βWell thatβs not possible, is it? Would you rather get something or nothing?β He crossed his arms tightly against his chest, leaning on the wall.

Dhiscord raised her hands in a defensive manner. "I'm not complaining, just curious about your change of heart. I'll keep quiet."
Insanity huffed. βMy change of heart happened from a once over of my knowledge of Demons.β
"I'm a test subject, now?" Dhiscord perked a bit. She liked the sound of that. He could watch her behavior, study her wingsβ¦. maybe he could evenβ No, he wasn't a doctor.
βNo. Youβre a prisoner waiting for Death.β He rolled his eyes. βWhy would I keep you alive? We take pride in our Universeβs safety.β
"Then why not kill me? Why risk me getting out when you can just ensure their safety now?" She barked. She growled, baring her teeth at him. He was confusing her.
βI canβt kill you. Donβt have the guts. But I can injure you if you leave. I have certain weapons I can useβ¦β He smiled wickedly.
"So you're not going to starve me. You won't kill me. You haven't forced me to do any labor or threatened to torture me?" She listed.
Insanity yawned. βNo, because us Gods are actually fair and compassionate. In this situation, Iβm thinking more for my subjects, but thatβs not of your mindset.β
"I'm just going to ignore the first two lies that slipped from your beautiful lips and conitnue from there. No, that isn't my mindset, my main concern is me." Dhiscord countered with equal boredom. "Now, if you're quite finished, I think I'll take a nap."
βBeautiful?β Insanity repeated with a sneer. βJeez. You really donβt know how to bargain for your life. Iβve seen many people do it on many occasions and insulting the man standing between you and your death is not one.β He laughed and leaned off the wall.
βAnyway, Iβm going to go call Death, now.β
"Very well." Dhiscord replied with a shrug and laid down on the bed in the corner of the room. Despite what he thought, she wasn't bargaining. She'd never, her pride wouldn't allow her to. She laid on her side, her back still hurt like hell.

Insanity flicked on the lights with a massive pannel down another hall, then went to his office. In there, was obviously a desk, lab set, and a crib. Insanity flicked on th lights and crossed the room to the crib, lifting up a small, pink-haired child. He smiled brightly. The smol cooed softly and snuggled into his hair.
((Gasp! I was not expecting that! XD))
Dhiscord waited until his footsteps receded into nothingness before she shed her jacket and then her shirt. She sat up slowly and rolled her shoulders again. Craning her neck, she looked to blueish-purple bruises along her back. Recently, she didn't heal as fast as she usually did. Sliding to the floor, she bowed her head to the cold tile as she tried to make as much room as possible. With a deep throated groan, her wings, black as night, protruded from slits in her back and unfurled. She was gasping and out of breath once they pressed against the walls and ceiling. She let the stratch as best as she could.
Insanity booped the smolβs nose, setting her down. She giggled, her hair lifting up with a pink mist. Insanity beamed.
βDoes little Cupid want a snack?β
Cupid clapped her hands together, cheering happily at him.
Dhiscord's head perked at the sound of a giggle. Was there someone with the God? She hadn't scented anyone else when she had arrived. And the voiceβ¦.it sounded infantile. She looked in the direction of the voices.
He had a child down here?
Insanity clapped his hands with her, broadening her noise. Cupid giggled loudly, clapping her chubby little hands harder together.
Insanity laughed, rolling his eyes and turning to grab a package of crackers for her down from a cabinet.
What a cute sound⦠Dhiscord thought, allowing her curiosity to peak just a bit more. She inched closer to the far wall, despite the protests of her body. Pressing her ear to the wall. She listened for the sound again.
Insanity opened up the crackers and handed it to the giggling girl, who was still clapping. She cooed loudly up at him, as if in thanks, and took a cracker. She squawked most like a parrot, then went to the cracker.
A soft laugh surprised Dhiscord as it fell from her lips. She leaned away from the wall. What was she doing? Laughing? Smiling? All for what? Some odd organism she didn't know?
Even as she thought these things, she couldn't help but reach out with her senses, closing her eyes, trying to feel that life force. It was small, but oh was it strong and warm, pulsing with something unfamiliar to Dhiscord.
Insanity laughed his screechy, mirth filled laugh and he sat down in front of his desk. βWeβll have to find something else for you to eat. But you sure do love your crackers, eh?β
Cupid squawked again, waving her cracker around as she giggled.
LIstening, Dhiscord let a small smile grace her features. The sounds were so pleasant, so odd, they beckoned to her in a way she'd never expereincesd. If only she wasn't stuck in this room.
Insanity chuckled and tapped his hands on the desk, lifting her up. βLetβs go for a ride.β He plopped her into his coatpocket, where she cooed and giggled. He stood, walked across the room after getting a package of crackers and made his way to Dhiscordβs room. He tapped on the door, unlocked it and peered in, paying no mind to her wings.
βI got food.β He tossed her the crackers.
With a turn, Dhiscord turned and caught the pack of crackers. Put her attention was on the God's body. She could sense it, that precious life, he had it with him. Her eyes searched him trying to see where it could be. She lowered her wings to get a better view.
