Arien let out a long sigh.
"If you insist…" He set Rafael down carefully, still watching in concern to make sure he didn't need help, whether he wanted it or not.
Arien let out a long sigh.
"If you insist…" He set Rafael down carefully, still watching in concern to make sure he didn't need help, whether he wanted it or not.
As stubborn as ever, he was most definitely trying to make it the whole way back. He kept one hand on the wall as he walked. And he most definitely didn’t speak up when his vision began to get fuzzy.
Arian watched Rafael, concern slowly blooming over his face. He stepped forward, standing in front of Rafael.
"I took too much," he said softly, placing on hand on Rafael's shoulder to stop him. "For that, I deeply apologize. But please, let me help you…"
He knew there was no way he could get around Arien. Rafael let out a defeated sigh. “Fine.” His vision was fading even more, which even he knew meant he couldn’t push himself any further.
"Thank you." Arien picked Rafael up again, holding the man close. He moved down the hall, easily getting Rafael to his room. He laid Rafael down gently, making sure he was comfortable.
"I'm starting to worry if you should be taken to a hospital…" If he had taken too much, he needed to get Rafael a blood transfusion.
“I don’t think it’s that bad. I just need to get some rest and eat a lot when I get up and I should be fine. I appreciate that you care about these things though. It’s nice.” He smiled at the other.
Arien sat down on the edge of the bed, nodding slightly. He offered a soft smile.
"I'll make you some good foods to help with it." He smiled a bit again. "And I'm not sure how any couldn't be concerned for you right now."
“Thanks I appreciate it. And I don’t know honestly. Some people just..don’t. Now then,” he kicked at him weakly, “go have fun with your friend, I’ll be right here.”
Arien chuckled softly.
"Alright, alright, I'm going." Arien stood. "You'd best stay here, don't try pushing yourself." Arien smiled to show his good nature about this, stepping to the door.
"And I'll make sure my friend leaves you alone."
“I won’t push myself, promise.” He smiled softly at him in response. “And yes please make sure they leave me alone. I really don’t want to have to deal with people tonight.” The sentence ended in a mumble as he got more comfortable in the bed, his eyes closing.
Arien smiled softly as he looked at Rafael, leaning against the doorframe.
"Good night," he finally said, closing the door gently.
(So, timeskip? I think it would be fun to have the friend come bursting in, cause they be energetic as h e l l )
(Lol sounds great!)
Rafael was left alone, as had been promised. That is, until about two hours later. The door opened loudly, almost banging against the wall.
"Elliot!" Arien hissed, trying to get the man to stop without being too loud. The man, Elliot, ignored Arien.
"Hello~!" He called out, moving in towards Rafael.
While Rafael had been asleep up until that point, he definitely wasn’t now. He sat up a bit, groggy from having been just disturbed. “Um…hi?” He said in confusion, sending a look over towards Arien like ‘what’s going on?’
Arien gave an apologetic look, then glared at his friend.
"Elliot," He said, lightly hitting his friend's back. "I told you he was sleeping." Elliot waved Arien away, moving closer to Rafael.
"He'll have to get used to being awake at night anyway." Arien shook his head. No, he wasn't going to force Rafael to do that!
"My name's Elliot," he said, offering his hand.
Rafael carefully extended his hand, shaking Elliot’s. “I’m Rafael.” He replied. Arien hadn’t lied about Elliot being energetic, this guy was insane.
"So, you're Arien's new snack~? He's never brought anyone home before." Arien let out a long sigh. Elliot looked Rafael up and down, grinning as he turned to Arien.
"He'd be a cute toy!" Arien lightly hit Elliot's chest.
"I swear to god, you're not to touch him with your damn magic."
“Yeah, and just in general, don’t touch me please.” He smiled but it was laced with a very clear threat that if Elliot got in his personal space, he wouldn’t hesitate to break his arm. So far, Rafael just didn’t like Elliot.
Elliot huffed a bit.
"Couldn't if you were a doll," He mumbled to himself. Arien moved over to Rafael's side, hands on his hips.
"Elliot, I swear, if you do anything to Rafael that involves him not being human anymore I will destroy your makeup." Elliot gasped, a bit shocked.
"You wouldn't."
Rafael quietly watched this interaction go over, hoping Arien could get this guy to just leave him alone. Getting turned into an inanimate object did not sound appealing in the slightest.
"I most certainly would! Now go on, get out. Out!" Arien shooed Elliot out of the room, looking back at Rafael with an apologetic look.
"I am sorry about that," He said softly. "Don't be afraid to break his arm if he tries to do any magic on you."
He nodded. “Thanks for getting him out of here.” He lay back down on the bed, letting out a long sigh. “Well…goodnight again I guess.” He said, his eyes meeting Arien’s.
Arien offered a small little smile.
"Good night." He closed the door, and this time, no energetic witch came bursting through the door.
(Do you have anything else planned for the night or do you just want to timeskip?)
(I think a timeskip would be good for now!)
