked you, frien
Are you up to it or nah?
Arguing or nah?
We can do it later)
(let's do it. Wherever you want to jump in.)
(Alright Iβll start us where he gets to work, alright?)
(You got it!)
(^-^)
M sighed whenever he reached the wide double doors of the Palace, setting a hand on the cool bronze surface and pushing them open, slipping through them and shutting them again. Heβd came to do exactly what he said heβd do. Work. Not get into stupid, petty arguments. He started down his first hall with purpose, his office in mind.
(Alright)
(jezzz. patience is a virtue)
Jericho sat at his desk rubbing the exhaustion from his eyes. He was in no mood to deal with anything today and really wished he could just forgo working and return to his bed. And the bottle of alcohol he'd been nursing all night instead of sleeping.
M opened the door to his office quietly and shut it behind himself quietly, setting his things down on his desk with a sigh. Hopefully today is just another quiet day⦠He thought tiredly as he locked the door with his magic, plopping down tiredly in his chair.
Jericho heard M's office door close and lock. He sighed deeply into his coffee, making no move to get up and report over to his boss. The previous night was a disaster and he would have preferred the world stay quiet and away from him this morning. Jericho stretched, joints popping, before sagging into his chair again. Booting up his computer, he leaned back to watch the clouds cross the sky, wondering what possibly could go wrong this day.
M relaxed slowly with a deep sigh, running his hands up and down his face and through his fluffy black hair, which had dried in the heat of the sun above them. He took a few moments to just sit there like that, then sat up towards a nice, hearty stack of papers. He went to analyzing them, only to figure out they needed to be copied.
Great. Not real work for me to do.
But first M had to call Alison. Uphold his promise. He grabbed up hid bag which was plopped away at the side of his chair and opened it, pulling out his cell phone and unlocking it. He pulled up Alison's number and called it, leaning back in his chair with a sigh as it rung.
(Autumn, did you want me to edit my last response so we can include Alison?)
(I mean, if you want. π€·πΌββοΈ)
(I do, since we kinda really need to develop M and Alison, lol)
(Lol. Go ahead, then.)
(There you are.)
Alison had fallen back asleep after M left, but she quickly woke back up at the sound of her phone ringing. Answering it, she held it up to her ear.
βHello?β she answered with a small yawn.
"Hi," M said softly into the phone, his eyes flitting up to the ceiling. She sounded tired and half-asleep; it reminded him that he needed to fetch a cup of coffee. "Did I wake you up?"
βNo, noβ¦ I was just going to get up. Itβs fine. You made it to work?β Ashley asked, changing the subject.
M frowned a little but nodded, dpesite knowing she couldn't see him. "Yeah. I made it here okay. What were you going to do today?"
βOhβ¦ You knowβ¦ Just laying aroundβ¦ Maybe do some journaling or something,β Ashley said with a small shrug.
(Aubrey? Lol.)
M drummed his fingers on the desk. "You remember your parents are coming over tonight? I'll be home in time for themβ¦" β¦hopefully, He finished to himself, looking back at the papers.
(Wrong character. Sorry.)
βOf course. Iβll have dinner done and the table set by then,β Ashley declared. All that will be left is for you to show upβ¦
(That's okay ^-^)
M rubbed his cheek. It was moments like these that he could read her thoughts, but he couldn't read someone's thoughts over the phone. He wasn't that goodβ¦
"Okay. Well, I'll try to get back in time."
