Insanity kept himself in the way of his child, one hand on her head. Cupid giggled and grabbed his hand, sending bright pink sparkles everywhere.
“Anyway, I’m calling Death now.” He turned and shut the door again.

She did show that she heard his words, her eyes were on his pocket, the one he covered. There was that sound once more and then….

Sparkles?

Once the door shut, she folded her wings and crawled towards the sparkles on the floor. She played with happily, passing the particles through her fingers. "You said that already…" She called to the God.

Insanity brushed off the sparkles on his coat, sighing. “I know. I got distracted. And don’t mess with the sparkles. They’ll go away on their own.”
The sparkles she was poking sunk into her skin slowly.

A soft gasp came from her as she watched it all disappear, a pit forming in her stomach as she sat alone one more. But that sound, that came from the small creature, it replayed in her mind continuously. Sighing, she returned to the bed, kneeling before it and resting her head on her arms. Her wings had be hidden for the entirety of the trip from Ra'Maa, she wouldn't put the back unless she had to.

Insanity went back to his office, lifting out the child from his pocket and booped her nose. “Such a cute little bugger! Yes you are!”
Cupid squealed happily, clapping her hands.

Sleep came so easily for her, crackers clutched in hand as she kneeled before the bed. And in her dreams, she was wrapped in the warm of the life source, comforted by the giggles she'd heard, wearing the sparkles she'd saw. SOmething extraordinary had happened…

She was at peace.

Insanity sat on the ground with her, shaking his head. Cupid giggled and mimed his action, her fluffy hair fluttering around her hair. Insanity smiled, booped her nose and runmaged around in his coat, finally pulling out a cell-phone-like contraption. He dialed into it, then called for Death, who arrived in the office moments later, causing Insanity to jump.

Dhiscord snored softly in her cell. Sleep was always a relaxed moment for her. She never suffered from nightmares, and that was a small blessing.

(Nah, I’ll do Death.)

Death was a gangly man with long black hair that covered his eyes. His lips were pulled up in a huge, demon-like smile. Cupid squealed when she saw the other God. Death bowed lightly. “I have received your memo. Where is she?”
“She’s just in the room down the hall.”

Dhiscord was still asleep, unbeknownst to her, her finally prisoner had arrived. She breathed deep, still dreaming of the strange life source. It warmed her souls in a way she'd never known.

Death nodded and slunk down the hall, his smile still stuck on his face. He approached her door and knocked on it.
“Dhiscord? Are you ready?”

Dhiscord awoke to the knock. She looked towards the door and tried to sense who it was. The god had said he was calling Death. Apparently, that was him. "Uh…. One second." She replied groggily. She slipped her shirt back on, her wings receding into the slits of her back. She stood and for a moment, her heart ached.
This was it. There would be no more adventures. And she hadn't even truly lived yet.
There was still something she didn't know of…. that life. She knew it would consume her for the rest of eternity, that she didn't know.
With a sigh, she moved towards the door.

Death crossed his arms and huffed down at her. “There you are. I thought Insanity had grabbed another Demoness. But… alright, we’ll make this quick.” He turned to Insanity, who was peering around the corner.
“Thank you, for catching her.”
Insanity nodded slowly.

Dhiscord didn't look to Insanity, no matter how much she wanted to, just to check and see if she could see the small creature. The God couldn't deal so he sent someone else to exterminate her, he'd lost her respect all together.
