(sure thing! gn!)
"No! Bein' grown up is cool!" The little werewolf corrected Danny, shaking their head.
"As the adult in this situation, man, I gotta say- very not cool. Y'know what/s cool? Bein' six. Very sick. Stay six forever."
He kept shifting around, trying to find a comfortable position to sit in while he worked.
“Bein’ six sucks.” The little werewolf grumped, plopping down with their arms crossed over their chest.
“Yeah? So does bein’ an adult. At least you’re not payin’ rent.”
(do we wanna timeskip?)
(Yeah, please!)
(alright. To where?)
(Scenario-wise? I'm really not sure. My best idea is directly after one of Danny's sets? If you've got other ideas, let me know, lmao)
(Hmm I don't really have any other ideas, no, so let's do that)
(Alright! I'll get that up, then!)
That set ended with a bang, the grimy and angry noise of Danny's band ending sharply and suddenly. The bar was as loud, smokey, and rowdy as ever, just how Danny liked it. He barked something into the mic, setting down his guitar and hopping off the stage. The words were hard to make out over the chattering of the bar's patrons.
(Kk, thanks!)
Alex had showed up for the gig; it wasn't like he had much else to do, and besides, maybe he'd strike it lucky and end up with a new boyfriend, though the chances of that were slim. Most people in a place like this were just looking for a good fuck, not a longer term partner.
Danny came up to the bar, not yet noticing Alex. Frasier had his arm wrapped around Danny's shoulder, and the two of them were arguing playfully. They played at this bar mostly for the free drinks, but the energy of the place was nice too.
(so…in the original post, this was going to be a romance, and I'm not quite sure how that's going to work with Danny and Frasier in such a great relationship?? I mean, I'm not upset, im just a little bit confused?)
Alex was sitting and talking to someone, his hair tucked back in a small ponytail, though a few strands had escaped and were drifting around his face.
(That's my issue rn, lmao, I'm working on a thing or two right now to split them up! Don't worry, I didn't forget, lmao)
"Fuck off…" Dann snorted, lightly pushing Frasier away. He took a sip of his drink, slipping out of the bassist's arm. "Suck my fucken' dickkk."
"I'm just messin' around, you know that." Frasier nudged Danny, leaning on the bar.
"Yeah, yeah. I know." He glanced around the bar, catching sight of Alex out of the corner of his eye.
(lmaoo alright! I was pretty sure you hadn't, I was just curious)
Alex was talking with another guy, a soft little smile on his face, gesturing vaguely with his hands, a drink sitting in front of him, already half-gone.
Danny worried his lower lip between his sharp teeth, going quiet.
"You okay, Dan?" Frasier tilted his head.
"Huh? Oh. Yeah, sorry, sorry. Throat hurts kinda bad." Danny drained about half his drink, setting the glass back down on the bar. "And this is already hittin' me kinda hard." He held up his drink.
"That's it? Alright." Frasier straightened his back a bit.
"–I'm not kidding, that fucker was this big!" Alex said. And no, he wasn't talking about anyone. He was talking about an animal he had seen while traveling, get your mind out of the gutter.
The other guy snorted, shaking his head. "No way. I've never seen those things bigger'n about a foot."
"Yeah." Danny took a seat at the bar, rocking his glass from side to side.
"I'm gonna go out for a smoke. You wanna come?" Frasier tilted his head towards the door.
"Nah, nah. I'm fine." Danny shook his head, turning back towards the bar as his partner walked off. His gaze swiveled around, catching Alex in his sights again. He would've gone over to talk, but his friend seemed to be in a conversation already.
Alex shook his head energetically, laughing a little bit, grinning. He took a sip of his drink. "No, I'm serious! I don't have a photo, but it really was this big!"
Danny rubbed his eyes. Maybe he just hadn't eaten enough, but the drinks really were hitting him hard. God, he was a wreck. The werewolf looked at his hands and the calluses on his fingertips while he waited for Frasier to get back.
The other guy shook his head a little bit. "Pics, or it didn't happen." he replied, laughing softly.
Alex rolled his eyes. "But it did happen!"
He pulled his phone out of his pocket, rubbing his eyes and scrolling through it. "Hey, Fr- nope." Danny had seemingly forgotten that the bassist had gone outside. He pressed the pad of his thumb to his upper teeth, taking a tiny sip of his drink. He was hesitant to do it, but there wasn't much else for him to do.
"Nope. I don't believe you." the other guy said, but he was smiling.
Alex shrugged. "Fine, suit yourself." he replied, shaking his head.
Frasier came back in, sneaking up behind Danny and poking him in the sides. Danny jumped, trying to push his hands away. "Don't do that, man."
"Hey yourself. Why are you so upset?" Frasier sat back down next to Danny.
"I'm not upset. I just don't want you pokin' me 'n shit, man. You know I don't like it."
The guy chuckled quietly, smiling. He and Alex continued talking.
