Logan exhaled softly, and then kissed her back. I shouldn't be doing this. I shouldn't be kissing a human girl. I'm just going to doom us both… But he didn't want to stop. He shifted, lightly putting an arm around her shoulders.

Butterflies took flight in Allie’s stomach as she kept kissing Logan. She was just how she’d imagined it would be…not that she’d imagined it. Much.
Logan tightened his arm around her, keeping the touch of his lips to hers as light as possible, as gentle. He didn't want to press too hard or move too fast.
Allie moved her hands to his hair, running it through her fingers. She didn’t want to take things too quickly either, instead moving as if she had all the time in the world. She wanted to preserve this moment.
Logan reached up, lightly cupping the back of her head in one hand, fingers stroking against her hair. He didn't know why he was doing this, why he was letting this happen…but damnit, he didn't want it to stop, either.
Allie knew she’d have to come up for air sooner or later, but his hair was so soft and she didn’t want to take her lips off of his. Everything about this moment felt right, even as Allie knew it was probably not right in the least. He was the enemy, after all, wasn’t he?
Logan closed his eyes, hands still stroking her hair gently as he held her close. He didn't want to stop. He knew that, eventually, she would come to her senses and pull away, but until then…he didn't want to stop.
After another several moments, she pulled away. Instead of detaching herself from him completely, however, she just held onto him, moving her arms to his back.
He looked at her, taking a deep breath. "I…" he trailed off, not sure what to say, but knowing that something needed to be said. He just didn't know…what.
Allie looked up at him, still holding onto him. “You…what?” she asked. This was the part where he said it was a mistake and left her here by herself, wasn’t it? It was probably the smart thing to do, but she found she didn’t actually want him to leave.
(gtg to bed now. Good night!)
Logan bit his lip a little. "Nothing." he replied slowly. "I just…what was that for?" he asked.
(good night!)
Allie sighed. “Does it have to be for something? Can’t I just kiss you because I wanted to? Or because I felt like it?” She gave him a flirty smile.
Logan shrugged. "I…don't know." He shrugged slightly, looking at her carefully. "But…" He shook his head a little.
She raised an eyebrow, her smile vanishing. “But…?” she repeated, inquisitive.
He shrugged. "I'm not sure it's a good idea…I'm not human, Allie. I never will be. And you…are."
“And?” she asked, wrinkling her nose. “I’m already sick. The world as we know it as ending. What else am I supposed to do? Just pretend that if I survive this, then everything will suddenly be all right?” She looked into his eyes, daring him to contradict her. Or maybe she just wanted to be told that she was wrong and everything would be all right, even if it was a lie.
"I…I don't know." Logan replied slowly. "I…" He shook his head a little. "It isn't a good idea. Your life is danger when I'm around."
"My life is in danger when you're not around too," she argued. "It's not like going our separate ways or something is going to change that."
Logan groaned softly. "Okay. If you say so." He shook his head a little.
She smirked, glad to have won the argument. Is that what had just happened? She shook it off, glancing down at the game board, pieces strewn everywhere. She giggled. "Looks like we forgot about Candyland for a minute there."
Logan chuckled. "Mm. Still think you can beat me?" He raised his eyebrows again. "Or are you chickening out?"
“Me? Chicken out? Never,” she responded, beginning to set up the board again, with both of their pieces at the start.
He chuckled, leaning back. "Alright then. If you say so." He cleared his throat softly.
"You can start, since you're so good," Allie replied with a smirk and a tiny bit of sarcasm in her voice.
Logan grinned at her, and pulled a card, moving forward. He shot her a look. "Your turn."
